Kelly O'Bryan's Restaurant & Carlos O'Bryan's Pub

Friendly staff (when they actually come to your table) with okay food and a minimal selection of beer. Not a bad place but could be so much better given the location and price point of everything.

The good news is that they actually have parking on site.

The food came out hot and yummy. The service was great. The atmosphere was loud, and it was hard to hear.

Food is great, staff are even better! Lu, Sami, Kelsey, Brandon, etc. P. S. Bring back the calamari!

Kelly O’Bryans is great for cheap food and drinks. Especially during happy hour! Don’t expect too much, but the food has always satisfied my cravings. It’s great option for affordable drinks and dinner.

We usually love coming here for drinks and food, but we won’t be coming back.got stuck in a booth where the server rarely came to see us.we wanted to order waters and send a dish back (the poutine was root temp, cold) it took her around 10 minutes to even check back.we would’ve drank more but the lack of service was getting annoying.sat for an hour, got legitimate help twice.the servers way of “checking tables” is to take a quick look then never come back.my boyfriend spent a lot of time just hanging his head out the booth to catch someone’s attention.i had to go to the bar to ask staff for water.

Loved everything, had our large party accommodated for. Sun was blaring with heat and we had pretty good coverage with the umbrellas and the food was delicious with no issues. Shout out to the team for keeping us hydrated and filling out hellies

Always so fun! The drink menu is absolutely insane, it’s so hard to choose because everything is so good! The food is always great as well, and lovely service.

Awesome place with a great atmosphere and amazing food. We ordered Pachos, Ceasar salad and chicken dumplings. Everything was amazing.especially the Pachos. Their patio is pretty big and tables are spread out very nicely so you're not in anyone's bubble. Definitely coming here again to try more food.

This is great place with a great menu. The Irish short ribs is a must try. We really enjoyed the place and everything we ordered was great, however there was one slight problem that made our absolutely amazing experience a bit disappointing; they charged us 0.75 cents for hot sauce. Now that's nothing comparing to our total bill but it seems a bit cheap for such a franchise with menu of this quality to charge people for sauce.

Food tastes only ok. I ordered the prime rib with soup, double baked potato. Unfortunately the double baked potato tasted really off.
Servers did not wear masks
Smells weird inside the restaurant, kind of like years of spilt beer stuck in the carpet and was never cleaned. Furniture is also on the older and beat up side.

Such a great atmosphere, the prices are great, and all of the staff are super helpful, nice, quick, and friendly. We visited many times while on vacation to VAN, even celebrating my birthday here. The free entrée because of this was an incredible perk. Drinks were amazing! I would absolutely return and recommend 100%!

It was a friday night and the staffs looked so busy (the inside hall was literally FULL). However, they were very attentive and kind. As well, the food (Irish onion soup / Jambalaya) was soooo good. Definitely will come back!

I would say this is my local watering hole. Always consistent and a great staff. Jarett, Blair, Amanda, Emmy, Eliza, Tess and many more are great. Always a friendly place to come and have a beer and an appy. Never disappoints. Great job guys, keep it up!

I'm glad this pub was able to shift and adjust to the unreasonable tyrannical regulations put in place without warning from the PHO. Despite being forced to dine in the cold, due to Dr. Henry, I had a great experience. Friendly and accommodating service from Kailea.

Great patio experience. Our server, Abbee was awesome. Very attentive even woth all the tables she was managing. Definitely a spot to visit continuously for a great atmosphere, good drinks, and amazing service!

A good dinning experience. Covid19 health and safety practices in place and enforced. The patio is great they offer heating lamps and fire pits.tha staff are friendly and work fast. The menu is great and Have a selection for all dietary needs.
The food came out hot and fast tasty but nothing spectacular. The prices are decent. Good overall.

My food was not cooked when I got it. They were not organized for out door seating. People and staff without masks walking inside where the washroom was. Disappointing.

Solid place. Have you lived your foodie life if you havent had pachos? I have memories back in the day when they still had a Surrey location. Food is good and atmosphere gives you that pub feel. Came for late night appy hour. Pachos, of course, mckraken rolls, deep fried pickles, all yum! If you're craving the pub fare, Kellys is your place.

My first experience was during COVID times and it was amazing! There was no indoor dining at the time as the pub responsibly adhered to public health orders. But our server Abbee and the rest of the staff were on top of it!

First time visiting. Had the Shepard's pie and it was delicious. Coffee was very good also. Staff was great. Good value for the money.

Excellent food, nice staff and pretty good ambience! I am new to town, only been here once and it is the best find so far! I am definitely going back to this place.

They gave a crammed booth at the far corner and I banged my head and knees trying to fit in to the bench. Gonna ask for a different seat next time.

Excellent pub fare. Our server (Tessa) was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. We don't go out much so receiving amazing service like this is always such a treat.

A favourite place to go while in New West, and as of very recently, this is one of the few restaurants operating during the 3rd wave of restrictions of this covid19 pandemic, thanks to their very large outside patio. The patio even has heaters for the comfort of the patrons. The food is usually pretty good, the potato skins are substantial and the pachos is always a crowd pleaser. One thing this restaurant does well is combining the pub style of Carlos O'Brian and the restaurant style of Kelly O'Bryan to allow its patrons the best of both worlds. There are some "elevated" dishes to enjoy, as well as your typical pub food which definitely hits the spot and goes well with a drink. Personally, my girlfriend and I enjoy coming during happy hour as the favourite menu items and drinks are discounted. When not coming for happy hour though, the prices can seem a little high. The service is always great, and having tried a different Kelly O'Brien's in Kelowna, this one has a totally different feel to it, but the staff are always friendly and helpful.the quality of the food matches well with the decor of the restaurant, giving it a comfortable Irish Pub feel. All and all, we will continue to return to this location.

The best Irish pub in the area! Pachos and ribs to die for. Good beer and amazing patio! My favourite is the blueberry tea and of course Tessa - the best waitress ever!

Birthday meal makes the trip worthwhile. ($20 off lunch, $30 off dinner). Will come back again.

The pajos were impressive. Prime rib was tender and cooked well.

My experience at the New Westminister Kelly O'Bryan was memorable. My wife and I went for lunch and everything was on point! The Calamari was the best I've had, the Prime Rib Yorkie couldn't have been better, the wings were nice and big and the service by our waiter Blair was prompt and he was very kind and gracious.

We will be regulars now!

Went to Kelly O, Bryan’s the other nite for dinner. First time in a pub since March and was not disappointed. Very busy pub but all Covid protocols were adhered to. Excellent selection of cocktails and beer including special mixes like Chelada. A nice addition. Started with the ribs and our main courses were the fish and chips and the beef dip. Loved the waffle fries. Shift manager Tess, and our server were great. Our new go to pub in New Westminster.

Our server was amazing. The food was saucy. Our drinks were on point. Overall experience was phenomenal. Kristina was excellent, she gave great drink recommendations. Will be back again.

(Been here 1 time, sat inside @ the bar) I am obliged to give an honest explanation of my personal experiance at any given place. The visit to this particular establishement has been the first time I've had difficulty leaving my review. Part of me wanted to give it a 5 but that was not possible.for ME. I believe the majority of ppl who give O'Bryan's a chance will have a 5 experiance. I however must admit that I went alone; altering the expected/imposed perception of the Kelly O'Bryan's experience. I often do things solo that the majority of ppl would never do alone, so I must concede that my experience is heavily weighted in an odd way that many folks will not see.
If you read all that then I suggest you stop thinking and start doing. Go, enjoy.

The prawns are absolutely to die for!

Went there on July 15th at around 4pm and ordered their ponchos and a milkshake.

The ponchos were delicious but the milkshake were horrible. The vanilla milkshake was just ice cold milk with chunks of shaved ice and no vanilla flavoring what so ever. What was even worse was my SO ordered a strawberry milkshake and theirs tasted just as bad!

Another thing that bothered me was once I sent the milkshake back (after we explained it was just ice milk with shards of ice and getting a reply of "yea. "), we finished our food and patiently waited for the waitress to come back.and she didn't. After waiting for almost a half an hour I had to go to the bar to pay my tab. Highly disappointed in the service that day (except for you bartender, you were super awesome!)
