The foods were great, but 0 service, and the attitude from owner was awful to random customers. The owner only served the ppl that she knows. We ended up only paid them with $1 tips. We went there with two kids, no booster or high chair. The owner didn’t give us the water the whole time because she keep serving the next table for the ppl that she knows. Don’t recommend for dine in.

We ordered Smoke Salmon Linguine & Baked Seafood Cannelloni. We enjoyed them so much! Smoke Salmon linguine has a little wasabi flavour in the sauce which I really enjoyed, and Cannelloni has full of seafood stuff which we loved

Food has always been great here. But what surprised me the most is the service! It has gradually gotten better over the years. 8 years ago I would have given 4 stars for service. This year (2023) I've eaten here twice with my wife, mother in law and eldest daughter. We were very happy

Nifty home style restaurant. If you want a fairly priced great meal get there early as it gets busy. Owners are very friendly but you have to be patient as there are only the 2 of them working. Excellent no nonsense dining.

Typical Italian dishes with interesting twist. The smoked salmon linguine with a drizzle of wasabi aioli was excellent.

Such a gem! I like to keep these excellent spots a secret sometimes but this sweet couple goes above and beyond. If you are lucky enough to find them get your order in early.

This small Japanese owned restaurant served up some good pasta.

We enjoyed the baked cannelloni a lot. It's a small restaurant and the service was quite slow. Given it was quite busy and we enjoyed the cozy family shop.

We try and go every week, pasta is fantastic and the prices super fair, and portions large. Love this place.

The pizza and garlic bread are OK but they only have 2 types of pizza like pepperoni and pineapple. The rest of the food is different.

I rarely give reviews esp bad ones here but the experience at this restaurant was very unpleasant. Hub and I arrived around 1: 20pm on a weekday and it was pretty empty with only one table that was finishing up. (The restaurant closes at 2pm).

The woman (I assumed it's the owner) had the most annoyed look and did not greet or smile at us. My hub wanted to leave but I thought maybe I was imagining it. I made sure to say thanks and smile when she gave us the menu but nope she still looked mad even? She was saying thank you and smiled at the people leaving so I know she's choosing to express her annoyance at us.

Food was mediocre but my hub had a stomach ache like right after eating their pasta, they don't have a restroom so he had to go to another store to release the kraken lol, but I am ok so far. We finished right before 2pm to not go over their opening hrs and only tipped 10% (lowest I've tipped at a restaurant these two years). Won't be going back for sure but it's such a pity because we like supporting small local shops.

It's been ages since I last visited Kinemi's. It was back in early 2011 when they first opened. This little restaurant is tucked away in a tiny mini mall in Champlain Heights. They do have a few tables where you can dine-in but we've only ever done take-out.

As I mentioned back on our blog post way back when (yeah, we used to have a food blog many years ago), they seem to always have specials here so it's a good idea to check their Facebook page or call in to see what's on the menu.

We decided to try their linguine duck confit with mushroom stroganoff sauce and their penne sausages with meat sauce pastas along with a Caesar salad. The pastas were better than I remembered. The penne had a very nice messy sauce and the linguine was super tasty.

Unique location in tiny strip mall. Food was delicious but more Italian than fusion or Japanese

We have been coming here for 7+ years and have never been disappointed. Delicious food and friendly service.

I enjoyed the creamy chicken Alfredo to the end if I could’ve finish it! The server was so nice and kind!

Hidden gem for sure. Everything is extremely delicious. I love their pastas and pizzas. Their ingredients taste fresh and everything is seasoned perfectly.

This place's pasta is amazing. Portions are great and also the taste is on par with any of the best pasta joints in town.

Decent food! Wish they would accept credit card! Would probably order from here more frequently if they did.

The good: Consistently delicious, well thought out dishes. Lots of pride in the food prepared. Well priced. 5 star.

The not so good: not so much ambience for dine in and service could be cold and slightly rude. The wife that runs the front of the restaurant doesn’t have one bit of coziness to her at all.

So do takeout and don’t expect friendly service.the food is so good that it’s worth it! The lobster dish is amazing.actually, everything that I’ve tried there is amazing. Also, the taste is in the sauces, I don’t think they make their own pasta.

This is our favorite spaghetti restaurant in Lower Mainland. A real hidden gem! They have regular pasta menu to go with daily specials, often with lobster or steak. Note that they are open from 11am to 2pm and then 4pm to 7pm everyday except Sunday and Monday. I would recommend them to all pasta lovers.:)
