So, after ordering beef biryani with Raita, I got raita shots and lamb biryani which I don't even eat what is this restaurant? A joke? Guys you can let the customer know that you're sending something else in my house, lamb and goat are a SIN. Why would you change the meat without asking? Are you guys really running an Indian Cuisine?

I ordered chicken biryani, butter chicken and butter naan. Butter chicken and naan was good but we couldn’t even eat chicken biryani because of so many coriander seeds and cloves. In every bite we took, there was atleast 2-3 of coriander seeds. And the biryani so bitter because of all the spices. I couldn’t even remove all the seeds because there was so much but I attached a picture of 75% of the seeds I took out from the biryani.

Pricey, Greasy, taste is ok ok there are better places out there.this is a typical pakistani restaurant with grease floating all over the curries.its oozing.save your heart and arteries

And what is halaal, where halaal and why halaal, why am I seeing halaal boards all over the city these days.

Always had a good experience at Karakoram but today was really disappointing. Starting from the waiting time to the food. Most of the food was good but the deserts had small maggots, the maggots were literally moving when the desert was served. It looked disgusting and we had to send it back. Really not acceptable. Lost the appetite to eat after seeing that.

A best place to eat and taste good dishes. As my friends and I visited here it was an exceptional experience I had in a long time. The customer service was best and the servers does a great service. They have halal foods is one of the most better experience. I recommend everyone to dine in here. It's a cozy and we'll arranged place that can take away the stress and make you more relax.

I went there reading the reviews and was very much disappointed with the food. Seems like they’re using same oil for every dish. Food had zero taste! I wanted to walk away right at the moment.

Food was good but the staff was not. They were in hurry idk why but I really disliked their behaviour

I ordered one channa daal.there is no taste of spices in daal and it smells very bad. I modified by myself by put some spices so that it tastes good but nothing happened that smell is so bad. I do not want to do bad review but this is the first tym I am very frustrated with this food and had to give review. One more thing, please put less oil as if you are adding more oils it still not giving any taste. I do not want to give that one star also.

Was trying to give this once amazing restaurant the benefit of a doubt. Ordered 2.5 hours ago, called now and asked where my food was to where the response was “it is ready”. Low and behold, another 45 minutes have passed and I’m here nibbling on cashews instead of my $100 order ($96 to be exact).

Worst restaurant to go to. There was no taste in any food. Lamb biryani tasted like Khichdi (over cooked rice). Chef has no idea what Pakistani food taste like. Complete waste of time and money.

First time and really enjoyed the Lahori Karahi chicken with their naan mmmm scrumptious.plus the owner is extremely friendly (Kasim)

Worst service ever. Food took 2 hrs to get to the table. And staff is disrespectful. Never coming back ever.

The main reason for this rating is that the food quantity is very small and takes forever to get to your table. Our family and other people around us were staring at each other waiting for our food for over 2 hours. When the food finally came, everyone finished within 5 minutes because of the lack of quantity. The customer service was great and the waitresses were nice, but the amount of time wasted was honestly a disappointment. Will probably never come here again.

My family & I were in KK tonight and had Chicken Biryani, Chicken kardi & chai. Although I have been to this place in the past, but I wasn’t really impressed before.

However, the amazing food and absolutely excellent service by “Shahim” & “Khalid” tonight, made our night very special. Both these gentlemen are polite, professional, friendly and amazingly efficient. We had a great time & were so happy & impressed.

Thank you Shahim and thank you Khalid for amazing service, keep up the great work buddies.

And thanks to the great cook who made such delicious food.

I heard and saw good reviews but shocked with overall experience and food taste.   No way near to the taste of Pakistani lahoree chicken karhai. We were so hungry and ordered chicken karhai, lamb shank and BBQ chicken, and kababs. Food was ready in 20 minutes. Quantity was good and naans were tasty.but Very disappointing taste of overall food. Chicken in Chicken karahi was not coherent with spices (masala),   tasted separately from spice (masala) and gravy, looks like quick chicken karahai.   Lamb shank, rice and BBQ chicken was not up to the mark with spice and taste.   Lamb and chicken kabab was ok. Not impressed at all. Environment is not appealing and kind of old building smell and sticky floor. The back parking was so dirty like a dumping place with garbage and junk behind the restaurant's kitchen. Customer service was good. First and last visit to this restaurant.

Never recommend. Food was oily. Literally no taste at all. You can experience weird stale smell in food. Don't come and waste your money here. Don’t believe on their fake 5 star reviews.

Had the full lamb karahi here and it was extremely delicious! The lamb perfectly cooked and of great quality. The meat was more than sufficient for four people, although we did order extra naans.

This was my second time trying this place after the first time on Skip The Dishes. The service was unwelcoming, food was insipid, and the prices outrageous.

Upon entry there is a strong smell of chlorine or bleach that overwhelmed me. After entry, waited for more than 5 mins and the server never acknowledged or told me to have a seat. Finally walked over and sat down.

Very weird experience from the beginning. Noticed the same with other guests as well. Interiors seemed worn out and tables and chairs were neither cleaned nor arranged properly. Server seemed tired and not eager, which is strange because it was only 7pm. Managers were sitting at a table and just working on the laptops, would be better if they assist her and provide good service to customers.

Ordered a kebab wrap, the chicken seekh inside was chewy and seemed frozen and then grilled again. Very dry, minimum green chutney and literally 2-3 slices of cucumber. Ordered a hummus dip on the side and it was cold and thick dry as well. Was charged $1.75 for a bottle of water which is outrageous considering the food prices. All mains are $16-18 and the Karahis are $30-$50.

Absolute shame, this and Dewan-E-Khaas are definitely not a place to go to try Pakistani cuisine. No comparison to Dubai or even Toronto restaurants in food and service.

Will recommend Lahori restaurant, or some other in Surrey for sure.

First time came on recommendation and it was worth travelling from Abbotsford really like their Lamb karahi Namak mandi I am from Namak Mandi area where this karahi started it was wonderful as I expected
Another dish we order nihari and family grill plater every thing was nice and fresh

I been there for first time, I try to eat birani and Lumb soup, little bit spicy but I love it, amazing food, good service very friendly thank you for amazing food I will come back for sure.

Beef Nihari was just top notch! The meat was cooked fall off the bone consistency and tasted heavenly.

Food was nice.but not satisfied with the service.restaurant was busy but there was just one server.ordered biryani twice.didn’t get that ever after half an hour wait.so finally had to cancel that.and it was too cold in the restaurant.would never go back there

Food was excellent and really delicious. Ordered the lamb namak mandi, family girl, pulao rice and naan. Namak mandi was delicious and tikkas were juicy and yummy. Best Pakistani food I have had in Vancouver so far. Worth the money and wait.

We visited this restaurant for dinner and were pleasantly impressed with the great food and ambiance. Our server made us feel very comfortable, not rushed, and with great service. We had butter chicken and Chicken Biryani with amazing grilled chicken, food was very delicious! We were truly mind blown by the food and flavors. Thanks for the unforgettable night!

Worst biryani I ever had, dry old pieces of chicken, weird oily smell in all dishes, portion size of butter chicken less with day old pieces of chicken, not worth at all for cost.

Food was good but the service provided by Ganesh and his team was excellent.

I rarely leave negative reviews but this was a must! 1st time we went there! I heard Karahi is the speciality there but we were craving Nihari. We got seated promptly. Other tables and chairs, which is awesome, were being cleaned with such a strong cleaner, Vinegar, which smelled horrible. The menu card on the other hands do not get wiped. We ordered the Nihari and Kashmiri grilled chicken. It took quite a while to come out but ok, no problem! The chicken came out first. It was on a skillet. I would've appreciated the server reminding me that it was hot. Being already annoyed that the naans were not out I pushed the skillet towards my hubby, from the HANDLE! Got burned! And spilled the joghurt! Server immediately brought me another one! Nihari came out with the naans. Halfway through, there was Nihari and a tikka on my plate AND a long hair on my plate in the Nihari curry. I called the server and showed her and asked for a clean plate. She took my plate, with the Nihari and chicken piece brought me a new plate and asked ' is this from our side or yours? ' REALLY? I told her to look at my hair which was neatly wrapped in a bun! I thaught they would give us another chicken piece or some more Nihari meat as she rook mine away.but no. Maybe some % off the bill or void some items. NOPE! No apologies nothing. I heard great things about the place and shame that I will not be returning to try the Karahi! Extremely disappointed in the customer service!

I was looking to try some halal options in Vancouver and came across Karakoram. We ordered the lamb biryani and chicken karahi. Amazing quality and taste. I would highly recommend to visit on Wednesday as they have a Biryani promotion for only $10.

I did not know about this place, but after I tried it, I tell alot of people. Including you. It's delicious, it's authentic and it's amazing.

We went there yesterday and my wife almost broke her left hand. Here's what happened: We were a group of four and when we went inside the restaurant the waiter (she wears a hijab) started measuring our temperatures for covid. She measured my wife's temperature first and kind of ordered her to go the table. While she was going the table, she slipped and fell and almost broke her hand! The whole floor was super slippery and kinda oily. If it was not my wife who was first in line, it could have been I or literally anyone else. There were other people who slipped on the floor as well but luckily didn't fall. In the restaurants defence, they did put a caution sign cone but it was behind the waiter who was taking the temperature and we didn't see it at all. After this the waiter didn't say sorry or offer us any first aid kid rather she was blaming that it was my wife's fault that she fell. We talked with the manager/chef and he was not any help either. We asked him to at least put the caution sign cone where it's visible. Anyway, if you value your and your families lives, don't go to this place as they don't care about your safety at all.

We ordered chicken biryani and Kabab I couldn’t take kabab picture as I was very hungry and I ate it chicken biryani was very and taste like real deggi biryani I will come back for sure to try other dishes

Ambient restaurant with delectable food. I loved that they offered halal chicken and the option to opt out for whole wheat roti. I highly recommend the Pindi Kabab Karahi and the $10 Briyani on Wednesdays. The place is very convenient to find. Will definitely come back again!

I’m a neighbour that use to walk around that area. The back of the restaurant looks like a dumpster. They never clean their garbage, they throw everything on the back ale as the pictures. There is grease on the walkway from their last grease trap cleaning.

Awesome is a just a word but Karakorum is an emotion! Been to this restuarent on last saturday with family and undoubtedly it was an wonderful experience. Though it was super bizi they gave us warm welcome and with in no time they arrange us a table and Coming to food we ordered Lamb chops and 1/2 kg Lamb/chicken Karahi oh god.it was seriously yummy and delicious Service I still remember his name Pruthvi he was like managing more than half of the tables with fast and furious with great customer managing skills and mainly maintaining smile on his face though it was air blocking bizi. I pen down and writing this big review to say words are not enough to praise the restuarent looking forward to visit soon with my family cheers

I ordered a food online on ubereats and it was delicious. Usually some restaurants do not pack food properly but you guys packed it so nicely.i am a cook in a restaurant and i can tell the quality of food as well.so the quality of this restaurant is AMAZING.

Last night i went there and that was terrible experience. I ordered lamb shawarma first of all that was not a lamb shavarma at all they just wrapped completely burn naan with kabab. Second the quality specially the naan which was completely burned i dont know there is some check and balance or not because it was 11.30 pm almost maybe they were tired or whatever i paid for something should get that thing otherwise close it and sleep early.

The haleem tasted so good. The blend of spices made it delicious. The lady who took care of the service was very polite and smiling even though she was the only one taking care of all the customers.

It is a very nice pakistani restaurant. Food was very tasty and chef was very attentive. I liked how food was very flavourful, it was prepared fresh. I would give it 5 stars but floors were so wet and slippery, you had to hold on to the wall on the way to the bathroom. I appreciate clean floors but thats a major hazard, even waiter was slipping and sliding. Food was really good and tasty, but meat was a little tough. All in all, they’ve improved this restaurant quiet a bit since the last time I was there

Non veg cuisine are very good with reasonable rates. But our today's personal visit was not good. Service is quite slow and it takes almost 1 hr to complete your order. Only one lady staff was in dining hall who was taking care of all customers right from taking orders to serve them and finally billing. Very pathetic.

Found hair in the biriyani I ordered. I am a fan of their biriyani and the green chutney which comes with it. I order quite often from them. But today found hair in my food. Very very gross and disappointing.
