Dr. Diedo and his team are the absolute best. I have two little boys- one of which is highly sensitive. We had a couple of failed experiences with non-pediatric dentists prior, and then were referred here and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. The entire experience from the waiting room, to the admin team, to the hygienist, and Dr. Diedo himself is so wonderful. The relief this brings as a parent is just huge. I cannot recommend Dr. Diedo and his whole team enough.

I am so pleased with all of the staff and Dr. Diedo. They are extremely kind, patient, and give the best level of care! I recommend them to everyone! I am so happy I found this clinic! Dr. Diedo diagnosed issues with both of my kids that my previous Dentist had not noticed! I am beyond thankful!

Disclaimer: This review is only for financial side of treatment. I am not reviewing actual dental work. I did the cleaning here for my kids, and it was ok.

My daughter was scheduled for the treatment under general anesthesia. She had a Healthy Kids BC insurance coverage, for around $1800 remaining. The estimate I received from this clinic showed that the full treatment will be covered by the insurance, and I would pay $0 out of pocket.

However, unfortunately, before the appointment came up, the insurance coverage has stopped because, due to Healthy Kids program eligibility.

Even though that put a bit financial pressure on our family, I was ready to proceed with the dental appointment and pay $1800 out of pocket. But when I received a new estimate for the same appointment, I was shocked to see the estimate rise to $4100, for the same treatment plan. I am not sure how this could be even possible.

Basically, what it means is the total treatment price changes if you pay out of pocket, vs if the insurance covers it. Same treatment might cost you 2-2.5 times more out of pocket than it would cost the insurance company to cover it.

I ended up cancelling the appointment and went on with another clinic.

Always an exceptional experience for me and my little one Dr Diedo is always professional and approachable. I also commend the front desk team, Ms. Audrey and esp to Ms. Lanie for a very awesome job cleaning my son’s ‘teethlings’.

Informative, answered all my questions and gave answers that covered all avenues of choice in raising my daughter. Personable and efficient. My daughter has been here twice and she is almost 3, she feels very comfortable with everyone. The waiting area is calm, yet has toys and books to play with and 1 section has cartoons, while another has just an aquarium on the TV, while I prefer no screens, I feel they try to keep a space available for everyone with various lifestyle practices.

Great experience for my 4 year old at Kidsteeth. They have all the tactics to make sure the children cooperate and great advice for parents too on how to improve your kids teeth health. Definitely returning!

We always have amazing service by the friendly staff at Kidsteeth. They are welcoming and attentive. The Dr.is friendly and actually takes the time to listen to concerns, not dismissive, doesn’t rush through consults/visits.

The front end staff are very thorough when explaining all your child’s concerns, procedures, and post care needs. The staff is great with kids and take the extra effort to talk them through the process to ensure their safety and comfort. Both of my kids were afraid and anxious for their appointments, but the team helped them feel comfortable.:)

Always such a nice experience, the team at Kids Teeth are kind and supportive. Our regular dentist was great, but going somewhere that specializes in littles and children a world of difference. Definitely would recommend.

My husband took our youngest girl to see Dr. D he was great with her and my husband said it was a great first experience they where very accommodating and made our daughter feel very comfortable.

We had our third visit last month (April 2022) and were truly disappointed with that visit. We had arrived a few minutes before our appointment time and waited 15mins before we were called in. The dental hygienist then proceeded to show my 3.5yr old child the tools she was about to use for his first cleaning. She spoke very fast and seemed to have 'rushed' through it. Being 3.5yrs (and at his first cleaning), my son didn't fully grasp how he was to close his mouth for the water to be sucked out, which the hygienist used the term 'kiss'. When the water started to pool inside his mouth and he started to choke, I tried to gently explain/teach him what to do in our native language in hopes to facilitate the process. The hygienist was very impatient and sternly told me to sit back down. Of course, the experience didn't go very well and my child got very upset (he was tearing up by the end of it, but he is quite mature for his age so didn't make much of a scene).

Upon reviewing the chart notes, the hygienist also mentioned that they had made an exception for allowing me to accompany my son into the room on our precious and current visit as 'he was scared to go in alone' last time (this was during covid where everyone was masked up and he had just turned 3yrs). When I inquired about why such young children are to go in without a parent, she responded that it is to foster independence. My kids started attending daycare at 15months so I do agree that it's important to instill independence in children. However, I disagree that the dental office is the place to do that, especially for a toddler who has no recollection of visiting the dentist as an infant. In my opinion, fostering trust should come before fostering independence in a medical facility. I also did not feel empowered to help with my child's teeth cleaning at home, but instead felt discouraged/defeated as she only commented on all of the things we had 'failed' to do. She was very condescending and unwelcoming throughout the appointment and made my child very scared. He is now afraid to return again and I am also very hesitant to return as well.

We did spend about 10-15mins with Dr. Diedo towards the end and that was the best part of the appointment. He was friendly, professional, and thorough. Two stars are for the Dr. Perhaps the hygienist was having a bad day, as our experience with the previous two visits were better. I had really hoped to stay with this office for both of my kids, but am definitely reconsidering that.

Had a great first experience at Kidsteeth today! Front staff was friendly and provided a great customer service experience. The dental assistant & the dentist was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and was very informative which I truly appreciate. Definitely recommend coming here to for your little ones:)

We are very grateful to the entire team that worked with our child. High level of the treatment, attentive and sensitive attitude. We are very happy and lucky to have such a wonderful dental clinic!

Unfortunate experience. When booking my appointment I confirmed multiple times that the visit would be covered. She told me YES. I show up with my son. He sees a thorough and informative dentist. I head to the front and she actually charges me first (I'm used to being charged first and then the insurance reimburses me) and THEN tells me it's NOT covered! I almost feel like the business scammed me. I told her she said it was covered and she suggested I call the insurance company. I will be reporting them to the BBB. The dentist was great unfortunately.

Addendum: Actually, I told the receptionist, upon booking, the exact date that I had been at another dentist previously and she said that it would be no problem.

I went to another dentist who was incredibly more expensive with a subpar attitude. Dr Millenaar was absolutely incredible. He even called in the evening to see how my son was doing. Cannot recommend enough!

Took my 3 year old here for his first dentist visit and it was a total success! My son left the appointment feeling happy and like it was a fun, cool place to visit! Dr. Diedo and the team are so friendly and wonderful! I want to thank them for making my sons first experience such a positive and fun one! We are looking forward to a second visit in 6 months!:)

Our 3 year old had her very first appointment today! After searching and readings soooo many different reviews on different places, we decided to try Kidsteeth. And I am so glad we did! The office is bright and welcoming and clean and following Covid guidelines. The awesome staff were all so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Diedo is absolutely amazing! He was so great with our little girl (who is terrified of many new things and people) He provided me with clear details and information and I definitely learned a few new things today too!
I love that Dr. Diedo and his staff genuinely care for their little patients.

I can definitely say this is the best dentist to take your kids to. It's the first dentist my son actually wants to go to. Dr. Diedo is very knowledgeable, explains things so clearly, and is fantastic with kids. If only I was younger I would come here myself. The staff is great and is always willing to go the extra mile to help the kids out and make them feel comfortable. I can't recommend kidsteeth more.

Dr. Dido is amazing. I trust my children with him, no questions. We drive from Vancouver out to Coquitlam just to see him. My younger son just had two teeth extracted today, and his older sibling was reassuring him that Dr. Dido was the best and he had nothing to worry about (they had the same procedure done 2 years ago). He always calls that night to check on the kids and loves to explain, if the kids are interested, anything they want to know about. The rest of the staff are super helpful and friendly and help put the kids at ease as well. Can’t recommend Dr. Dido enough!

After his first visit to the dentist, it was determined that our 2 year old son had to have some serious work done on his front teeth. It was quite stressful for us since he had to undergo sedation and we didn't know what the outcome would be but Dr. Diedo and the staff at Kidsteeth were very knowledgeable and amazing through the whole process. We felt well informed and prepared for the procedure and it went better than we could have hoped. The reception staff are so sweet and patient with our calls and Dr. Diedo took the time to follow up with us and check on our son after our appointment. Definitely recommend!

Awesome experience here! Staff were so sweet and kind to my baby/toddler. They are extremely understanding and create an environment for the kids to explore and not feel like you need to “behave” like a doctors office. It’s bright/cheery, and so are the staff. Dentist is also really to the point and gentle with the kiddo. I’d recommend completely, especially if you don’t want to go to a place that don’t understand toddler and kids can be a handful when going to dentist etc. Recommend!

Our 3, active boys have been seeing Dr. Dido since they were babies (10 years now)! We’ve moved out of the province for 3 years and when we returned to live in BC again last July, 2019, we went to his old practice and saw a different dentist and didn’t like the atmosphere of the front desk at all!

After the 2nd visit, I’ve made up my mind to take our boys back to see Dr. Dido! Just like old times, the staff were great at the front desk like always, and seeing Dr. Dido, was a bonus!

The atmosphere was warm, inviting & clean. We felt “at home” right away, like we’ve never left them!

In any place of a business, it’s the WHOLE package of the TEAM, that makes the place that much more enjoyable for any guest to visit.

Dr. Dido & his staff, have so much experience & patience of making our boys feel safe, relaxed & comfortable! They love it there! Being a mom of 3, energetic boys, this is the kind of atmosphere I’d feel relaxed in. They’ve gained lifelong patients & friends!?

Amazing staff and great patient care, dr.diedo was ok giving a try to do my 4 year old son teeth at office as opposed to general anesthesia, and he was very patient with my son and he got his teeth done, and my son loved dr. Diedo and the staff were very very friendly, not to mention their kid friendly clinic and my son loves to go there now. Highly recommend

Very friendly staff. My daughter is terrified of dental and dr.offices but the dr. And staff were so nice to her that she let the dr.do a full examination and a fluoride brush for her. Definitely recommend this place.

We have been here twice for dental procedure for my son! The first time everything went smooth, the dentist was really great! He explained everything made sure my son was feeling better before we left! No complaints at all!

Today was our second appointment I am really disappointed at the dental assistants on how they handled every thing! First of all when my son was crying in pain They kept trying to convince him he doesn’t feel any pain. I mean he is 5 and how are we supposed to determine if he is in pain or not! Secondly I came in rushing from work, they wanted me to pay before I could even see my son.

I understand why and everything because they tried to explain! But I am really disappointed at how they handled things today! I have no complaints with the dentist or the dental procedure. Just wish they handle situations like these better in future!

My youngest son went to Kidsteeth for his first checkup today and did an amazing job thanks to the awesome staff! We first were referred to a specialist for my older son and I loved it from the first appointment I changed to this office.

The ladies there are so loving and patient and REALLY know how to work with kids. Dr Diedo is hands down the best dentist, he is professional but also so personable that you know he cares. He tells you everything in detail and explain further why it’s necessary.

I’m so happy I started bringing my children here. As a mom of 2 young boys you’re always wanting the best for your kids and I’m so happy I feel cared for and know my children are in good, no great hands.

Dr. Dido is awesome - he makes kids comfortable and they don't have fear of coming back. Everyone is really friendly with kids and parents and you quicky get connected to staff who will do whatever is needed to ensure that kids have positive experience at the dental office.

My son had his first set of fillings and the staff was amazing through the entire process, from diagnosis and booking through to treatment and follow up!

Dr. Diedo was fantastic! He did a follow up call at 8 pm to ensure that our child is doing okay after the procedure.

Great advice on thumb sucking and tips on what is good for the teeth. Definitely going to be coming back for all her further dentist visits! My little girl hit her front teeth this morning and injured her top gums. I called Kidsteeth office and asked if they could see my daughter ASAP and on a short notice. Without hesitation they scheduled us in for the morning.

When you first arrive you get welcomed by an awesome and clean children friendly waiting area.

All the dental assistants were very friendly, understanding and excellent with kids! They were extraordinary!

The doctor checked my little one, explained the treatment in detail and was very informative; which is so great because you can see he actually cares and wants you, the parent, to give your kid the best dental care (I really appreciate it when Dr.take their time to explain treatments and injuries).

She’s my first and I personally have not had great experiences with dentists in my life, but these guys completely exceeded my expectations. I cannot stress how good they were!

We went here for our infant son's first dentist visit, and we could not be happier with the level of care and service provided. All of the staff were amazing and the office had plenty of toys and books to keep our little guy busy. We look forward to bringing our son here for years to come.

Everything about this office is amazing. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and very kid centred. The staff are professional, understanding and caring. My toddler had two cavities filled and they were wonderful with him. They treated him lovingly and with respect and they made his early dental experiences positive ones.
