Sheen and Alisa explained everything during the before-exam testing and the doctor was very helpful with my concerns. I learned a lot about my eyes and vision issues when I asked Dr. Doug (I don't know how to spell his last name sorry) MANY questions. I am excited to get my new glasses! Dr. Hines is an exceptional optometrist. When all seemed lost, Dr. Hines magically picked up the phone on a Sunday prior to me leaving the country and made an appointment for me on the spot. Dr Hines urgent care and subsequent ongoing care for me prevented what would’ve have been permanent damage to my eye. I’m grateful for her care to me and highly recommend her.

I have always struggled with my eyes, and for the first time in 30 years, Dr. Hines and her staff took great care of me. Dr. Hines been the only optometrist across my life to diagnose and properly treat my farsightedness, helping immensely with eye fatigue and headaches and allowing me to pursue my reading-intensive graduate studies. She is knowledgeable, hardworking, and cares immensely about each patient.

I highly recommend Kelowna Optometry. Dr Hines is knowledgeable, compassionate and great with kids, my 5 year old says “ she makes me laugh and I like getting a sticker”.
