Worst KFC I've ever had not crispy at all more soggy lacks flavor seems undercooked like it was a rush job barely battered should be ashamed to call itself KFC don't know why they closed the downtown location was much better Even their popcorn chicken is spongy and soft lacks the crunch it's supposed to have

Just Worst.taste of food. Felt like dying after eating the food. The food tasted like ocean water. Just toooooo salty. Too salty means tooooooo salty.

KFC offered buy one, get one free for buckets of chicken for black Friday. I tried to order in person and they told me it only worked for online orders. I tried to order online and that didn't work because of an error on their end. Then, I spoke to the manager, showed him that the online ordering process doesn't work and he told me there's nothing he could do

Tells us it’s a 12 minute wait for chicken ended up waiting 30 minutes to not even really hot food and forgets our sides and our food was a waste of our time to wait for and quite rude workers and the one in the back just stares out looking at people not doing much.

Put a sign up when your taco bell is closed. Really annoying to sit in the drive through to constantly find out it's closed. WHY.

Terrible service forgot half our 60$ order had to go back 3x to get the rest. EVERYTHING WAS ICE COLD! Rude staff

Once again they messed up the order and gave attitude when we went back I'm to get them to fix it. They also took our order and completely for got about us this time. Get it together!

Service is terrible at this location. Slow, disorganized, dirty. Forgot to make my order, no one cleaning tables in the 45minutes I was there despite not being busy and having 4+ people hanging out on the back.

We were there around 12 p.m, the counter was messy, debit receipts scattered on the counter and hanging out of the machine. We placed our order, paid with debit, the cashier didn’t look impressed because we didn’t hit the button for leave a tip (since when do you tip for fast food). While we waited we noticed unclean tables, baby chairs that had broken bottoms and stained black on them. We brought our food home, the chicken was overcooked, dark brown and dry meat inside, fries and gravy were horrible, coleslaw and macaroni salad had square carrots in them (just like frozen veggies). I would have expected the food to be fresh as there was only two customers in there. We will never go back and definitely won’t recommend KFC to anyone!

Stopped in for a quick meal before my son's footbal game tonight, and man, I can't tell you how bad it was.

First, we ordered, and while we were waiting, there was some sort of confrontation between a manager and a doordash (or some such) driver that involved swearing and made us feel a little uncomfortable.

After we eventually got our food after about half an hour, the fries were stone cold, the sandwiches were absolutely floating in mayo, the buns were squished and looked like they'd been stepped on, and the chicken was absolutely vile. I mean, it was cold, chewy like rubber, and absolutely disgusting. Of the three of us that ordered, not one of us could finish the food. Most of it ended up in the garbage, and what we did ear caused severe gastrointestinal distress in 2 out of the three.

I'm writing this review primarily so I can use it to remind myself to never set foot in this place again. It was one of the worst "fast food" experiences we've ever had. Spend 45 bucks to feed the garbage can in front of their store. Blech.

Been here a few times and it's gone from bad to worse. Today I was in line 25 minutes before ordering and there were ONLY 2 vehicles ahead of me! Won't be back.

Terrible service never answer the drive through workers seem rude past few times my wings have been burn and dry

I went there today to get some lunch. First place I went was the washroom, which was so dirty I was afraid to touch anything. Coming out of the washroom, I had a look around and the order counter and floors were filthy too. It was only 11.no lunch rush yet. I left without ordering and will not be back.

Took our order and then they just forgot about it. Wondering why other people got their order before me. I ask again then they just realize and start preparing them. What kind of service is this? Very disappointed.

Worst KFC meal I've had EVER and here is why.
1- website mentions there is extra crispy, the location doesn't have it
2- they didn't have spicy chicken as well (huh?)
3- eventually ordered famous chicken meal- the chicken was not freshly done and reheated, I know when the chicken is freshly made and my sandwich wasn't fresh
4- the upsize fries is the same size as small
5- Baja Blast fountain is in the kitchen, not in an accessible place when you can see it
6- asked for a honey mustard sauce for my chicken popcorn and the server said they ran out of it "the order before me got his HM sauce from another server" so I was like unless the order before me took the last one I think you didnt check well and guess what! They had it and he gave me the sauce then when I was leaving he said something to his colleague in another language. It could've been nothing but it felt like it was directed towards me.

Menus should be updated accordingly to reflect what's in KFC, staff needs more training and location needs to be managed differently

Consistently terrible service. Every 6 months or so I think I'm in the mood for greasy chicken. This time, placed an order online at 6: 30 (website said closes at 8pm) drove for 30 Montoya to go pick it up. Place was literally closed. They said they close at 7 and it's not their problem. I'm still waiting for my money back. Terrible service. Just awful.

Zero stars. We stopped in from out of town the doors were locked during hours of operation and the lady who came out was obnoxiously rude. We wanted a family bucket why would we go through the drive through to be waiting hours due to the multiple car line up already. Anyways we ended up leaving. Spend your money else where.

Good service and get your order right! Just one thing they need to season their gravy haha all in all great though

The dine-in was closed. Chairs up on tables, lights off. Long line up for take out. Is this permanent?

Zero stars. I have been unable to get any service the last 3 times I tried. I live on a Gulf Island so when I go to Nanaimo I usually buy lunch. I went to KFC in early February and sat in the drivethru - alone - for over 10 minutes and no one acknowledged i was there so I left. The next 2 times, there were milk crates blocking the drive thru and the doors were locked- at 1: 30 in the afternoon.
Don't waste your time

Poor slow service. Dry overly salty chicken. Staff will argue with you if they mess up your order.

If I could give them zero stars I would. 40 minutes in drive thru line only to have them forget to put parts of your order in the bag. Then when you go back you have to go sit in a drive thru line again to get those missing items. The chicken is gross now and the fries are soggy and cold. Save your money and time and go to a different chicken restaurant.

Store hours on the door don't match website.
Zero service when they are supposed to be open.

Worst kfc ever! They closed the shop for takeaways and only way to pick up is via drive through! By the time you get to collect your food its all cold and hard! Never coming here again!

Here's an updated hours schedule. As of Nov. 7. They must have no staff to be closing for these hours.

Ridiculous. Again. No ketchup with fries and NO napkins. Pretty basic addition. Not available to request this basic items on-line. Painful and so easy to avoid customer issues. No more KFC from Nanaimo EVER AGAIN.

Don't waste your time here anymore. The quality is garbage, the manager/owner is rude as well to the employees. The chicken [if you want to call it that) is grease bone and skin. The gravy is watered down and the salads have no flavour. The fries are terrible. You would almost think you had covid after eating here. Waited in the drive-thru for 20 minutes and the worker came out and shut down the line up almost 2 hours before posted closing hours. I've honestly never had so many disappointments with this location. We decided to try a new place Mary Browns tonight which is 50 KM round trip for us and I can safely say that KFC has lost a 30 year customer.

Chicken is still great, but they are understtaffed and only have the drive-through open.

Please continue to be kind to the workers there!

My order was made quick on a hot summer day. Props. I asked for cutlery to go as I was moving and they threw in some paper plates! 5*

Store closes as per management teams discretion. 9pm one day, 7pm the next. Can’t count on timings. The chicken was good though but can’t remember when it was open last.

This location is terrible they will mess up your order then argue with you about it and they won't give you utensils to eat your poutine with then tell you you should have asked for one and will refuse to do anything to make it right. Don't give theese people your business. Also most of their staff just quit all at once. I think that says it all right there. This place is awful!

Do not order online from these people! They are thieves. I placed a $45 order last night and got nothing. I phoned them after an hour and was assured the order would go out right away. An hour later, nothing and they had taken their phone of the hook. I phoned the 1-866 number and was told the store would call me back. They did not. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

This is the worst place to buy food from.we ordered 3 meals through Skip The Dishes, the chicken in two sandwiches was burnt dark brown, and the poutine had a bad smell. This place should be band from operating.they are not operating by the healthstandars

This KFC has gone downhill. Very dry old chicken. Fries were under cooked. Gravy was watery. The only thing that was good was how fast it was ready, but there was only one person in front of me. I won't be going there again. I will drive to Ladysmith if I want K F C again. I used to work for KFC years ago and I know what the product is supposed to be like. That chicken should have been tossed over a hour ago.

The girl at the till seemed very uninterested in being there and seemed very snotty. She was a poor representation for the company.

After a few years not indulging some KFC I bought a bucket today. Unfortunately it has changed. Totally different taste.no longer a coating of those “special” spices. It was more like shake and bake.only fried with a pourable layer of oil at the bottom of my bucket and chicken so oil saturated that the coating was falling off. The chicken itself was extremely dry.even with all that oil. Go figure.
I guess it will be many years before I think if indulging again if at all.

It's a rare thing that I endeavor the ol' KFC, but I just did, and halfway through eating a Big Crunch, I found that I was chewing into rubbery, uncooked meat. See the picture, it is clearly cooked on the outside and not in the center. I brought it in and showed the manager. To my surprise he actually argued that it was in fact cooked and would not refund my money. He suggested that it was maybe the mayo that made it seem raw. After telling him that I had taken pictures and a video of it, he issued a refund and made me a new sandwich.

Thanks/insert the thermometer all the way. And don't argue when ya messed up.

Good owners. They made a mistake, a big mistake on my order. I got home and discovered it, drove back, and they promptly fixed it. Also, way too much staff on shift so good for him keeping people working when he's not earning enough to do so. So go drop by!

Love KFC, if you want chicken this is the place to go, their chicken spices are the best, love the new chicken burger

I drove from the other side of town to go here. I asked for all white 10 pc. They told me they could give me mostly white.
When I got home there were 7 dark pics they forgot my Pepsi and the chicken was burnt! When I tried to call they just don't answer their phone. I will never go here again.

Terrible place, called them about my issue just to be told I'm wrong even though I order the same order. I've ordered here alot and the quality varies. Usually its terrible and sometimes its moderate quality. Gravy is watery 90% of the time. I used to like kfc but after a continued bad encounter with this restaurant I'm switching to lees chicken. Very rude people.

It was a 30 bucket went three drive had to turn around cause they didn't even give us are chicken. Slow Down it could have been away better experience.

Don't order online and pick up, there is no difference than going in and ordering and if you are short food like I was they will do nothing to help you but give you phone numbers that you will be on hold FOREVER

VILE, vile and ultra VILE! If one is so "drunk hungry" then possibly it would not matter that the food is so stale and old. For those looking for some FRESH, old fashioned Southern cooking. This would not be the place to go. However, if you are looking for the cure for Covid-19 in the back of the fridge or freezer of this establishment you may jolly well strike it lucky. VILE, UNHYGENIC and COLD. UGH!

The girl on the intercom was rude. They forgot to add fries to my meal. But that's ok, there were 29 napkins in the bag to make up for the lack of fries.
Worst KFC on the Island.

Do yourself a huge favour and just do not go here. You will be dissatisfied. Disgusting. Two shreds of lettuce and five tablespoons of mayo in the Big Crunch. Old buns and hard chicken. Who ever works there is going no where in life. Enjoy failing at everything.

Came on time, however.
Second time in 2 months though chicken is over cooked and not drained enough of oil. Fix it up as the taste is not very good and takes away from KFC

Normally great service. Last order I made was not great was missing lots of items as well as food was cold and looked like it had been smashed. Tried to call them for 2 weeks no answer.

They forgot the top half of my bun and my pop was only 3/4 full. The stuff do not care at this location

Paid for all white meat, got all chicken wings, ridiculous! Where’s the breasts and ribs. In an 8 piece bucket all white does not mean 8 wings.

I just came by KFC all the way 40 kms far and I got such pathetic food with oil dripping from the chicken and most of the chicken having no seasoning on it. The chicken was not strained it well from the fryer. I couldn’t believe the bucket was filled 1/2 cm oil from the bottom. If you cannot serve good food you don’t have any right to say you make good food.

Did not get my order right no fork fries or sause.

Awful location. Not clean, unfriendly service, no care or attention put into prep - avoid this KFC (I'd rather go to the one kn the mall across the road).

Not good service. They don't pay attention of keeping it clean in the kitchen and the restaurant.

Avoid this location. The food is greasy and made with NO love at all. The management must be awful because the staff is clearly unhappy. Go elsewhere for KFC. The coronal must be spinning in his grave. SMH

Fast and friendly. Surprisingly calm and organized for the only KFC outside of the mall. Keep up the good work!

Ordered food at 2: 30pm never received any of it At 7pm finally had the restaurant answer my calls. Manager is rude.

Food presentation was poor, I ordered the crunch burger and it was very sloppy, the sauce wasn't spread, the lettuce was minimal and just sloppy is how I would describe it. Chicken was Fresh and Hot.
The lady taking Orders Was very rude to my children and I. She gave me rude attitude and was short with me. She was fine dealing with other customers yet when it was my turn she walked away from the till, made me wait 10 minutes to order and came back very rude.

First off no need to phone them they don't answer. Second the chicken is usually good however last night it was aweful over cooked to the point it was so dry you couldn't eat it a complete waste of thirty dollars. One more try and if standards don't improve then that's it for me.

What happened, KFC?

I have fond memories of Kentucky Fried Chicken from my youth, granted: I lived in the Maritimes on the East Coast of Canada, whether that has an effect on the quality. I'm not sure.

But this particular time at KFC has been nothing short of disappointing, and unsanitary.

The chicken was overcooked, the gravy: bland, and the fries.meh. Just overall saddening.

In addition, one of the cooks working in the back; full face of facial hair, and long hair did not have a hair meet for either hair excess.don't be surprised if you find hair in your food.
