The team at Kindred Spirits is caring, thorough and very professional. My pet is always in good hands at this clinic!

Kindred Spirits has been my vet for over 20 years, and I couldn’t think of a better place for my dogs to be cared for. They are kind and caring, as well as willing to try alternative treatments. I have never felt that they ran a “business” as much as it really is a vocation for Claudia and Kasey. The welfare of our pets comes first, long before their bottom line. And my dogs love all the treats and attention!

I have been lucky enough to have my pets cared for by Claudia and her team at Kindred Spirits for 20 years. I can always trust Claudia to give me the straight goods on what my pets need and what will help them; she does not just recommend cookie-cutter veterinary care. She listens without judgement and always has time for my questions. Everyone at the clinic loves animals and it shows in their customer service and communication. If you're lucky enough to get in to their practice, consider yourself blessed.

I have been taking my pets to Kindred Spirits for 11 years now and I have always had great experiences there. They have taken excellent care of all my precious babies.

I first took my first rescue dog to Kindred Spirits Vets in 2005 (I think). I was met with such great staff and vets that solved my dog’s issues.
Then some years later my son came to Victoria with a friend and cat, and being in a strange place the cat escaped from the house and was ultimately found injured.
Again they were met with caring, calming care from all who worked there.
Thanks to them, the cat fully recovered.
Now I am back with my 2 rescued Chihuahuas needing dental work.
Dr Kacey was so kind and gentle with them and arranged to have appointments for dental work.
Once we went back out to reception my dogs were wandering around the whole area. They seemed to feel the same safe vibe that was felt- especially my oldest, Dolly who is still scared of new strange places but when I looked for her she was behind the reception desk getting love and treats from the awesome front staff.
I have no qualms about taking them there for their dental extractions surgery. I know they will have the absolutely best care possible.
So glad to have quality veterinary care in Victoria!

They have always gone above and beyond to help us with our pets. They are extremely knowledgeable and great with animals.

I've really appreciated the care and attention shown by this vet. My dog is a rescue from a tropical country who came with lots of obscure health problems, and Kindred Spirits have been able to diagnose his uncommon issues and keep a good boy up and running. In addition, the staff are so kind and welcoming. Instead of being afraid of the V-E-T, my doggo is always delighted to go.

Dr. Claudia Campbell has always provided excellent, ethical care to my dogs (4 dogs within the last 15 or so years). She is honest and trustworthy. Her admin team and assistants are caring, kind, helpful and polite. I feel grateful that my dogs are under the care of Dr. Campbell and Kindred Spirits.

They don't rip you off or force you to buy stuff you don't need. My cat had fatty liver and the other vets told me she was either going to have to get a feeding tube or be put down. Kindred Spirits sympathized that I didn't want to do either of those things and finances were tight and they wrote up a feeding plan for me so I could nurse my cat back to health without cutting her open. It worked and she is extremely healthy to this day. I took my dog here regularly before she passed as well. They actually care about your pet!

In our experience, the veterinarians at Kindred Spirits are caring, responsive, empathetic and knowledgeable. We have been customers of theirs for years and have recommended them repeatedly.

I have been using Kindred for almost 7 years, ever since I moved to Victoria. The place is wondering and have always taken great care of my dogs. I currently have a 15 month St Bernewfy and they take wonderful and attentive care of him. I would highly recommend this veterinary.

Always appreciate the kind, compassionate and patient vets. I never feel rushed or pushed into decisions. They are thoughtful, honest and knowledgeable. We regularly see Dr. Chapman and both of my rescue dogs love her. They run up the stairs to the clinic and are thrilled to be at the vet. I especially love the holistic approach to veterinarian care and the diverse options offered.

The veterinarians are very helpful and friendly. They take their time and are very communicative.

This animal hospital is amazing. Have been taking my dog there for the past 6 years. They are kind, compassionate and take extremely good care of her. They don't recommend services I don't need, and I think the prices are incredibly fair, especially for Victoria. Have never had a single negative experience here. All of the doctors I've had appointments with have been SO NICE!

Been to 6 different vets regarding my shiba's chronic ear infections. First one to finally sit down with me and discuss health, underlying causes, and strategies, not just put antibiotics in the ear and be at the vet every few months. Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for, could not be more grateful.

I would give more stars if I could! The staff here are wonderful. The front desk is warm and knows us and all our animals by name when we come in. They were all so compassionate when it came to helping my dog cross the rainbow bridge and made it such a beautiful process. We also have cats who they take such good care of, and go the extra mile. We once had to leave our cat there for observation and the vet took time to let her out of the cage during her lunch break. I can't express how wonderful this place is.

I decided to try Kindred Spirits based on the positive reviews I have read. My first experience with my 3 m.old puppy was positive; she was welcomed with lots of treats and warm attention. On the 4 month booster visit, my experience was unexpectedly negative. On arrival, my puppy was clearly excited to be there but unfortunately there was only one staff member who did not make any effort to be welcoming. I did not bring my treat supply this time as I thought she would be given lots by the staff. During my 15min.of waiting, my puppy received no attention or treats.
Matters worsened when I clarified with the receptionist the services my puppy would receive today. I was told I must pay for another $86.full examination (last done 1 month ago) in order for my puppy to receive her booster vaccine. I questioned why a full exam was necessary and after the receptionist checked with the vet in the back area, I was told this is how we do things. So I left and will not come back. I will find another veterinary practice to care for my puppy.one that is ethical/doesn't insist on charging for unneeded and unwanted services.and one that puts their client's first.
I have a healthcare background and know that in human medicine, a GP in this situation would only be able to bill for a routine visit or partial exam, not a full exam. That's because it isnt justified.

Doctor was efficient and knew how to handle an animal without them having them stressed. Wonderful.

Our ridiculous dog Frankie French Fry, loves going to visit everybody at Kindred Spirits. She pulls at her leash to get in. I think she remembers that Terra is a softie for treats for her tricks. Love you guys
