Gamal was a great help! He 3D scanned and measured my foot. To help me find my true size. Then gave me his expert opinion on what size shoes I should actually be wearing day to day. Very happy with my purchase. Thank you to the staff at this location!

Not much to complain about. Comfortable shoe store that offers help with getting orthotics.

Originally, another transient employee did my original evaluation, and I had a bad experience. I wasn't very confident about what kind of orthotics I would receive. This didn't sit well with me. I took the time and called back and had a meaningful conversation with Sara G, the manager and pedorthist. She suggested that I come back for a second assessment before my customized orthotics were ordered. My second appointment was a complete 180 degree different experience! Sara was very kind and patient, took her time, was very thorough, and answered all my questions and concerns. She assured me that she would follow through with me for the entire process. When I returned for my fitting, she explained how she had a hybrid of a walking/ general sport orthotic with a built-up heel cup made for me. From the first few steps to almost 2 weeks, the orthotics are incredible! They are in my shoes performing beautifully, but I don't feel them. I have 1 year for free adjustments but I don't believe I will need adjustments. They are perfect! Thank you Sara for taking the time and care with me, making a bad experience into a positive one and providing excellent customer service. Instead of dismissing me, you made me feel important and have made all the difference. I will be back to see you again, and I will recommend you and Kintec to my friends. You are professional and genuinely care about your clients. Thank you!

Staff try their best to make sure orthotics are comfortable. I had to go multiple times to get the orthotics adjusted and after a ridiculous number of visits, a new pair was ordered instead to specifically address the pain/pressure point. Staff do care and make sure it's comfortable.

However, the last person to fit my orthotics damaged my shoe and punched a hole in the toe area; they're only a few months old so it's a bit disappointing: (Thought the material was just snagged a bit but upon closer inspection it's definitely holey. Should have looked closer in the store but I was more focused on how the orthotics was feeling.

I stopped into the Kintec store in Burnaby for the first time as I have been struggling with plantar fasciatis in my feet. Emmanuel was extremely helpful without being pushy at all in selling me a very expensive pair of shoes. I really appreciated his honesty. He gave helpful suggestions and took a scan of my feet. I would definitely return to the store in the future. Thank you!

After an absolutely horrendous one on one fitting at Kintec Vancouver, I was encouraged to try the Burnaby location.

The difference was night and day.

The help I got in Burnaby was attentive, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. We were able to dig into the specifics of my injury needs and sizing and find options that were immediately great and supported my PT goals. I felt like my feedback was being productively incorporated into the discussion to fine tune and improve what I was being shown.

Since I was a bit reluctant to commit after my Vancouver Kintec experience, I asked for more options as comparables just to make sure. They were extremely patient in bringing out alternates to compare.

In the end, I left with a pair of shoes that was markedly better than my prior shoes and the feeling that my concerns were heard and addressed appropriately.

Girlfriend went to get a recommendation on knee braces and they tried to sell her a $2500 custom one that looked like a robotic prosthetic. Go to a proper medical facility in my opinion

I searched for kinetec because I was getting knee pain while I run and looking for a new pair of shoes. I had an appointment with Gamal and he was nothing but awesome. Gamal is very knowledgeable in his field, proficient at his work, and a pleasure to work with. He recommended me shoes for my pain and I ended up buying insoles and a knee brace as well. I’m torn because Gamal gave great service and would book an appointment with him again, yet, I hope I don’t have any pain which would bring me in again any time soon.

Came here at 12: 15pm hoping to do a short browsing of the shoes as I heard good things from colleagues. It was a small store, but the one staff Humam was ready to help me out. He didn't have an appointment and spent the next 45 minutes with me.

I told him I needed some shoes I walk in all day and some light running. I also told him I bike around as well so consider that in the shoe.

Humam brought me a New Balance and Brooks shoes. Both fit well and was very comfortable. He took me to a machine to measure my feet and I learned so much in that short 5 minute scan and discussion. Didn't know I had flatter feet and wider feet. Humam did all this and I didn't buy anything (yet). But with the service, I'm ready to go back for a full appointment to assess my gait and finding the right shoe for me.

I visited your Burnaby location today and was served by Gamal. He was helpful, knowledgeable as a result I bought shoes and will recommend him. I will return when I have any other foot related needs. Well done

Kintec Burnaby is a small but well-managed branch. My friend and I did not have an appointment but we were welcomed anyway. Alex assisted us. He was very helpful and efficient.

What a positive experience I have had at Kintec in Burnaby, BC! My Fitting Expert, Reynaldo Sanchez, was thorough, professional and empathetic. I never felt rushed. He answered all my questions and explained everything clearly. My new orthotics feel great, and my two new pairs of running shoes are the most comfortable I have ever had - I feel as though I am bouncing along the street! Product prices are reasonable and in my opinion, I received tremendous value for money. I am a very happy customer of Kintec in Burnaby.

Both my wife and I went for an evaluation to Canada Way Location.
My wife has heel spurs and I have “on cloud” pair of running shoes but I get knee pains when I run.
Jamal spent a fair amount of time and narrowed down the choices amd finally we were able to buy a great pair of running shoes as well as inserts and of course a very comfortable pair of Hoka beach sliders!
Now just have to wait for the ️

It was our pleasure to meet Cody (therapist) at the Burnaby location. This was our first visit at Kintec. I had brought my elderly mom for a consultation and needless to say, Cody was absolutely fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and empathetic to the needs of an aged person. Cody spent 1 1/2 hours with us explaining the work they do, and he suggested the best solution going forward for my mom. This was the best customer service we have received for a very, very long time! We were impressed at Cody's professionalism and walked out with a purchase! Thank you for your help Cody!

I want to thank Gamal for helping my son with his heel pain. He recommended gel pads and a pair of soccer cleats for wider feet. My son's heel pain has gone away and he loves his new cleats and says his feet aren't sore after his practice or games. Thank you so much happy boy happy mom!

After getting frustrated by other shoe stores, where I had trouble getting help and getting assistance that understood my complex foot issues, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Kintec Burnaby. I was helped by Gamal who answered all my questions and even some I hadn't yet thought to ask. He listened to my list of foot issues (plantar fasciitis, arthritis, Raynaud's, etc.) and worked to ensure the shoe I bought was the right one for me. I would definitely recommend this location and Gamal.

I visited Kintec, Burnaby, because the balls of my feet were getting numb, and my doctor said that I am not getting proper arch support from my footwear. I decided to try a specialized shoe store because I did not know how to choose a proper footwear that will help me.
I met Reynaldo at Kintec, Burnaby, who after hearing my story took my measurements and brought out two pairs of shoes and a pair of special insole inserts. He explained that the two together will give me the kind of support I need. He replaced the insoles within one of the shoe pairs with the special insoles and asked me to try.
I had hardly taken five steps in my new pair of shoes when I realized that I have never felt so good in a pair of shoes my whole life! It was amazing, almost like magic. The shoes were fully supportive while my feet inside them were completely relaxed. Reynaldo explained to me how the special insert is going to reduce pressure on the balls of my feet and help me.
He also did a 3-D imaging of my feet where I could clearly see all the measurements of my feet and clearly see the structure of my own feet for the first time.
Reynaldo also showed me some exercises of the feet that will help me. He is simply amazing and does not pressure you to buy anything. I have never been so happy wearing a pair of shoes as I am now. I will always go to him for all my future footwear needs.

I wanted to know what size my daughter's feet were, exactly, and we got so much more than that! The volumetric scanning is incredible - it's totally her little feet! And Reynaldo was passionate about his work - very impressed.

Rey was very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job assessing and explaining things to me. Very patient! Already recommended a few friends to make appt to get their feet and shoes assessed!

I went in today to get shoes for my shore feet and Reynaldo helped me. He was really understanding, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. Reynaldo even went above and beyond by giving me the name of another competitor because Kintec didn't have my size and he knew how badly I needed the shoes!

I can't say enough positive things about Cory and Reynaldo at the Canada Way Kintec. I went for a full assessment and the service Cory provided spectacular, and the Orthotics themselves were quick and are great. I took my daughter for an informal assessment and Reynaldo provided me with such great service as well, information, recommendations, not a high pressure sales pitch. I won't go anywhere else moving forward and plan to bring in my other daughter in the near future. Thank you!

Had a great experience at the Burnaby Kintec shop, thanks to the help of Reynaldo! He's really friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to shoe/sandal sizes and how to determine the right fit for your feet. It really helps to have a fitting expert help you out when you're not sure whether to size up or down or if you're in between sizes. I'd recommend paying the store a visit and make sure to ask for Rey!

Incredible customer service! Went in to be fitted for compression socks and to chat about new shoes for work. The One2One fitting service was easy to book with, and I got an appointment the same week. I visited the Kintec Burnaby location to look into new running shoes for half marathon training. Reynaldo was awesome! It was fun going through all of the metrics tests on your feet, walk, pressure points and several others. I highly recommend visiting Kintec. My new running shoes are perfect!

I just had my custom orthotics in this store and my experience was so pleasant!
Reynaldo assisted me for my pre evaluation and Cory is the Podiatrist. Cory explained everything to me on what do I need to do to ease my foot pain and He will recommend to you if what is the best orthotic that you need!
