I wanted to try authentic south Indian dishes

Loved it!
And that layered pratha was so tasty

and chicken spicy masala was delicious too

Ordered Masala dosa. The server brought lamb dosa (I am a vegetarian).
When I was just about to eat it and touched it, server found her mistake; grabbed it from me and gave to the customer who ordered it. But I had actually touched and opened it. How could she just serve that one?
Such a disgusting and unhygenic atmosphere.
I will never go back.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Kerala Kitchen. The food was excessively salty, and when I requested a replacement, the staff mentioned that another table had the same issue but didn't complain. The chef insisted the salt level was normal. The employees lacked maturity in handling the situation. Surprisingly, the manager offered to replace and provide alternative dishes only after we expressed our dissatisfaction and were about to leave. Overall, the lack of acknowledgment and initial reluctance to address the concern left a negative impression.

Yes I had this experience as well. The staff was rude when we said the food was not good. I thought it happened with me only.

Authentic Kerala food, i recently had food from Kerala kitchen and it was really awesome, its a must try and I will definitely come back.

First time at this place and wanted to try authentic South Indian food. Did not disappoint. Love the Lamb Masala Dosa and Chili Chicken!

ITS SO GOOD, I tried porotta, beef, kappa, vegetable curry and appam all these foods are so delicious and took me back to kerela

Food was good only problem was service there was only one staff we waited there almost one hours they should hire more staff

My family and I visited this restaurant on the weekend. The food was delicious: the south Indian curry with rice was sumptuous. Also the staff was understanding of our tastes and the spice level was maintained. There is a good sitting space and light music to add to the vibe

I loved having the option to eat actually Keralite food, the beef and lamb dishes were very tasty and they had breakfast classics like appam and puttu. So the food was awesome. However what threw my group off was the constant Punjabi music, it made the experience much less authentic and we're reminded of how minor our South Indian community is in comparison to the North Indian community here, to take whatever scraps we are given. The service was also surprisingly slow for small bread orders. There's a veg thali I'm excited to try that's available on weekends.

We ordered Masala dosa and sweet lassi. Both were delicious sweet lassi was served in large quantity not like other restaurants in a small glass and masala dosa was delicious too. We were full after just one dosa and sweet lassi each. Interior was really good.

Second time visiting this place & their Food quality and service has been consistent. Their dosa’s are very well flavored and they have a wide variety to choose from even non-veg options. Love their mango shake as it is thick a large portion. Only downside is that chutney portion for dosa is a bit small. Out of all dosa places in Surrey/Delta it’s the only one with decent service and it has nice interior with cool artwork.

Very disappointed. Especially as a person who frequents this place. Found hair in the take out I ordered from Kerala Kitchen through Skip the dishes. I tried contacting Skip about this and failed to get any response. When I contacted the owner, initially he decided to help under the assumption that I placed a direct order. When he learnt that I had placed an order through Skip, he said he couldn't do anything. Whether I placed an order through a third party or not, Kerala Kitchen did do the packing. Very disappointed by the lack of response from Skip and the way the restaurant decided to throw the blame at Skip and shirk off their responsibility. Wouldn't be visiting again.

Food was pretty good and service girl Mariya was very helpful.
We tried Mysore masala dosa, coffee, kerala combo, appam, chocolate and mango ice cream.

So glad we went here. Food was exceptional. Taste like real authentic Kerala food.great service and good ambiance

We went in on a Saturday since it was my mother's bday and ordered veg noodles, chicken biriyani and drinks. The veg noodles was old and had a foul smell and tasted bad. The portion of the chicken biriyani was too much and it also tasted old. We have had dosas before and it was good. We assumed that other dishes will be good too. However, we were disappointed. There was no floor manager and the inexperienced interns were trying hard to do everything well.

Kerala Kitchen used to be a place that never disappointed but that has changed in the last 1 year or so. Every time i visit, the quantity goes down and the price goes up. Disappointing! Only saving grace is the taste! I understand the price increase because of the inflation but please don’t skimp on the quantity

More than good authentic Kerala food which was indeed good, I was impressed with the management of the entire restaurant. Good and professional staff.

I would rather try all their varieties. Especially Kerala dishes that always make me feel happy and re-energize me after eating a heavy meal.

Hands down the best South indian (kerela food) that I've tasted. We don't get this kind of food in the US (atleast from where I am). The food taste was spot on. I returned the next day for puttu as I couldn't order it the previous day. Thank you so much for bringing Kerala cuisine to Surrey. I had a brief chat with the owner and requested if he could open another restaurant in the DMV area (DC Maryland VIrginia.) It was nice talking to you Sujit.

Had dosa, protta with chicken fry and lamb curry its osmm first time tried south indian. Delicious.
Service is excellent. Respectfull nd polite staff.
Recommended.

Paneer butter masala is a must tryyyyy tho!

During my first visit, I had a bad experience for the pick-up time as it was delayed.
I commented about it. The owner gave a justifiable reason. At a subsequent visit, I met the owner, and he briefed me the exact cause. I appreciate his understanding and the way he handles the customers.
Keep it up.

I'd give them 4 start but they messed up my order so taking one star away. The ambience is better than a hole in the wall, that it looks like from the outside. Staff was polite and were trying to do their best with the limited resources they had. One thing that I didn't like was the fact that we ordered food to be extra spicy but for some godforsaken reason they did the complete opposite. Our food was extremely bland when it came to flavour and spiciness. Baffled my mind that how come a restaurant is doing literally the opposite of what we specifically asked. What if you do that to a person with food allergies? All you're doing is setting yourself up for lawsuits.

The food was awesome! Like absolutely perfect and super authentic. But I’ve put 3 star solely because of 1 reason, the staff. There was a North Indian girl in the cash counter, she was acting like she’s the queen of the lot. I don’t know why she was showing so much attitude. And there was a Malayali girl who has no clue how to talk to people like she has zero respect. I was trying to be absolutely sweet asking questions to her, she was just purely being rude. They were playing such nice Malayalam songs first and then suddenly they started playing Punjabi songs out of no where. Not what’s expected in a “Kerala” restaurant, literally ruined the vibes. Well, the experience was terrible for me but atleast the food was worth it. We had traveled all the way from North Vancouver to have your food, I don’t think I’ll come back ever again. Good day:)
