Kicking Horse Ford Sales and Service

I have had an overheating problem in my Prius. I have taken it to 5 other auto repair shops in the past 6 months, including a Toyota dealer. All 5 times the shops charged me for parts and labor and said "the overheating issue was fixed". None of these 5 failed attempts were successful.

I took the Prius into Kicking Horse Ford. They gave me a nice loaner car while I waited for the part to come in and the repair to be completed. Super convenient for me.

These people at this Service Department (including the mechanics) are very, very busy with repair orders. Stacks and stacks of orders.

They not only completed my repair a week earlier than I thought. But for the first time in 6 months my Prius runs like normal without me worrying the engine is about to blow up! Amazing magic.

The mechanic/technician even took the time in their busy schedule to show me my old water pump to show how it was damaged.

In these times of bleak customer care Kicking Horse Ford’s service Department and mechanics/technicians are exceptional.

Just stopped in from Sherwood Park Alberta to see this small Ford dealership and see that they have the coolest front license plate for their dealership. I went in to ask how much for one because I was impressed with it and they simply without hesitation handed me one. I was fully expecting to pay for one, but they smiled and said "glad you like it and have a great day". Damn, If I could I would have bought the F-150 Platinum off them just for being nice! Was fun and thank you Kicking Horse Ford!

I’ve owned 3 new vehicles in my life and 2 I’ve bought from this dealership and I cannot recommend them enough! Andy was our sales rep this time and took so much time working with us for weeks to find the perfect truck (even on her days off), and right at the last minute found us an even better truck/deal than we came for! We left with a brand new F150 and could not have been happier with the entire process! Terry made trading in our car super easy and gave us a deal we were super happy with, Robin is a financing guru and had us in and out so quick with the payment plan we were hoping for, and Andy made sure to take great of us and everything else, truck was delivered on time, full of gas, and spotless! Was looking at a used vehicle and the service lady was outstanding.when I called and explained situation she was very forthcoming in giving her opinion on the vehicle I was asking about.she gave e both good and bad things about it to look for.very honest.would buy from here should Finance ever allow.

In October 2020 I was contacted by Dan the dealer principal of the Golden Ford dealership. He requested my involvement in an Automotive Consulting matter. He came recommended to me from a previous satisfied client and I agreed to help him with the assignment which overall took about 45 days. He and his wife provided very detailed financial information well presented along with historical and future plans for the dealership in the Golden area. I have been involved as a consultant solely in the Auto sector for over 17 years and their level of professionalism was outstanding and their ability to provide specific details almost instantly followed up by written detail was very prompt.
It is evident with this quality of being a people person along with a strong understanding of the automotive business made my assignment a truly pleasing experience to complete. I found nothing negative in their handling of customers, staffing or their manufacturer and suppliers. I wish them continued success in their dealership business.

I brought my GMC truck to Kicking Horse Ford this morning after driving it several hundred kilometers with a growling sound and vibration. They weren't sure they would be able to have a look at it today but they got it in and found the wheel bearing gone, replaced it and had it back to me late afternoon. It's hard to believe how smooth my truck is running! I very much appreciate them working on my vehicle and getting me back on the road. I thought it might be days before I got back on the road back home. Great service, friendly people!

5 stars all the way. I have done business with these guys/gals for 15 years now. Never disappointed, small town, friendly sales and service cannot be beat!

I had my vehicle in twice now, for a wheel bearing replacement, and today for an oil change, and both times were a 5 star experience! Everyone there was very nice, the service was exceptional, and so was the quality of work, and at a very reasonable cost! I will definitely return there for any other work on my vehicle, and would highly recommend anyone to go there for a painless friendly and affordable experience! After reading the review prior that was void of fact or detail, the owners response was spot on and valid! I highly recommend this dealership!

This little dealership only cares about the money and NOT customer satisfaction or appreciation. I’ve never received such poor treatment until I arrived at Kicking Horse Ford, even dishonesty when discussing financial matters. I’m so disappointed.

I would never! Recommend this dealership. Save yourself the hassle, save yourself the rude “I don’t have time for this” attitude, and do yourself a favour! Go elsewhere! You will be treated better and most likely actually made to feel like a unique customer, with a unique experience, who matters!

People can make all the difference this morning I had been checking out various websites for a replacement for my dead car battery unfortunately I found that with most auto parts stores that unless you have specific details and can come up with specific part number's you are going to waste your time going through a long convoluted search listings every thing in their catalog but what your looking for. But there are bright lights on the horizon, such as the young lady behind the parts counter at Kicking Horse FORD here in GOLDEN even though they didn't have what I needed in stock she helped me find what I needed and saved me a lot of time by her efforts this why businesses in our town are successful it's because of the people who go that extra distance to make the difference that really counts.

Came in for a wheel bearing, while taking the brakes off one of their technicien broke a bolt on my caliper, they made me pay for a new caliper and the labour to replace it. Very disapointed. Dont go there. They will brake something on your car and make you pay for it.
