Thursdays are free. What a beautiful blast. Always in awe of all these artists' individualistic art journeys. I love to soak up everything Art Galleries stands for. It's definitely the place to visit if not here for long! Right now, First Nations Dempsey Bob is the main gallery this month. Please go and support him and the gallery for many years to come. Look or even buy a piece of history. There's books, mini movies, and sculptures, and I heard a great Italian Cafe off of it. I will try one day but was highly recommended by a classy waiter.

On day 57 of our 10,000 miles North America road trip, we had the pleasure of visiting the Kelowna Art Gallery, right in the heart of Kelowna's Cultural District. The experience was nothing short of fantastic!
Not only does the gallery offer free entrance on Thursday until 8 pm, but it's also a hub of creativity. We explored the gallery's exhibitions, Classe for workshops, the attractive installations both outside and inside the building.
What truly stood out was the impeccable visitor support at the reception. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and ready to assist with any inquiries. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus.
The curatorial team was impressive, responding promptly to our questions and providing valuable insights.
As for pricing, it's very reasonable:
Students and Seniors: $6
Family: $14
Children under 12: FREE

The exhibits are small but tickets are inexpensive and there is a lovely collection. They also have a cute mini original art vending machine and courtyard with a sculpture photo op. I browsed leisurely and it took me about 1 hour to see the artworks.

Nice art gallery, there was a kids craft and drawing area were my girls had a lot of fun. There were interactive classes for kids where the instructor guided kids to make craft on there own to explore their creativity. Nicely located near walking distance of the waterfront park. Recommended to visit of you are in area. There is entry fee though 12ish$ for a family.

The facilities are wonderful but the art sucked. There were bare walls and the art in the community room was better. In Europe they have beautiful and interesting work. Here in Canada they seem more interested in teaching you about social issues and less about art. Hambleton Art Gallery had amazing art and it was free

The staff was rude beyond words. I was berated for entering with a coffee in my hand yet there is no signage indicating no food or drink.
The art was trash and not worth $7 per person. Hire some staff who make an attempt to be pleasant.
