Kelowna Springs Golf Club

Avoid at all costs, there are much better managed courses in the Kelowna area.

We flew in from out of town and had booked a Tee Time over the phone two weeks prior. We had given a credit card number and an account was created in their system. When we called day off were told we did not have a Tee Time scheduled. We spent ~ 20 minutes on the phone with the pro shop and were told there was nothing they could do.

In the panic of having to schedule two groups at another course, Kelowna Springs called back 10 minutes later to inform us they had “mistyped the name” and squeezed us in. When pressured, the pro shop staff admitted they had to squeeze us in.

While we ended up playing here, I wish we hadn’t. There are much better managed courses in Kelowna that are better than this course.

Extremely disappointed in how Tracy manages this course. We had booked two tee times weeks in advance for a bachelor party and then was informed the day of that they couldn’t find it. They later found our booking after they realized that they had double booked the times. They luckily sorted things out in time for us to tee off but Tracy made our experience terrible. It was sad to see that several other staff on the course also thought he was difficult to deal with. We will never be returning and would warn against other groups coming here. If they know you are here from out of town, the course could not care less about you.

Booked and paid for carts but only received one. They said they can't forsee demand for carts on a 34° day. When you pre book with a cart you kind of expect to get one. The pro shop also told us to tee off and they would bring one to us but when we called they said no sorry you will have to walk the front. At that point we didn't even have pull carts.

Was told false information from the pro shop that we would be able to continue on the back nine, but then as we came through 9, we were not allowed to continue even though we had confirmed we could come in and pay the difference to continue… I understand we wouldn’t have been able to get in the full back nine, and that’s okay. We would have happily payed the difference to play just 3 or 4 holes. It was the way the worker handled it, was pretty disrespectful and our whole foursome was super upset and confused as to why we couldn’t pay to continue! Oh well… was a man in his mid 50s with glasses, very unprofessional.

Our group was not allowed the play to back nine with over 2 hours til sunset, after it was recommended to us that we pay for 9 holes and pay the rest at the turn. The older gentleman told us we would be able to play as many holes as possible before the sun set while checking in, however was disrespectful as we attempted to come in and pay for the back 9 telling us “we’re done for the day” and “maybe next time”

Great experience. The older gentlemen in the shop went out of his way to make us feel special for evening golf. Answered all our questions and treated us very well. Would definitely return. Thanks for a great experience
