KFC

They should close down. KFC have been going downhill for a while. Cheaped us on our order. Food was cold and the gravy was like water and no taste. Need I say more

Food reviews aren't normally my thing but I love me some KFC, Sometimes it's crispy and delicious but occasionally is soggy and depressing this location needs to up their game. Don't be shy and tell the employees they need to do just that, check your meal before you pay for it and comment on their service.you are the customer after all.

This kfc location is by far the worst I have ever been to! The quality of the food is beyond terrible! Smallest peices of chicken ever, and so greasy! The restaurant is dirty, and the staff are rude, and do not give good customer service what do ever! I will literally drive to courtney Popeyes from now on when I want fried chicken. Kfc Campbell River will never have my business again, and there are many people who feel the same way!

Had to wait 30 minutes for brown lettuce, congealed mayonnaise and day old fries. Told me to wait in the parking lot but never actually put my order through. Had to go in and remind them. They also entered the order in incorrectly.

Won’t answer phone, had to drive down. Gave me wrong sauce and they put disgusting seasoning on their fries now no one in my house could eat it. Wouldn’t give me a sandwich for the trouble. Found out they only have bbq sauce now.

The chicken was okay and the fries too but the table and the seats as well as the floor were dirty and it smelled weird.

The service was ok but that's it. A 4 piece big box meal with a gravy.lid wasn't closed so gravy everywhere and gave me 2 wings for the white meat pieces, at $18 all in this is unacceptable. This is the last time I come here.

I was disappointed when I went to try my used to be old faithful"big crunch combo" and learned its half the size now and more expensive. Lee's is #1 now!

They fry PLANT BASED SANDWICH in same oil they fry chicken. NO VEGAN OR VEGETARIAN PERSON CAN EAT THERE AND TRUST THEM. The front staff told me because I am Sikh and do not eat non vegetarian diet that yes they fry them together, thank you for his honesty and respect towards me but its not appropriate to lie to your customers. In eyes of KFC they use different oil for chicken and plant based but in reality they cook them together and if anyone is religious or have medical issues with NON- VEGETARIAN please be away from this chain.

Dear diary of dining disasters,

As a connoisseur of fast food, I've been through the drive-thru gauntlet enough times to have developed a certain zen-like acceptance of its quirks and inconsistencies. However, my experience at this particular establishment was akin to a culinary car crash in slow motion - a debacle that couldn't have been more disastrous if the Hamburglar himself had taken over the kitchen.

My saga began at 8: 30 pm, a time when the establishment was allegedly still open. However, the logic-defying decision to lock the front doors half an hour prior might lead one to believe they'd accidentally stumbled into a scene from a low-budget horror movie rather than a fast food outlet. I didn't realize I needed a time machine to get dinner.

The first sign of impending doom was when my humble request for a Twister wrap was met with the reluctance of a sloth on a lazy Sunday. Apparently, the deep fryer was too much of a logistical nightmare for the kitchen staff to handle at this hour. I'd hate to be a burden on their languid lifestyle, but would it be too much to ask for my food to be, well, cooked?

The saga continued when my consolation fries arrived. To call them 'cold' would be a compliment; they had the temperature and texture of ice cubes delicately dusted in salt. I half-expected to see a penguin waddle out from the back with my order.

After a 15-minute wait that felt like an eternity in a dystopian time warp, my sandwich finally arrived, generously slathered with more mayo than a Miracle Whip commercial. There was more chicken on a vegan's plate than in that thing. It was like someone had mistaken the mayo tub for a culinary canvas, and my sandwich was their abstract masterpiece.

And napkins? Forget about it! Apparently, they're on the endangered species list here, or perhaps they're being held hostage in the locked part of the store. Either way, it's clear that cleanliness isn't exactly a priority.

To sum it all up, this establishment seems to be in a unique time zone where closing time is a fluid concept, customer service is a myth, and temperatures are more suited for a winter in Antarctica. If I could give it less than one star, I'd be googling "how to award negative stars on reviews" right now. Save yourself the hassle and find a place where the staff doesn't treat the deep fryer like it's a dragon they're too scared to wake.

A Very Disappointed Customer

This is my last time for KFC in Campbell River I dont know how they cooked the chicken but it wasnt KFC and I have been going there for 50 years.

Last time we ordered a large popcorn chicken (which we love), the box was only half full. We order a large cole slaw and only got 3/4 container. They raised the prices and give you less. I don't mind the increase but I want my moneys worth. Also I do not like the tip option on the debt machine. We like the chicken, fries and cole slaw but we feel we are getting ripped off.

Gotta love that gravy. The poutine is awesome. The chicken is always the best. Unfortunately, their hours seem to be very sporadic and living outside of town you never know if they’re going to be open. Posted hours on Google or Siri don’t correspond with actual hours so it’s always a gamble. Lucky there is a Wendy’s next door to take my money and pretty darn good too.
