Very poor customer service, couldn't tell if the driver spoke English or not but he couldn't of been bothered to communicate on any level. Very creepy.

The worst! I try to give everything and everyone 3 chances before cutting them off and the last strike has been used by this company. My drivers have been so rude and drove so fast like their lives depended on it. At the airport they “kindly” (they only do so because they know the airport staff is there) put my suitcase in the back but at my apartment they just open the back waiting for you to grab it yourself. The attitude they had while driving was so disrespectful. I didn’t understand what my drivers where muttering but I have a feeling they weren’t kind thoughts or words.
I also called in advance to get a ride to the airport and they just canceled my request 3 times! I decided to try Uber and of course they picked me up within 10 minutes. The Uber driver was very kind AND the drive was cheaper!
I’d highly recommend Uber and not this company at all. You’re better off walking to your destination… even if it’s to the airport with your luggage.

AVOID wasting your time with this company. I had called and arranged to have a Taxi. The driver called me once he had arrived to let me know he was there. I let them know I’ll be outside in a minute he said okay I’ll wait here. I get out there in under a minute and there is no taxi waiting. Attempted to call the number back multiple times to only be hung up on and to not get any sort of communication from this company again.

I ordered a cab on the app and then chose to pay the cabdriver with cash. The cabbie did not cancel the charge on the credit card, took the cash and the tip! I disputed it though visa and still no reversal or response. This is a complete ripoff! I’m removing the app and will never use the service again. Brutal!

I cannot give these guys enough stars, I was picking up my husband from the airport when our truck battery died, we decided to take a taxi but forgot the truck keys in our taxi, a driver from the company helped us drive all over hunting down the driver of the taxi with our missing keys, as we had no information on which taxi we took. He was calling so many other drivers to ask for help and was so patient and understanding with our situation. Long story short we ended up getting the keys thanks to our driver and a few of his coworkers, and they ended up boosting out truck for us also!
The people involved in helping us were so genuine and kind! We are betting grateful

Cab driver number 31 at 10: 30 am from the airport, berated my partner the entire ride after trying to refuse service as the destination wasn't far enough, person at the airport told this old lady she had to take my partner as it's the rules, the old lady driver proceeded to harass my partner the entire way to the university calling her a cheap b**ta*d and other mean things, swearing, telling her not to use kelowna cabs again etc, honestly absolutely disgusting behavior. No one paying for a service even for a short distance should be treated that way. This cab driver should lose her job for how rude and verbally abusive she was. Just like she said we won't be using this company ever again and I hope anyone else who sees this makes the smart choice and uses current taxi or another company before even considering getting into a yellow cab when they employ people like this. Reading other reviews this seems to be a frequent thing that happens and the fact its still happening on a fairly regular basis shows this company does not care at all for its customers. I will be filing a report with consumer protection B. C as reading other reviews this seems to happen way to often, people even being denied service and told to walk absolutely unacceptable.

Took a cab from the airport on December 29th and the cab driver went on his phone while driving, didn’t stop at a stop sign and didn’t signal going over 2 lanes to turn right. If you want a reliable and trustworthy cab to take you home, do not book or take one with this company.

I had a reservation to go to the airport for an International flight. 10 minutes past the time the driver called to say he would be another 40 minutes. I have been calling dispatch for 10 minutes with no answer.

This has happened before. Horrible service.

Ordered 4 cabs on Saturday Night after our company Christmas Party. I called in and ordered at 11: 15 pm and was told that it would be a 15 minute wait. We finally got a car there at 12: 30 am, never heard from the other 3 cars, I ended up driving the rest of the people home. I called their dispatch a few times to make sure that they are still sending the cars that I ordered.

It is a best cab ride, I used last time. I will recommend others to try their service. Thanks.

Refused ride from the airport at 2am because "it's not far enough you gonna walk there bruh". Well I know short rides aren't popular which is why I normally tip well. In Vancouver the driver would lose their license over this. Walking 2km with 4 bags in the snow was fun but I'd do it again rather than giving this company my business. My advise is to take an über, the service is way better.

I have not used this service and will NEVER, after our experience. We called New Years Eve and got the run around! First it took forever to get thru, which is understandable on New Years Eve.

When we finally got thru, we were told 10 minutes. After 1 hour we called in and we’re told we would get a call when they dispatched a taxi. We proceeded to wait another 45 minutes, and 0f course, NO Taxi! I called again and was told 1-2 hours!

Since it was now 2 hours, we thought a taxi would be here soon. No such luck! My quests had to drive after drinking! And they don’t allow Uber in Kelowna because?

If I could give a lesser review I would, the driver picked me up but refused to drive me through A&W a block away to get a late night dinner! The driver was thinking of the other 2AM trips. If you can; take a different taxi service with your interests in mind.

Quick pick up and 90% of the time they get out of the vehicle to help you with your groceries!

Horrible customer experience. I specifically asked for a van since I had 6 large suitcases and they insisted a regular cab will suffice. When I asked the lady I was speaking to she spoke to me rudely and said she’s been doing this job for 5-6 years. The cab was obviously too small for my bags and when I tried booking another cab they took 30 minutes to reach me.

I used this company to go to Big White. Despite exchanging phone numbers with the driver and setting a return time, he never showed up. There was no apology either. I think this is a terrible company.

Truly professional and courteous drivers. I may not get cut off often on my oversized, hard-to-stop work van, but when I do, it's a Kelowna Cab. Tonight was particularly interesting as a Kelowna Cab passed me (admittedly going about 75) like I am standing still in a 60 zone, in a fog, at night, in black ice conditions, with NO LIGHTS ON. True professional. At least he didn't cut me off!

Was my favorite taxi service but I just found out that my number was blocked/banned by the administrators without knowing, they're always on time or even earlier but this was a new low. I have reception problems in my area which I told them about and that's why I don't get the calls from them but oh well, very disappointed.

Unprofessional company with little concern for their social responsibility. A driver attempted to take me on a completely different route than what I had explained (I am a local). I would highly suggest using current taxi or any other form of transportation outside of this option.

Had a dentist appointment and my car was in the shop for repairs, so I needed a cab. I called at noon to order a ride for 3: 30. The cab showed up at house ten minutes later. I told the driver that I ordered the cab for 3: 30, not noon. The driver apologized and said that they'd send another one out for that time.
Fast forward to 3: 45 and there is nobody at my house. I called Kelowna Cabs to follow up. After nearly ten minutes on hold, I find out that my first cab was cancelled after the original driver showed up at the wrong time. They tell me that a cab can't pick me up until 4: 15, causing me to be late for my dentist appointment. I call my dentist to reschedule, since I will now be late and I'm informed that I will have a $95 cancellation charge for cancelling my dentist last minute?
None of this would have happened if my cab would have shown up on time, or if the original driver would have rescheduled my cab.

VERY unpleasant experience and I will not be using them again, and will be advising friends and family against them.

Taxi no. 55 nd the driver name is Guneet singh. One message for him never ever judge a person that he or she is student nd they will not gonna tip you. This incident happened wd me when i booked a cab and he arrived there and i said i be there in one minute but this driver without any reason cancel the trip and went other side of my provided location. Drivers like you just working for tip?
I called the Kelowna cab customer service but I swear thay did took any strict action towards it.

Just honked at a driver for going through a red light, taxi cab number 111. And after the red light he pulls over to give me a thumbs up. On a snowy day like this I really am not sure if he should be marking other drivers when he is the one breaking the law.

Your dispatcher, her name was megan, she is working today, very rude dnt know how to talk to customers, she is not doing any favour, we are paying for cab, really ridiculous …. But the driver was so good, he feel sorry to us

Not sure why this has so many bad reviews, I've never had an issue. In fact, I dropped my wallet on the way out of the cab and the driver came back next day to my house to hand deliver. Thank you

I took a cab this morning and even though my address was set clearly, the cab pulled up on the other side of the intersection. I tried waving them down and then ran over their way, but they cancelled my ride. I then ran a block after the car with my luggage trying to wave him down. He kept driving. I set the new address to where I ended up, and he drove right past me again. This was cab 202 for reference. I tried having a conversation with him, but he denied driving past me. Very frustrating experience.

Always quick for pickups very friendly drivers and they will usually ask if there's a preferred route you would like to take to your destination over all a great can company

I am not sure why they got only 2 stars. I downloaded their app, booked the taxi to pick us up, and they arrived 10 minutes early. The price was too inexpensive I thought, so left a good tip. At the end of our meal, booked to return trip, and they were at the restaurant in 10 to 15 minutes. The young man apparently forgot to program the car for the trip, so we got billed like $4.00 of for $12 tip, he did not have change, we just gave him a $20, as my wife said the money was more important to him than us. All and all, I would use this service again, it was a good as Uber or Lyft.

Had a driver refuse to give me change from a $50 on a $20 fare. He then complained that I needed a receipt and sat there doing nothing until I told him I’d call and complain to dispatch. Just booked a ride through the app and was matched with that same driver who cancelled on me. 23 minute wait so far for the next car. Awful customer service, unreliable drivers.

The great taxi service usually fairly quick and send me reasonably priced to take you from point A to point B Nice N Easy and depending on what time of the day not too long of a wait

Literally had to wait for 40 min to get a cab, when I was told 10-20 min. Then a cab arrived and just took another hotel guest that ordered a cab way after us through the concierge service. Turns out they respond faster to them than a private person.
Once finally picked up our cab driver had no idea where Tantalus vineyards were and needed instructions on where to go. Kelowna Cabs - do better!

In Kelowna for medical reasons, tried for 2 days to get a cab to go somewhere. The car that finally took us to a mall was great, on time & professional. (I regret not getting his car number because he was great & friendly) The cab back was a totally different story. Car 24 at first couldn't find us, 2 phone calls later he found us.meter was already running by the time we got in. Spent a lot of time texting someone while driving, almost sidestepped and ran a lady off the road on a curve. Kept lane-fading the entire trip.

Useless booked cab a day ahead as it was my daughters wedding never showed up phoned and they said they were sending but nothing dont ever use

One employee ruining it for all. Had experience with some awesome drivers with Kelowna Cabs. Not this time. I opted to cancel a ride after having a driver yell at me because he couldn’t find my location while also telling me multiple times he was at my location. When I informed him he was not in front of my location and gave him an address he continued to yell over me. I would not feel comfortable being in a cab with someone with a temper like that and wouldn’t support a driver as unprofessional as that. Called their dispatch to inform them. Didn’t do much to ease the experience.

Multiple close calls with drivers slamming on their brakes with no signal to make a turn. I honked onced and tried to pass only to have the driver then swing across to try to block me. Then follow me down the street to a red light where they tried to yell obscenities. Pulled an illegal U-turn in the middle of the road, then off to their destination. Boy do I feel sorry for the person who called them. I have never once had a good experience with yellow cabs while using their service or otherwise. I'd recommend taking current taxi

Called for a pickup service in Lake Country.was told at time of call that a car would be dispatched.after more than 30 minutes I called to check on status of my cab and was told no car had been dispatched as they had no driver in the area. This information should have been given to me at time of call. What a waste of time.

Constantly waiting longer than promised. Been hung up on more times than any ex boyfriend. I call back and they tell me they have no staff sure to covid. Time to try the second and third listings on the internet.

I ordered a prepaid taxi reservation through the application and was unable to track and did not see information for 20 Minutes, so I called customer service to inquire on times. A representative named Dave told me the taxi would be arriving in 10-15 minutes. After waiting over 20 minutes I called back and the representative was extremely rude and told me he could not guarantee a taxi or a time, despite us having prepaid the booking, and he then hung up on me. My friends then called back from her phone and the representatives were rude and hung up on her as well. I can understand it is busy but communication and positive customer service is important even during busy times.
Extremely disappointed in the service, will no longer be using this company.
