KFC

Took 10 minutes to make the food and it was terrible and now I have food poisoning the next day. Service was terrible too they barely spoke English, go figure.

I ordered on Door Dash and the portions were very small, 6 pieces of burnt, dry and the smallest pieces. 2 wings, a drumstick, a back and 2 thighs. The salad was maybe 4 bites. Pathetic for $50. I do not recommend. My phone call to the store to complain was a waste of time.

The food was super yummy… the service was slow but amazing…. My complaint and worry is that the 3-4 workers were working in 30 degree temperatures without air conditioning. I was able to spot one small fan blowing hot air at the workers working in a very hot kitchen… I feel like that is very wrong. At least 20 people came in to order in the 15 minutes we were there, I’m sure a company this big can afford to take care of their workers and make sure said workers are comfortable well making this company a lot of money. The poor employees were run ragged (and did a fantastic job) in boiling temperatures, I’m shocked that no one dropped to the floor with heat exhaustion! Not happy to see employees treated this easy at all! It’s unfair and cruel.

Not dumping on the Ladysmith KFC, I am dumping on the new fries. Not sure why KFC made such a big deal over their fries, they weren't anything special but they were edible, unlike their new fries, which are not. Just had some, they are dry, tasteless except for the weird and unpleasant seasoning they now put on them, which is sort of sweet and just plain wrong. We actually threw out fries, which simply does not happen in our house. But nobody would eat them.
I am just hoping I can maybe order fries without the seasoning, and with copious amounts of ketchup and vinegar I may be able to eat them.

This place must be Under New Management it's a thousand times better than it used to be

They run out of types of chicken: popcorn, Tenders, chicken Patties an hour before closing and don't cook anymore, has happenedmultiple times now. Each order takes over 10 minutes. Recently it has been a big waste of time.

Not the kfc we remember. Staff pleasant. Very difficult to get door dash to deliver although claimed it could. Probable not kfc fault.

The advertisement says double mayo, I’m curious to what double mayo is to them! The fact that I can’t upload pictures to show says a lot about this restaurant in general lol. Waste of money

The chicken was horrible it had been fried in unfiltered oil and kept in the warmer way too long. The fries were cold. The gravy was like water with no taste. Won't be going back

Never open even though website says they are. Tried several times and always something, staff shortages, and last time no hot water. No answering machine. Ridiculous and predick will not last much longer unless drastic measures taken to smarten up.

I didn’t know the twister was only chicken and lettuce in a wrap, way too expensive.
Spicy chicken slider wasn’t spicy.
Waited a long time but I feel bad for the 3 people working, must not have the best manager.

This location should be taken back by the franchisee how does a chicken restaurant run out chicken? Their hours are so inconsistent and you never know if they are open or not. The last time I had their chicken it was burnt and dried out and the gravy was basically coloured water. If I could give it negative stars I would. This has been going on way too long. People of Ladysmith deserve better. It is obvious that the franchisee does not care or do any inspections.

Food was as you would expect from any KFC but the reason for one star is that my 7 year old daughter needed to use the bathroom and they wouldn't let her. We were paying customers, on a road trip to Victoria, and all they could say was the bathrooms were closed. So we went to the place next door and they were nice enough to let us use their washroom even though we didn't purchase anything from them. I get we couldn't dine in at KFC, we didn't want to anyway, but not letting a little girl use the bathroom was out of order!

Waited 20 minutes for my 8P Extra Crispy Meal. I have to say that this absolutely worth my wait! The chicken is crispy outside and tender& juicy inside. The flavor is perfect and the chicken is so fresh! Just as it advertises, it’s finger licking good! This is the most delicious crispy chicken I’ve ever had!

Thanks for the hardworking staffs who made this possible. Like many restaurants, I know they are short staffed. Working in the food and services industry is not easy, I do hope people could be more understanding to this industry. Perhaps going there joining the team rather than just making complains.

My partner and I decided to give this a try despite the bad reviews. We went inside and ordered. The service was friendly and the food was quite good. It didn't take too long either. We were pleased with our visit!

Worst drive thru in general. Not just kfc. But of any restaurant always closed and finally its open no chicken buckets just sandwiches.

Staff where super nice and the food was fresh and made quick! Picked up a bucket will be back!

For real, avoid this KFC at all costs.

I think bad ownership is probably why this is the worst KFC on planet earth, but I can't be sure.

What I am sure of is there is no leadership, the employees aren't trained appropriately and some seem to wander aimlessly around the kitchen while customers both in-store and in drive through become increasingly incensed at waiting for 45 mins for a their food.
