Kids Market, Granville Island

Located on popular Granville Island, my nephews and nieces loved this market. It’s full of kid stores from toys to candy and has a play area too! It can get crowded but good at entertaining kids for awhile.

The Santa here is amazing. He does a storytime and sings songs. He tells jokes. He lets the children come to him and treats them all so special. Best Santa in town by a mile.

There’s a little arcade inside. You have to get a playing card and it only takes cash. Some nice man and his family were exiting and they gave us their card. We were able to play for 30 minutes. Sometimes people are nice!

What a great way for kids to feel big! I loved that a girl greeted me right away and proudly showed me everything she made. Building solid work ethic at a young age.

This place is great to visit with kids - they have millions of small shops, and the play area 'Adventure zone' for getting fun with folks and enjoying bday parties.

It is full of products for children, and there is also a children's amusement park, but in addition to the children here, there are also markets and shops for young people to browse around!

Map much fun for both kids and adults. Books and games galore with a chance to buy clothes for children of all ages. Some of the clothes looked so cute and fun it was hard to resist buying some. They also have a big play area for kids to climb and crawl around in

This is a nice little place to take the kids for quick fun. There is no much activities for the kids, and a lot of the games werr broken.
The place also has several shops that catters to the kids

It was great. Everyone had fun at my granddaughters birthday party. The staff was very helpful. The birthday party room was nice and bright and clean. They even had a cool cage to keep the kiddies in. Lol the only issue was too many kids there. Bhahaha I will go back another day.

Such a unique experience where I was able (and encouraged) to unleash my inner child! Lots of things to do for children an adults alike!

I was looking through their selections of legos and this one worker helped me find everything I was looking for.

It's still worth a visit, but to be honest it's getting a little tiredexpensive. The jungle gym did look to be updated, somewhat recently, but the arcade needs some love. That said, the kids market will always have special place in my heart

A fun little market to bring your kids with tons of toy stores for the kids. With an arcade upstairs, you can really entertain the kiddos.

While I was talking to a receptionist at Kids Market hair salon, my 7 years old was entertaining herself at the neighbouring tricks store (sorry, don't remember the name). The sweet older salesperson showed her few toys. I really loved their interaction, all about amusing a child, nothing obnoxious like "need-to-make-s-sale" attitude. We ended up buying a trick "disappearing content" box and she was supplied with some candies to use for the tricks. Very nice experience:)

Nice inside paid playground and arcade in the second floor, note you need a lot of tickets to win a good prize, min 450, also there are several kids shops in the ground floor.

Unique experience for the children. Neat books, clothes and toys to browse, though a little on the pricier side as expected in a market.

This place was great. Small shops with many family friendly items. Indoor play park with a cost but seems well worth it also nice gaming area with arcade games. Atm on site and coffee shop cafe. The outside is a wonderful place to sit and relax. Definitely was worth my time and only wish i had more time to enjoy. When i visit Vancouver next this is a pkace i will return with my family

Great place to go on a rainy day but needs some upgrading. Really good shops for kids and great place to buy shoes.

Cute place. Has an indoor play center and an arcade. Lots of children's items to buy and look through at the shops. This time of year Santa visits! Check their calendar for his visit times!

Granville Island is always a lively place. Kids Market has many toy stores and a play area that kids can easily stay and enjoy for a couple of hours.

Watch out for seagulls with an appetite. They dive bomb if you have food in your hand. Otherwise a great artisan experience.

It is nice to see that these old games and rides can still get our son that excited. He had a blast and got some fun after a couple of days touring around Vancouver like a champ!

Granville Island Market had always been a wholesome and unique experience and has forever filled me with wonder and awe and not a little bit of the child inside me. Amazing and unique stores, artists, vistas, and food.

A fun place for children of all ages looking for rides and thrills with merry go round and horse riding and racing car driving

So many cute specialty shops. Great play place that has only one entrance/exit that is watched carefully by staff.

What a great place for kids (and adults too) I worked here as a teen in the 90's and it's just as whimsical now as it was then.

As a kid I hated visiting the type of glorified tourist shopping malls that grown ups seem to love so much. So now that I have kids of my own I really appreciates the kids market and Granville island. It's a fairly large subsection of the mall devoted to toy stores and arcade (both vr and traditional). My 4 year old was thrilled at getting to drive a bumper car for the first time on his own. Great playground outside (bring swim suits for the kids)!

Too many kids in there, was hard to navigate around. Lots of stores though with a lot of variety of items to buy.

One of my favorite parts of Granville. My kids spent time here playing and I checked out the toy stores!

So many great toy stores in one location. They also have an upstairs play area for the kids to blow off some steam.

The Kids Market is always fun to walk around in. The stores are amazing. Two of my faves are Panda House which as you can imagine has a lot of panada merchandise in it.all very cute! The next shop I LOVE is Kites and Puppets store. If you like puppets this is a wonderland! My girls and I have the greatest time trying all the puppets on the racks. Lots of fun and interesting toys as well. The glass elevator is fun for young and old. Also the arcade is very fun for kids to play and win tickets to buy prizes.although the games are a little pricier starting at $. 50. The whole market is quite fun to putter around in spend an hour or two.

Fun place to spend the afternoon in. There's an arcade and play area on the second floor. The souvenir stores are overpriced. You can find most of the items at your local toy store. Short walk from the main market.

Its a kids market, with lots of fun stores for educational toys, games, models, electronics, books, stuffed animals, kites clothing and shoe stores and everything else for kids age 1 - 12 mostly. A fun little arcade upstairs is sort-of maintained. Eat elsewhere. Parking can be a challenge. On a warm day the pond and parks out back are great to explore as is the nearby ourdoor free kids waterpark.

Great selection of toys good customer service excellent vibe, you must come by to the unique store called My Toy store highly recommended.
