Kesari Indian Sweets and Eats

Finally i got the best indian cuisines in white rock. Tried samosas, tikki chana, and the sweets were so delicious

I walked into store wondering people picking food. A lady (customer service) asked me if I needed help? She said they are all sweets. There are NO prices for each items. She told me sold by pound and price from $9.00 to $15.00. The first item she picked for me and said $13.00 a pound. Final total I paid $15.00 for 16 small pieces of sweet. I feel like a man priced was not honest after I got home and counted the sweets! A little piece costs a dollar!

Charging $13.99 for vegetarian dish (aloo puri) yet does not come with any sides (no yogurt achar). Size of aloo is so small that was not enough to have 2 puris with it. If you are charging large dish price then should also provide enough quantity. Attaching size of the aloo that came with it.

This is the best authentic Indian bakery! Friendly helpful staff. Everything is delightful you can't go wrong. I just pick a box size and get one of each until it's full! Very good price. If I lived here I'd go every day.

The sweets they make are so delicious and unique. The only place that I will eat Indian sweets. I have had lunch there and that has been good too.

I ordered appies for pick up, to serve to guests. I first thought the price was outrageous but was hopeful that the food would be great. However, very disappointed. The veggies pakoras tasted like dry fried mounds of salt. No veggies really in them, just batter, and sooo salty and not edible, just gross and sorry to be harsh. I should have just made my own as serving the food to guests was embarrassing. And really feel the price point is robbery. Crazy pricing because not many Indian places in this area. Samosas were not good at all either. Would never order here again and advise others against ordering here. Drive out further, do not stop at this place.

Great, flavourful, wholesome, home-like food. The quantity was also generous. They also have a mouth watering variety of sweets that are good in taste. Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly. This is going to be our go to joint. Looking forward to our next visit!

I did dine couple times here. Food was so yummy. Environment was soothing and staff was awesome. I highly recommend this restaurant. My family like it so much. Thank you to staff for their great service and hardworking.

Unfriendly staff. They used to display the per pound prices of the sweets, not anymore. I paid for a 1 lb of sweets and I got less than that, including the weight of the box…I won’t go back to this place for sure.

Food is always hot and ready when stated. The large sized mains are good for 2-3 people. Family enjoyed it as per usual.

Absolutely love their bikaneri barfi. It is a must try! Their shop is always clean and they have a large variety of sweets!

Bought some samosas and veggie pakoras from kesari. The pakoras were mostly flour and hard. Samosas weren’t that good either for the price they charge. Will not go back

First time visiting. Great food, great service.but the negative is that they prefer gangster Punjabi music.so will not be going there again!

Amazing Indian Food, Kids loved the paranthas. Wide range of sweets as well. Felt like Punjab. Definitely visiting again.

Delicious food and cozy ambience. We ordered the tandoori half chicken. It was mouthwatering. So glad to have this Indian sweet shop/restaurant in the Whiterock/South Surrey area.

Anything that comes in a pink box will be good
Kesari is one of my favorite sweet stores in Vancouver area. We tried some of the classic Indian sweets from this place and they tasted just as they would at home. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Loved their cute pink boxes!

One of the best Indian restaurants I have tried in Surrey, this is our only go to place when my wife and I have Indian food craving. Well done guys!

Average food. Almost tasteless i would say.i could taste the old oil used in almost everything i ordered. The portions are good and more than enough for two people to eat but its just the quality of food is very bad. Staff was really polite. Maybe going to be my first and last visit.

Hubby and I took our moms to Kesari for Mother's Day lunch. We had made reservations and were promptly seated at a table by the window. The food arrived at our table piping hot. Every dish were ordered was tasty and authentic. Our only complaint was that the chairs were hard, especially for those with not much padding on their butts.

Your food was ok it means that gravy of butter chicken was really sweet and I really dint liked it rest everything was good. Just add some of spice or some flavours. I have tasted many of butter chicken gravy’s but it was sweet. Your food and package rest was good. Awsome. Thanks

I ordered aloo parantha, aloo tikkis, anda bhurji and gulab jamun. I must say that the food taste is below average.
Too pricy for food that is so average in taste. Very disappointed.

I loved the food and the sizes of the dishes. The guy who took my order was super nice explaining and suggesting me what to choose since I am new trying Indian food. I went with my exhusbad who visited my daughter from Mexico and it was his first time with Indian food and he just loved it. I definitely we will back!

Used to like them a lot so much that I used to take detour to get it from their shop.but today was a very bad experience. I specifically asked if the sweets are fresh or not and when I taste it, it was soggy mix of lumps in place of jalebis.would think twice before heading that way again.

We had Chana Bhatura and Chana Puri yesterday. It was very delicious. Loved it. Definitely go and try.
Hasn’t tried anything else but. Chana Bhattura was amazing.

Yuck. Waste of money. The food is not authentic. Goat curry had 90% bones in it. Hardly any meat. Goat curry was like goat bones dunked in tomato paste. Veg manchurian was no good either. Weird batter balls again dunked in tomato sauce with a few bell peppers. Chicken tikka felt like rotten meat marinated in red colour and a few spices. Would never recommend this restaurant. Pulao rice was yellow coloured rice with partially steamed green peas. Tasted awful. Don’t go there for Indian food. Waste of money and time.

As an huge lover of Indian cuisine from my life in Britain, i can say Kesari has been a revelation in flavors and quality. Definitely my go too for fantastic food

Very disappointed by the service I got at this place during my last visit. Ordered 5 things from the menu. We didn’t like one of the items & tried to return that one item but there was substantial resistance & bad attitude regarding it. Felt very let down with how they handled the situation. Hoping they improve their service but not planning to revisit anytime soon.

The food is good, and plentiful. But some of the dishes aren't as good as they could be (the pakora) and also they don't have some dishes we really like. There are not many Indian restaurants in the White Rock area however, so if you're craving Indian, this definitely does hit the spot!

We just finished eating our dinner delivery just now. Butter chicken and lamb korma were very tasty and delicious. Actually, everything was excellent. Kesari is now one of our favorite Indian restaurants. We've tried several of the indian places over the past 4 years and this is one of the better ones. Our family agrees that will be coming back to Kesari again soon.

It was our first visit to Kesari. We had a amazing experience. The food is really tasty. We have tasted many restaurants over different provinces, this food is really delicious! We ordered Garlic Naan, Butter Naan and missi Roti.they very really very soft and melt in mouth. My parents with dentures were able to enjoy the food without any problem. The Shahi Paneer is to die for! We celebrated my mother’s 70th birthday and they were kind enough to keep our store bought cake and serve it at the end!
Definitely will be going back repeatedly to try out their other foods!

If I could give a negative rating I would have given a …. (-5). I had worst butter chicken ever it was totally tasteless.very disappointed
