I have never dealt with such a group of people before in my life!
The lack of respect that was shown to my son after his death was just wrong,
Plus it too, almost 1 month from the time he went into their care, until we received his ashes back in Ontario.
I'm really disappointed with the whole place,
I heard every excuse in the boo, to why he hadn't been sent,

Our family cannot express the gratitude we feel for Kearney's professional and compassionate handling of our mother's funeral in September 2023 under the direction of Jeanette Fong. Their reverence for the occasion that a Catholic funeral and Mass commands was noted and their front line assistance throughout the day was most appreciated.

Kearney Funeral Services were the most compassionate and professional funeral services to help us through a very sad and devastating death for my dear friend, Robert Morgan. Jeanette Fong was the Funeral Director aided by JoAnne Farley. The entire team at Kearney Funeral Services provided excellent service and guided us through our grief with compassion and first class professionalism.

Kearney's did an excellent job in helping us through the funeral of my mother. In particular, our Funeral Director Jeannette Fong was exceptional. She was professional, kind, sympathetic and extremely competent. She did everything she said she would, on schedule, and it was all done very well. The staff supporting her were polite and efficient. They all deserve the highest rating.

This place helped me so much with their kindness and patience. Shame on anyone who speaks badly about this very professional and reputable company. I will forever be greatful for your hospitality when my dad kicked it in 2008. Lots of love to you guys!

My mom recently passed away and our family had previously used Kearney funeral services for my dad's funeral 8 years previously, we knew as a family we were going use them again, I met with Jeannette and she helped me through the process and she was brilliant, the staff on the funeral day was amazing and made the day go easier for our family on a difficult day, highly recommended and we as a family want to thank everyone at Kearney for everything they did for our mother

We used Kearney Funeral services to put my husband to rest. I was apprehensive about meeting with them because I didn't know what to expect. Jeanette Fong met us on a Saturday and walked us through everything. She was kind, understanding and didn't hesitate to make sure I understood everything that was going to happen. I felt understood, safe and that my wishes with how my husband was to be treated were being valued and understood. No one hopes to have to go to a funeral home, but Jeanette made this process one that, were it my time, my family would be cared for the same way. Thank you Jeanette Fong for helping me through this experience. You are a credit to your profession and I am so glad it is you holding our hands through this process.

Hannah Lamberte was our director and she was so helpful in taking us through what was needed and the choices that we had. The service was in the New Westminster facility. The chapel was well laid out and the staff were great. We had catered refreshments afterwards, and the service and the food again were excellent. Thank you so much to all the Kearney staff for your help, you were awesome.

Dealing with a death in the family is never easy. I found Kearney Funeral Services made this situation a profoundly positive experience. I was fortunate to be able to deal with Hannah Lamberte as our funeral director. I found her to be extremely professional and compassionate about our situation. She clearly explained all options and calmly explained to any disenfranchised feeling members of the family why particular procedures must be followed. She was lovely to deal with and I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again and would ask if she could be our funeral director when the need arises. She went beyond the call of duty to obtain a priest when all lower mainland priests were doing required training on the day of my mom’s funeral service. She was very resourceful and made it happen. We received lots of compliments from those attending as to the priest who celebrated and the organist/singer, obtained by Hannah, who played the musical part of the service beautifully. I sincerely hope Hannah will be our funeral director with the Kearney team in the future.
