We love eating here with our kids. They have such great options and the service is always good. Great specials. Excellent wings, we also love their dog friendly patio in the summer. Perfect neighbourhood spot!

Call ahead for a table for 4 on the patio and notified them when we arrived. They said they would be out in a few minutes to serve us. 15mins later still nothing. If you don't have a server for the patio, please tell us so we don't have to sit there and look stupid. But the pizza place next door is willing to serve you real quick.

I went there with my husband Great experience! Food was so delicious. Nice and clean environment. We loved it. Highly recommended. Will be back.

My husband and I are often seen in Public on Main enjoying the fish and chips on a Friday evening. Their portion sizes are very generous and the prices are very reasonable.
I also like the ginger chicken rice bowl and have enjoyed at least two of the burgers they have on offer.
Public on Main is a family friendly small restaurant located in the Upper Mission (Kettle Vally village centre). The staff are always welcoming and friendly.
There is a lovely little patio for fair weather dining and comfortable seating inside.
We have visited as a couple mostly but they have also been very accommodating with our occasional larger party bookings, the last one being for 13 people.
Only negative for me is that they are not open for lunch as they open at 4pm each day, however they do open earlier on Sundays for brunch and this is also great value and delicious food.

Do not come here for wings. Overcooked, small, dry, lacking in seasoning, over priced. There are better places in Penticton.

Good atmosphere, cozy place, very nice personnel, good service, nice food, the only minus is french fries it was very soft and looked not very good. But that was the only minus. Thank you, we were satisfied.

We tried this pub for the first time the other day and were very happy with the service, food and prices! A great little pub to check out in the Kettle Valley.

We were visiting some wineries in the area and decided to have a decent amount of food for a reasonable price (the wineries have ridiculous portions and very few options…) and honestly this place hit the spot. The portions were great and everything tasted amazing, the nachos were so so so good!

Great food, great atmosphere, great staff, and great beer! Just visiting Kelowna for a night and ribs and craft beer were perfect for me, everyone had an awesome meal and a smile on the way out!

Finally this little neighbourhood pub is in good hands! It has been through several incarnations over the years and now is a delightful spot to go for Happy Hour. We have been 4 times recently. Sitting on the patio is very pleasant and it is easy to carry on a conversation without a lot of background noise. Our fave menu items are the Buffalo Blue Cheese Burger, Sweet Chili Crispy Chicken Wrap, Waffle Fries.and of course the Happy Hour libations!

I went here with 4 of my friends.food SUPER bland and unseasoned.lasagna was 90% oil.steamed vegetables had no salt or pepper.perogies and fries were straight from the freezer.spring rolls had no flavor.would NOT recommend this restaurant unless you have the taste buds of a toddler.

I usually prefer not to leave bad reviews but my experience here was truly terrible. My party signed in and were told by our server to grab a table outside as the inside was full. No problem. Waited about 45 minutes with no sign of our server.
Went in to double check that they were still offering service and we could still get food, by this point it was maybe 8: 45 and the place is open until 11.
Took another half hour to receive water and a menu.
The table next to us had someone seated there who worked at the place and they turned on their umbrella light as it had gotten dark and rainy by this point. We followed suit so at least we weren't sitting in the dark any more.
That table eventually moved inside as it started raining quite a lot and had gotten dark. Closing the doors behind them and leaving my party in the rain, still no food and no server.
After receiving one drink and waiting another 20 minutes with no sign of food I went in to ask for our food to go so we could start walking home.
Another 20 minutes later the to go containers are brought to our table. The server asked if we want anything else. Yes, the bill (which one might infer from the requested to-go food).
Waited another 15/20 minutes to pay and leave.
Two hours of sitting in the rain, to receive a couple of cold chicken wraps and one drink. The food was not worth the price or the wait.
I will pay to take a cab to somewhere that offers service and avoid this place in future.

This is a great place for dinner or afternoon drinks on the patio. The food is always good and the nachos and the french fries are the best! Glad to have this gem in our neighbourhood.

Was there a couple weeks ago. Food came fast. The food was not hot, like it had been sitting on a counter for 30 minutes. Surprisingly one deep fried pickle was hot the rest were room temp. French fries the same. Steak was done but cold in middle. Pasta was warm on top, cold in middle. Told waitress, she just said oh OK I'll mention it.
We won't be going back. Service and food no good.

New to the area so thought we would try the Sunday brunch. Wife had the French toast and said it was probably the best French toast she’s ever had! I had bacon and eggs. The eggs were done to perfection and the hash browns were amazing! Will be back for sure!

Every single thing about this place was UNBELIEVABLE! The service, the food, the atmosphere. All of it. Would give 10 stars I'd we could.

Food was pretty good, a bit pricey, but nice portions. What is really lacking is the choice of craft beer. This place would be busy every night of the week with some good kelowna craft beer staples and a rotating tap. Barn owl and dunenzies are always packed, and this is part of the reason.

Pub On Main is definitely a gem in the heart of Kettle Valley. The food and menu selection is amazing. Wonderful, friendly service. The decor is beautiful. Most importantly during these difficult times they are going above and beyond to ensure safety not only for all the patrons but for the employees as well. Highly recommend.

We went for a visit to check it out - we had missed the Grand Opening.

We enjoy coming here weekly and it's usually great but was disappointing tonight. The kitchen messed up my meal 3 times but service from Jana saved the experience. She really went above and beyond in dealing with both us and a visibly annoyed cook. She's definitely an asset to the team.

I am new to the area but very quickly this has become my fav place to meet and take guests. I have had numerous business lunches there consistently good food with great value and awesome service. We love supporting local and family run business in this great neighborhood.

Would be great to have a local beer selection, but the food is really good and half price bottles of wine (with Okanagan options) on Thursdays is a really good deal!

Sitting on patio there are 3 other tables and they are all getting service by 2 different servers I have been sitting at my table with a empty beer bottle for over 20 min and still either server has even looked at me I WILL NOT COME HERE AGAIN

Because this restaurant is in our neighbourhood and a lovely walk, we have given them more chances then we ever would any other
Unfortunately the service we have received 8 out of 10 times has left us extremely dissatisfied. We've constantly waited far to long for everything from our drinks, to the so so food & often have had to ask more than once for the bill. They’ve made us feel forgotten about, even when there have been (many times) only a handful of tables filled.

There are too many restaurants in Kelowna to ever put ourselves through this again

This place is absolutely terrible, service was below subpar and I ended up paying $20 for two beers. Would go the extra 5 minutes down the road for the same $4 beer any day.

Great service but the food was only alright. Especially in the heart of the Okanagan with so many craft breweries around they could use a better beer selection. Definitely get the borscht, most of the other items ordered were fairly flavorless.

The atmosphere was great though. Cozy lighting and decor and a friendly, casual local vibe to it. Beautiful building.
