Kin's Farm Market

I was working in the area and stopped in. I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and reasonably priced the produce was! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I live in Aldergrove and wish I had a market like this in my area!

It's an ok place for you to buy produce. Nothing spectacular, nor super fresh. Very few choices when it comes to organic food. Not even much local stuff there. Staff is nice and friendly.

Disgusted with the customer service. I spent $10 on plums on an $80 bill, all of which had to be binned by the time I got home, 10mins later, as they were so mush that the bag left a stain on my carpet and stickiness all over my fridge from other produce that was in the bag with them. I shopped here at least twice a week, spent a LOT of money to buy local when available, bought all of my produce here, and I’ve NEVER complained anything that has gone bad before, including moldy strawberries, wilted kale, rotten apples and bad grapes.
It’s too bad I have to go out of my way even further to get produce now. They would not even take the $10 I threw away off my next large bill, so that even more of my time was wasted. Will NOT be returning.

Pretty disappointed in this Kins location, they had very poor ‘good selection’ of produce. I asked about the corn (knowing it’s early in the season) was told it was fresh in that morning. Once I pulled back the husks (whatever it’s called) to season they were dry shrivelled and in some spots brown. Disgusting! I have not been impressed with the quality of their produce at other locations in the past and thought I’d give Port Moody a go. Probably the last time I go there.
Prices are high, quality is low…and in PoMo the staff are really clueless.

Prices and products are very good. One star is because of the cashier staff and I believe people who train them. Most of the time people wait in line for so long as only one cashier working. Also most of the cashier staff dont have basic business sense and basic customer relations training. It also happens a lot to punch in wrong code and then it is a compleate mess with the final bill (without saying sorry to a customer). Untill then will buy my veggies and fruits arround (thrifties, pommes, whole foods.etc. Untill someting changes no more visits to this store so if you like to lose money, no worries:)

This evening while they were closing I was in my truck waiting to pick up some food and I was watching them bringing in their fruit bins, when a half dozen or so apples fell from the cart onto the side walk and into the gutter, the guy grabbed them and threw them back into the bin and continued on dragging the bin inside. I wouldn't recommend getting your fruit here, seems pretty sketchy.

Always fresh organic and local farm produce. Great prices products and service.

Regarding pandemic safety concerns were noted when some employees and many customers were not wearing masks. They did have a plexiglas shield at the main counter and hand sanitizer which was nice. Great air circulation due to the fact that most displayed items were outside. Friendly service. We will be back again for a follow up visit because I really think this place deserves 5 stars. When dealing with food the safety of customers and staff is important to stop the spread of covid 19.

Good quality fruits and vegetables. The language barrier can be an issue when one inquires about an item

The rude lady at the till refused to accept an American quarter. Not entirely sure what the problem is, I've never had this issue in my life.

We love this veggie store, good selection and very competitive prices. Local produce available which is a real bonus.

They make honest!? Mistakes far too often and when you return the items, which means spending time and gas, they don't bother to compensate slightest. One of their employees was really rude: (if you shop there, check your receipts before leaving the shop.

Always a great neighborhood place to shop for produce. I have noticed a bit of an increase in pricing as of late though. Used to be cheaper

I love the experience of this Kin's because of its close availability from where I live. Some stuff is more expensive than your big box stores. But it lasts WAY longer almost always. Availability (of predictable produce) isn't always consistent. But when it's there, it's good.
