Katie's Place

Katie’s place is a no kill cat shelter. It saves abandoned cats and provides lifelong services for them until they got adopted or passed away (in particular those unadoptable cats).

Amazing rescue association, such caring volunteers and a very loving & chill environment for the kitties, very thankful for the help provided & will be adopting here in the future.

I enjoyed the short time that I was there today. The staff I spoke to were very friendly and helpful. Some of the cats were quite friendly.

Helped me rescue a stray and placed her in my home she is doing wonderfully and I am so happy to suport Katie's place

A lovely, well run place supporting misplaced cats and small critters. This lovely facility houses up to 150 cats. They all are looking for their forever home. Give them a call

Got our cat from here and he has been nothing but a joy. The volunteers here work very hard taking care of all the cats and this place does it's best to give cats a chance. Worth going to even just to give some cats some attention and love on the weekend. If you are looking for a cat to adopt check this place first!

Katie's Place is the only place I will recommend finding a new feline family member.

Katie’s Place is a wonderful haven for kitties in need of a loving home. It is clean and the animals are healthy (as can be, as some have medical issues, but are just as loving and in need of a good home as the healthiest ones). You know when you walk in that the animals are well cared for by these wonderfully dedicated human beings. The volunteers are dedicated and extremely knowledgeable. They do an amazing job caring for all of the cats at Katie’s Place, even the ones who are the most difficult to manage. You can see the love they have for animals, and they are so happy to see cats go to loving homes. They made my first true adoption experience really easy and enjoyable. Evelyn recommended a few cats who she thought would fit in well at my home, and with my resident cat, Sturgeon. She nailed it when she recommended Strago (now named Aloysius). Within 2 minutes at Katie’s Place he was asking me for pets and bopping me in the face with his head, and I just knew he was meant to be mine. Now we are in the morning of day 2 and both Aloysius and Sturgeon are doing even better than I had expected. A few small hisses here and there from Sturgeon, but I am pleased to say both boys are currently resting calmly on my bed with me. No hissing, just two calm boys taking a cat nap with mom. Thank you to Evelyn and everyone at Katie’s Place for bringing Aloysius and me together. You all do such amazing things for the animals who live there. The volunteers here were able to provide great background & personality information on the cats I was interested in to help me decide which one would be a perfect companion to my existing cat.
