Killarney Park

Everything is here. Community center. Track. Field. Lots of parking. It's a great park in the middle of the busy city.

Nice walking park. There's the community centre with an indoor pool. Been there a few times and it's got some decent crowd that visits there. It's family recommended.

Coming from SF, seeing how big parks are in British Columbia is awesome.

Every neighborhood has a park and rec centre.

Great place for families to visit. This pool is spacious and looks quite new. There's a men's, women's and universal change room and the facility is well maintained. My kids love the lazy river and how warm the water is, and I enjoy soaking in the hot tub.

Lots of grassy area to play games and frisbee with mature trees all around and some along the shaded pathway. Found a quiet shady spot to do my exercises and relax in the heat. The park surrounds the Killarney Community Center. Not sure if they have independent park toilet facilities. I didn't see flowerbeds or gardens but it's a great play area to run off some steam.

Spacious park with lots of green grass and trees; also have a running track, outdoor tennis courts, expanded seniors housing, community center, swimming pool, fitness center, ice rink, highschool attached to this park. Covid protocols in place, so not sure if the community center is open or not.

Love the multi-use purpose of this facility! The field has recently been properly drained; the track is in good shape; lots of fitness people, runners, walkers, soccer players, NA football players, basketball players, tennis players.the Community Centre is top notch too.the only complaint might be the horrible tennis courts! Great if you want to chew up your shoes, tennis balls, strings in 1/4 the time! Haven't been resurfaced since.well, since the school was built over 50 years ago! Wouldn't even park my car on it, it's so rough! C'mon School Board v. Parks Board - do a quick "Rock, Paper, Scissors" to find who repairs the courts, and do it! Why not both? The community would love you even more.

Its okay they could do more to make it more child friendly the playground needs some work and it falls apart

Mostly centered around the Community / Sports center. Has a running track, multiple sports fields, off leash dog park, and a small play area.

One of the safer secondary school tracks to go at nite, big lights plus the surrounding bust intersection traffic.

Loses a star for uneven patches on the north west corner.

Awesome place. I grew up here. Family oriented and friendly. Good place to walk your dog or jog, or do Tai Chi in the morning when it's quiet. After it rains, the field doesn't drain well on the south west baseball diamond.
There are no groups of intimidating youngsters. Everyone is responsible.

Went with my friend for homework. Nice place but felt crowded. The community workers are friendly. Long line ups and the pool always have a lot of small kids swimming there. Should have another community center near by to space out the population

I love coming out to speak walks with my own family and simply take in how lovely of a network that park is. The amazing network center is proper beside it too! Additionally, you want to convey your own lock they don't have coin lockers. Lovely park with excellent perspectives of the mountains. Brilliant oval fortune and discipline. It appears to be an extraordinary load of fun these humans are taking part in. Test it out if you have the time. The music is nicely maintained and it is unfastened!

Nice wide open space good to walk your dog. Not so crowded that you feel confined. Also Killarney Community Center right behind the school. Lots to do there including a pool with hot tub.

It was really fun because people who didnt know how to skate and people who do, can go and have fun but the only thing is that people can do whatever they want like race but you can easily get hurt from those people

Its lawns is greener than any other one. The standard 400 meters track is around it. There are 4 tennis courts beside.

Great family atmosphere as well as access to a few fields for soccer and football. Also fairly clean for a public park

Pretty big has two pools, sauna and a nice size hot tub. I went at around 7pm was busy but you have enough room to swim in without bumping into people. Also, you need to bring your own lock they don't have coin lockers.

Pretty good park. If you're lucky, you might be able to catch the great Brandon Wong playing ultimate frisbee.

Free range off leash park. No fences. Attached to a full community center with pool, ice rink and gym.

Great time with my homie, this place is awesome. I love it. I highly recommend it for a beautiful park. Lots of big trees and a big field to bring your dog to. Lots of people play ultimate frisbee. Seems to be a great load of fun these people are enjoying. Check it out if you have the time. If you don't, make some time to see this beautiful place.

Nice clean park with a great playground. Also the Oval is a great place to do jogs or workouts. I love coming out to talk walks with my family and just take in how beautiful of a community that park is. The amazing community center is right beside it too! With an outdoor "pool" in the park and a pool in the community center, this park is somewhere I go all the time!
