Kaplan International Languages - Vancouver

Amazing places, you're going to learn a lot and also you're going to make friends from all parts of the word

Fee of Kaplan is expensive, but there are many good teachers. So, I was able to learn a lot of things. It was a good opportunity to meet friends and learn English.

The staff is very Friendly and professional. Very modern classrooms and a very well organized facility. I had my IELTS there and it was the best one so far.

Originaire de France, j'ai pris la décision de partir 5 mois améliorer mon anglais à Kaplan Vancouver dans une famille d'accueil. J'ai particulièrement aimé et appris grace à mes professeurs vraiment geniaux. Kaplan et son encadrement scolaire sont très bien, je recommande pour ce point, ainsi grace à la diversité des étudiants originaires du monde entier. En revanche, l'expérience de la famille d'accueil n'a pas été genial bien au contraire. Effectivement les majorités des familles d'accueil ne souhaitent pas partager ou autres comme on nous le prétend. C'est tout simplement un business pour eux.
Il y a énormément de merveille de la nature à découvrir en Colombrie Britaniaque, c'est magnifiaque (sans-abri sans abris alors rester prudent)
Hors la famille d'accueil, je recommande à tous les mondes de partir vivre cette expérience qui vous fera grandir.

The positive point is the teaching. The teachers are patient and attentive to the students. The activities offered are very interesting.

The negative point will be the price of accommodation if you take residence, if you can find your own accommodation it can be interesting.

Good school, people are amazing there and the activities are a big differencial compared to other schools.

A good opportunity to travel and make friends, especially if you want to improve your english.

The school is in a great location and everybody is really nice. Also the teachers are trying their best for everyone and so do the rest of the Kaplan`s personal. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to everybody.

This review is for IELTS Exam Center Experience. If you are close to Vancouver Downtown area, then don't even think twice before booking this amazing center. This center is the best to book your IELTS test. The staff is very polite. I had a IELTS General Test here a couple of days back and it was a very good experience. They ask you for the option you want to choose to whether have your test results in person (you can come when the test results are announced or the next day) or you want them posted to your residence. They have noise cancellation headphones which helps immensely for the Listening test, so all the anxiety that you have whether and how you would do in a test goes away as you hear crystal clear with the help of those headphones. You have to keep the headphones on for all the 3 sessions Listening, Reading and Writing. Even their computers have zooming capabilities so that makes reading anything very easy. You can take your water bottle (Clear although it could be colored) inside your test center. The only drawback I would say was the way the computer were placed, you have to look down for almost 3 hours and people with neck issues might not be comfortable doing that for such a long time. I had speaking for the same day in the afternoon and for that you have to arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled time and they might even take you in before if they have availability. After the test ended they even wen t ahead and gave chocolates to every test taker. Kind of a sweet gesture I would say.

I took my IELTS at Kaplan. It was a great experience. Staffs were helpful, friendly, and understanding. About the listening part, they had perfect headsets

I spent a month studying in this school. However, the school is not suitable for those who are already C1 or C2 as chances are that you end up not learning anything.

This school presumably offers C2 courses, but the reality is that the courses that are available are just until the C1 level. The worst part is that you are not told in which level you have been assigned until the very first day of school, so you may go from the other side of the world not to be assigned a course of the level you should be.

Had I known this beforehand, I would not have enrolled at this school since the good parts of the experience could have happened in any other school offering a course adapted to everyone.

A school that puts money before the students' learning does not deserve more than 2 stars.

Kaplan offers many activities. There are several options for lessons. You can also practice online and there are Kaplan Clubs! I would do it again!

This has been the best experience of my life, my time at Kaplan was fantastic, I enjoyed the classes, meeting friends from diferent countries, the city is beautiful and I keep the best memories.

Kaplan is good at learning English, so if you want to improve your English skill you have to learn here.

Pas mal sur tout point sauf pour le choix des familles d'accueil. Je recomande vivement de s'informer sur la localisation de la famille, des fois a plus de 1h15 de transport du downtown

I like how the teachers teach us English. Also, they made it very interesting and fun. The location and facilities are excellent, and the staff are helpful as well.

The stuff and the teachers in Kaplan helped me a lot to improve my English and supported me in every possible way. They supported us to participate in the activities which made the experience unforgettable. I would recommend the school for everyone who wants to improve their English skills and to experience the lifestyle in Canada.

Je suis partie avec Kaplan Vancouver pendant 6 mois, se fut une experience inoubliable, je suis arriver je n'avais que les bases d'anglais et j'ai ameliorer mon anglais tres vite.
En partant la-bas vous rencontrez des personnes forminables, la famille d'accueil ou je suis rester pendant 6 mois etait juste parfaite.le seul inconvient pour ma part c'est le cout de la vie a Vancouver qui est cher, vous payer pour tout en plus de Kaplan qui est cher de base.

I think Kaplan is a good school to improve your English, however my advice for you is that before you come here you should try to improve your English by yourself, in that order you're going to enjoy your time at Kaplan and of course it's cheaper hehehe:) take care.:)

Je recommande Kaplan Vancouver. Les professeurs sont de grande qualite et les etudiants viennent de differents pays. Mon experience fut incroyable.

I studied for 6 months in this school, it was really fun and I made friends from all of the world. Kaplan made my time in Vancouver even better.
