Kibo Japanese Grill & Cafe

The "seafood" upon had 1.shrimp, 1.prawn and a clam. The noodles were soggy. Salmon sashimi was so small. The veggie don in my combo was cold and raw. Never ever again will I waste $70 in your restaurant

Food is good at home. I take it home and enjoy it. A bit pricey but nice once in awhile. Portions are a bit smaller than id like.

Typical Japanese food for a Western customer base. You won't be surprised either way good or bad.

Portions were very small and the food quality was bad. They use $1 instant noodles and a few vegetables in the Miso ramen; no meat or bamboo shhots. The lunch box had just 3 slivers of chicken, 4 small pieces of california roll and some salad that had gone bad. And expensive. Worst small town Japanese food I've ever had. I do not understand why this restaurant has good reviews.

We had lunch here on Saturday and everything was delicious. The food was very good. The extra hot pork was exceptionally good for my partner. The rolls were very good. I had a dynamite roll and an Alaska roll. Both were fresh and tasty. We would definitely come again when we are back in Hope.

The people working there are friendly. The food is always delicious. They also have the largest Christmas cactus I've ever seen.

We were just passing through hope and stopped for dinner. Kibo had some of the best prawn tempura and flavourful salmon sashimi I’ve ever had. The monkey brain sushi roll (not actually monkey brains) was a delicious and unique roll. Highly recommend this place to all Japanese cuisine and sushi lovers.

Amazing! We ordered the Unagi Don, Sushi Special, Shrimp Tempura, and a few other dishes. It was all fantastic, perfectly prepared, and fast as well.

We stop at Kibo every time we drive through Hope, and it never disappoints. The Happy Boat is one deliciius course after another, expertly put together. Highly recommended!

Very disappointing lately. Used to be very high quality food coming home with me. Now it just seems thrown together and over priced. I have had my fair share of veg roll but NEVER have I had one with lettuce not good.

This is the best food in Hope. We got stuck in Abbotsford because of some gang shooting and then multiple accidents so we ended up having lunch at Kibo. It's humble but delicious. We had the chicken wings, tofu and some salmon Maki.

Good food. Longer wait times for food, but it's popular. Too bad they don't have done in, but the patio is available.

I always have friendly service when I visit. It's my go to place whenever my daughter stays at a friend's for the night.:) Food is yummy and I love their dinner special for one. Has everything I need.

This is the best place for Japanese food. I specifically loved the prawn and vegetable tempura. It did not taste greasy.
The staff were outstanding, they did not crumble under stressful conditions (short staffed) and made each customer feel important.

First time visit! The little deck outside was nice and peacefull, with a nice breeze on a hot day like today. Dragon Roll was delicious, and can't wait to go back! Super friendly service!
