Holly at Kintech in Port Moody was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable of the products.

She demonstrated her high level of expertise and genuine interest in helping me find the best solution for my needs. I will definitely keep coming to Kintec for all my orthotics needs!

Edit: Kinetic was very good about responding to the issue below. I was able to exchange the shoes for slightly bigger ones so now my feet don't get blisters. So I'm very satisfied with my service and their support and changed the rating to five stars as they have excellent support.

Unfortunately the 200 pair of shoes I got caused me blisters on my right foot. I tested them on the treadmill at kinetic and they were fine. After a 20 minute run outside they caused blisters on my right foot. So now I have a useless pair of new shoes. So now I still need a new pair of running shoes

Waited 20 minutes into a 45 minute appointment time.

Was disappointed as I took time off work to accommodate their available appointment times.

Holly helped us pick out some shoes and help us with our orthotics. She was very knowledgeable and kind. She helped us pick shoes that were perfect for our lifestyles and our foot type. We had a wonderful experience. I wanted water-resistant shoes and they had even more models in the back. They had a great selection of shoes! She help us a lot with our orthotics as well. We’re very happy with them!

From my experience, Its VERY hard to find experts being truly involved, patient and professional in their professions nowadays. However, that is not the case with Hollys exceptional shoe fitting service. Moreover, after explaining my past ankle problems she recommended a very functional type of ankle brace that I never knew would work for me until I tried it.

My advice to Kintec is to take care of their team, especially the one in Port Moody for without them there would be no Kintec.

After wandering in on a whim, Lavisha was able to give me a great assessment and find me a perfect pair of new runners for cross-training. Best fitting shoes I've had in ages, and a killer deal to boot. Will definitely go back again.

The appointment I booked went really well. The staff member (I don't recall his name) who helped me was full of good information and recommendations to help with my foot pain. I left with some recommended stretches which have helped me a lot. The foot scan and gait analysis did not cost me anything and are part of the service which I was not expecting. It was a good experience. Thank you so much!

Shoutout to the very friendly ladies who work here for helping me find a great pair of Birkenstocks that I practically live in now. They were patient and knowledgable. Thanks also to Rey S.from the Vancouver location for the great service and recommendation!

I came in looking for some waterproof shoes for an upcoming trip and Lavisha did an excellent job of walking me through all the options. Excellent customer service!

Had a fantastic experience at the Port Moody location; was assisted by Lavisha who was very helpful despite my not having an appointment that day and just dropped in. She also assisted me in ordering the shoes online when they didn't have the specific pair and size in stock at their store and they quickly brought in my right shoe 2 days later. Would highly recommend this location!

Despite walking in without an appointment, Nona managed to squeeze me in to fit me for some runners. The foot measurement technology was great, and I was able to be size-matched to a few pairs of shoes that all fit perfectly, giving me a selection to choose from. I am very happy with my purchase and experience at Kintec.

Kintec Port Moody is great! My family doctor recommended me to go to Kintec to address heel pain issues, so I booked a free pain analysis workshop. Humam was the person who helped me, and he was very professional and very helpful.

Even though my heels were not in pain when I was at Kintec, Humam was able to assess and pinpoint the problem by asking me questions, looking at the shoes I normally wear, and doing a gait analysis. He then suggested stretches and massages that I could do to help address the problem, and he also helped me find a pair of shoes that fit properly. There was no pressure to buy the shoes. Humam encouraged me to use the treadmill in the store to test them out, told me to get them only if they feel right, and informed me of the return policy. It's been about a week since I got the shoes, and they are so comfortable!

I could feel that Humam really cared, and his communication skill is SUPERB. He truly listens and observes, and he makes things easy to understand when he explains. Thank you, Humam!

Kelier and Holly's professionalism and excellent service made the experience of getting new orthotics easy. I got great advice regarding appropriate footwear, the fitting and adjustment process was quick and simple, and I plan to return when I'm in the market for new shoes. Went in without an appointment but was warmly greeted right away by Sagar, who helped set us up with Adam for a foot assessment and fitting. Adam was so professional and knew what he was doing. He listened carefully to our needs and fitted my husband and I each with inserts, as well as a pair of shoes for myself. It’s been about 3 weeks since we’ve visited and I haven’t had any arch pain (despite getting heavier due to pregnancy!), and my husband’s leg aches & tightness have significantly reduced. I’m so glad we walked in. I will be recommending this place to friends and patients!

I've had flat-feet for as long as I can remember and I was recommended to try Kintec by a friend. Through my first appointment, I was welcomed in, assessed and put in good hands (Keiler). When it came to fitment, it didn't fit right the first time so we readjusted it about 5-6 times to make sure that the arc and support was the best for my unique foot. Keiler was patient, Knowledgeable, and extremely helpful in making sure that I was happy with my two pairs of orthotics. I told him that I'd be recommending him and this location to all my fellow flat-footers. Hands down the best orthotic place around. 5 stars all the way baby!

I went to Kintec Port Moody on a friend's recommendation. My approach to buying shoes has been pretty rudimentary beforehand, often to my own detriment. There's only one way I can describe my experience, it was a game changer. Cody was exceptionally helpful and walked me through the entire process. Turns out I was wearing the wrong size my entire life. He brought out some recommended pairs and it was an instant relief, for the first time in forever, the fit felt comfortable. Despite putting in so much time and effort with me, at no point was I rushed to buy or up sold to more a expensive pair. I was given tons of options at different price points, given the pros and cons for everything and allowed to make my own decision. I don't think I will ever be able to buy shoes from elsewhere.

I rarely take the time to write a review but my experience for an orthotic assessment at Port Moody Kintec was excellent. Kieler put me at ease immediately and gave clear explanations throughout the process. He even re-laced my runners for better comfort and it worked! I am just “breaking in” my new orthotics and so far so good. Kieler was very helpful with paperwork for Green Shield coverage. This was a good experience. Rita

I was sent here by my PT who insisted I stop buying shoes from the same place I pick up milk and eggs (okay, it's Costco). To be honest, I'm not the kind of customer who holds court in a store. I usually slink in and out unnoticed so wasn't sure about needing an appointment to buy shoes. It turned out to be an amazing experience. Sagar was super knowledgeable and encouraging. A place that allows you to book time with someone who will give you their undivided attention so you can try and choose the right footwear is the way to go. I, for one, am now a believer.

I got over the counter orthotics a year ago at this location with a gait analysis and the person who helped me was really awesome and knowledgeable, so that when I got coverage to get custom orthotics I came back. I was helped by Keiler and he was super friendly, super knowledgable, used/asked for my pronouns, and really went above and beyond to make sure they fit all my shoes/boots properly and made me feel comfortable and taken care of. Would recommend Keiler and Kintec to anyone looking for custom orthotics or well recommended runners/walking shoes.

I was looking for shoes, and since I have flat feet this store piqued my interest. Sagar analyzed my walking pattern and feet and was able to recommend some really comfortable shoes at a great price.

Came in to get a gait analysis done for my 12 year old son. Lavisha helped us out and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. At one point she consulted with a senior team member to get another opinion and I found that to be reassuring since she was trying to get another perspective and didn't hesitate to get us the best service possible. I found the product selection of shoes there to be excellent with good quality products being the emphasis rather than a huge selection. I would definitely recommend this location and it was a pleasure going there.

Absolutely Horrible Experience!
First off, as soon as I entered the store I was greeted kindly by a staff and was sat to wait in the overly cleaned and open spaced store as I had an appointment.

Secondly, after a very long 10 second wait I was welcomed by Holly. She was professional, knowledgeable, patient and friendly with a great sense of humor.

Lastly, after Holly listened to all my problems she swiftly brought a few pairs of runners/recommended insoles after my foot assessment.
I was Forced to buy one of the runners and insole.
As I fell in love with them, it felt like a warm hug for my feet

To conclude, Book a 1 on 1 appointment at this location if you like clean/covid safe environments, with professionals who care and provide/recommend runners and insoles that will help your feet.

Had our first Kintec in store appointment today. The technician (Chelsea) was so knowledgeable and friendly. An outstanding customer experience and helped us so much with our footwear needs. Would definitely recommend and return for future business.

I just want to say THANK YOU to Keiler for helping me out and providing me a great service. I've been dealing with right knee pain for over 15 years, and none of the docs I've seen, gave me a proper diagnosis. I went to Port Moody branch to get a custom insole. Keiler did my assessment and directed me to get a right help, and I am currently under treatment:). Very please with the customer-service and enjoyed my process getting my custom insole.

This place is by far the most comprehensive, reasonable and friendly shoe store I have ever been in!

I was met at the door by Holly, who was also the one who helped me find my shoes. Even though I did not have an appointment (during covid they have switched to a person-by-person system) she was gracious enough to allow me to wait a little while until an opening was available to be fitted. After that, I was lead through some sort of 3d-imaging gizmo which gave some insight into the particular shoe types and features which would best serve me.

Through the entire process Holly was very forgiving of my lack of understanding and endeavoured to explain the entire process of buying shoes and trying them out in great detail. Even better, she taught me how to fix the one problem that was present in almost every shoe i have ever bought (heel slippage) with a neat way to tie shoes called a "heel lock. " Apparently i have been tying my shoes wrong for my whole life!

Thanks again to Holly and the store as a whole for the best shoe service and pair of shoes I've ever had. If my feet could speak, I'm sure they would be even louder in their praise!

It was evident from my first visit with Keiler Fulton to purchase sandals for my grandson, his goal was to ensure that he focused on making a difference in the comfort and pain reduction of his clients. On repeat visits for both my myself and my grandson his knowledge and expertise in designing and fitting orthotics was excellent. He has a professional manner as well as a very personable way appreciated by both adults and children!

Keiler is probably one of the most knowledgeable, personable, and go-the-extra-mile-able people you will meet anywhere. It was an absolutely wonderful experience, and he accommodated every need that we had, answered every question, and addressed every concern. We left with custom orthotics on order for my wife, and I don't think I have ever loved a pair of shoes more than the ones he had me try on. We both tried on several pairs of shoes, as he wanted to find the ones that would suit us the best. All the while, with the biggest smile on his face. Everyone should strive to be like Keiler. The retail market would be a better place!

Extremely competent and courteous customer service. I don't normally post reviews however felt that my every interaction with Kintec in Port Moody was met with friendly efficient professionals, beginning with Reynaldo, to the general phone service agent. As for the product, my new orthopedic inserts are light years better than the product I got years ago. Direct billing was a bonus.

I visited the Port Moody's Kintec location in desparation. I needed a walking shoe for gravel walking trails. I was impressed with their technology and their thoroughness in checking out my gait and feet statistics (size, width, height) and found out that the reason I've been having such a difficult time with finding comfortable shoes is because of my wide feet and the sizing of each foot differently. Katie was kind, knowledgable, interested, and patient in helping me find the shoe that would work. I wouldn't hesitate to invite others to also make that appointment to help them find that right-fitting shoe.

Ermin did a fantastic job with my daughter's custom orthotic assessment and subsequent fitting. He had tons of info to give us and spent lots of time ensuring things were just right. He was super patient while my teen tried on EVERY shoe in her size that they carry. I've been a Kintec customer for more than a decade but this was our first experience having a full assessment done for custom orthotics. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - Ermin specifically.:)

I’ve been in a few times and the staff are all super friendly and helpful! Ermin has fitted me for orthotics in the past and even followed up with an email to make sure everything was going well and when I told him I still had having discomfort with the orthotics he had me come in and have them adjusted. The staff follow all health and safety precautions and even though I no longer live in the area will make it a point to come into Kintec the next time I need new runners!
