King Koin Laundry

This is an awesome laundromat! After the last fiasco at Royal Oak Laundry, I was really dreading a repeated experience. The owner was a few minutes late so it was not off to a great start BUT his excellent customer service made up for it.

The owner was super friendly, helpful and although he walked around the laundromat alot, it was in the spirit of providing helpful advice and not micromanaging. He made zero comments to me (or others) about how much laundry/what kind of laundry we were allowed to put in the machines. When I asked about a bigger washer, he was welcoming and directed me to one without ever questioning/interrogation. I was a bit slow with loading and another customer came in. I think he wanted to use the other big washer and the owner was kind enough to check with me, which was deeply appreciated.

It seems alot of the customers are regulars as they called the owner by name and had familiar conversations. There was a (possibly) unhoused man who was doing laundry and the owner treated him with great respect and dignity. He checked in on him as frequently as he checked in with all the customers.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience here. It restored my impression of neighbourhood laundromats and humanity. The laundromat was clean, service was professional and friendly, lots of parking, all the machines were working, and it ran like clockwork. I would highly recommend King Koin Laudry!

Friendly owner who gives advice & change. Very competitive rates. Detergents are available for purchase if required. The machines mainly take 25 cent coins. There are a few parking slots spots outside.

Very kind, helpful, and cheerful owners. Reasonable prices: wash is 3.25, detergent is 1.50, and dry is 0.25/4 minutes.

Doesnt cost and arm & leg to dry your clothes. Smaller laundromat but the machines are reasonable prices.

Never used a coin laundry before. Owners are very welcoming, family owned business. Awesome coffee shop opposite to kill some time in as well.

This is great small business with excellent customer service and lots of machines at the prime time. Very happy with my first time and recommended to other friends and family for their big items like blankets.

Used the large washer for my comforter. Cost is $8 for a 23 minutes cycle, not including detergent (I brought my own). Professional and friendly service. Good seating inside.

No one there during business hours, note said buying lottery ticket be back in 5 minutes. Almost 20 minutes waited no one showed up

Nice convenient location by Metrotown with some parking out front. Machines are not new but the prices are reasonable and gets the job done. Like most laundromats, they sell detergent, dryer sheets etc if you don't have any

We started taking our clothing to King Koin for drop off laundry service after another provider lost pieces of our clothing on several occasions. Since, and for over a year, we have had an amazing experience here.

We drop off our laundry and arrange to pick it up the next day. At times we request our personal detergent be used and it is never a problem. We separate our laundry into dry and hang dry and it is always done accurately. Unlike previous experiences, with other providers, there is never any untoward smell, such as cigarette smoke, on the clothes. And importantly, nothing is ever missing.

In addition, the service is very personable. The owners are very nice and when required, we are able to text with questions or concerns. One thing we've really appreciated, which is super niche, is the way they fold our socks and underwear, as demonstrated in the picture. It really helps with storing them when we get them home to our drawers.

If you are looking for a drop off laundry service, I highly recommend this company!

So positive an experience that I nearly forgot that I spent Valentine's Day doing laundry.: -

Been here a few times, went to a few other places. We had to come back to this one. The place is clean, staff is friendly willing to give guidance. They don't try to rip you off, want you to make the most out of your trip and make it easy for you to do your laundry. They have spacious folding tables, places to sit and wait while your laundry is being done, plenty of washers and dryers for all load types. Enough room to allow you to follow guidelines for distancing. I would recommend this place if your looking for an easy going comfortable location to do your laundry.

This place is friendly and good owners. They recently put in an ATM machine so if you are in a hurry and don't stop at the bank for cash.you can get cash there.but don't complain about the charge on the ATM.if you forgot to get cash at the bank.this is here for your convenience. They have drinks and snacks there too. Happy washing: D

Conveniently located near metropolis metrotown mall, dry-cleaners next door and a modern industrial cafe right across. Plenty of washers and dryers of all sizes with excellent service quality. I didn't need to spend a whole lot for me to appreciate the attentiveness of the store clerk to ask for change or available washer.

A small coin laumdry, older but functional machines. Helpful and friendly attendant. Constant flow of clientele, Sunday afternoon. Would go again.

Just went there on the basis of star ratings and the proved it. The people are very supportive.

This place is always welcomed by the owner with happy face, always willing to help, great price and doing laundry becomes a wonderful experience.

A pretty good laundrymat run by a good Filipino family, they are very friendly and helpful, recently they had to change the hours during the long weekend Sunday, they used to open from 8 am - 8 pm, now unfournatly they only open from 8 am- 4 pm due to low customer turn out, which is understandable.

They tell you the prices and help you load up the machines for you if your having difficulty. Sometimes if you left clothing behind they usually are quick to help you out so you don't lose your socks or other article of clothing. They also offer advice on whether the stain on your clothing can be removed or if your going to have to get a new one.

So far all in all my experience here has been very pleasant for the past 4-5 years I've been coming here.

I recommend anybody in the neighborhood that needs laundry service done to come here.

It's disgusting that a business would treat anyone like this, let alone a disabled person.

Really nice people running this place. Usually don't have to wait for machines and they have lots of change.
