The staff is friendly. Price is definitely friendly compare to other place. Parking can be challenging in that area as always. As long you managed your time shouldn't be a problem.

Food quality and quantity have both went down over the last while. Not as tasty as it once was. Portions are noticeably ALOT smaller. Prices have increased. Not as worth it as it used to be: (I think my giving 3 stars is generous.

2021: Great food, large portions, very low prices. Minus one star for customer service which is consistently awful, staff will walk away from you mid sentence, no manners or verbal exchange whatsoever.

Great (cash) value for classic favorites. Hot and fresh, the staff are friendly, the (long!) line moves fast and you get your large servings quickly. Excellent spot to get a big hot lunch ASAP

They were rude when I asked for no pork cause I’m Muslim also I found pork in my food when I only got chicken

Kent’s food was quick and fresh, you know the foods good when it’s busy, busy and line up is 5-10 people in every 30 mins. Busy lunch rush. Luncheon deli style. Where you stand and order from 30 different dishes and packed ready to go.

I never start my reviews about food with this statemen” It was terrible. ” but this time I would like to say it. I ordered noodles with fish, beef and an extra for mushroom. The fish had an unpleasant odor and taste that I took it out of my mouth and throw it away. The noodle were excessively greasy. I asked for mushroom but I received mushroom and pork. I never recommend this place to anyone.

This place has the atmosphere of a busy truckstop washroom but the food is way above average for the price which I think compares to something from the mid 90's. If you don't speak chinese it may be difficult to order in this fast pace cafeteria style take away.

Cheap prices compared to Chinese restaurants in Greater Vancouver areas. Deep Fried Chicken Wings & Drumettes, Yang Chow Fried Rice and Beef & Broccoli were really good Yang Chow Fried Rice doesn’t have Chinese BBQ Pork, substituted with bologna instead. Mango pudding was delicious and only $5.99 for a round container.

Went for lunch.no parking available.waited in line that goes out the door.np. $2 upcharge for items including beef/seafood.service was terrible.just alot of yelling and pointing.hard to communicate.language barrier for english speaking customers.food taste terrible.no flavour on any of the four items i tried.i would not go again nor recommend it.

Advertised as cheapest but NO! Watch the entrees, seafood is +$2-3. In the end almost $13 a meal, not $9,98. The food is to be expected. The staff are about the most un initiated I have ever seen. Ask for small, they play stupid and give you large. As for several 2 entrees plus rice, they scoop all the same food despite telling them different items. Mix up fried rice with steam rice. Ask for noodles and they give you steam rice. Servers busy talking and day dreaming. They move in first gear. Asking in Canto makes no difference. It is like they are house wives forced to work and not giving a flying F. Three times visiting, same BS service every time.
Save oneself the grief- try Lian Hong or Box Kitchen Express instead! T & T or Pricesmart Metrotown do give bigger portion but a bit more expensive.

I haven't been here for long time, today I happen around this area. Food is good as before, price is very reasonable, I order a box of pan fry sticky rice and a bake pork chop with fried rice. Both are under $10 plus tax. I end up need 2 meals per dish. I will go back again whenever I pass by that area.

This place has gone downhill. I used to go to the Chinatown location. Now that it's closed, went here and the portion sizes are pathetic! Mostly vegetables, onion, peppers, hardly any chicken meat and when I got the blackbean chicken, the chicken pieces are mostly bone with very little meat! The sweet & sour boneless pork, tiny pieces of fat and batter deep fried.

They give you a ton of rice so they can give less main topping.
And when they give it that, it's mostly onion and peppers!

Tried them twice in two weeks, not ever going back. Can get much better quality for price elsewhere like T&T and Pricesmart!

Excellent choice for takeout Chinese food! Reasonably priced, great tastes and nice portions!

Great value.my go to are the flat noodles and the honey garlic ribs.they always stuff the containers to the max

I love Kent's ever since but the we can't control the inflating price because every place, the prices have been increasing. I hate to see what used to be 6$ is now 11$. But I guess we can't blame anyone but just the economy. Their food has been consistent, cash only as well! They've been around for a long time and almost the same people who work here I saw five years ago are still around!

For years, Kents Kitchen has been my go-to spot for satisfying Chinese cuisine. They offer a diverse range of dishes to choose from, all of which are reasonably priced. What truly sets this place apart, however, are the generous portions. You can get a heaping box of delicious food for just $11. However, it is worth noting that parking can be quite the hassle at this location. Overall, Kents Kitchen is a great choice for those looking for tasty, affordable Chinese food with ample portions.

The cheapest Chinese takeout foods I've ever seen so far in Vancouver. Decent large portion. Two items with rice or noodles is about $7-8 dollars. But it's cash only! Still highly recommended this place.

Cash only. Park on the street and walk, don't even think about entering this parking lot with your car. You will be stuck for eternity. Great value for qty of food, recommend going early as they sell out of the good stuff by 5pm. Take out only. No bbq duck since covid: (

Great portion for price but come on who put chicken with BONE in Chinese takeout.
Staff is overwhelmed and it’s hard to order or talk to them
