Kintec: Footwear + Orthotics

I am glad I chose Kintec Langley for my custom brace needs as they have this amazing fitter Liam who went above and beyond to meet all my needs and expectations. Great fitting experience with Donjoy Defiance III! Also, terrific job with identifying that the specialist overlooked something very important and based on his questions via email, surgeon decided to schedule a surgery within the following week and now I am in a much better condition. All thanks to Liam!

Went to Kintec in Langley today for the first time today. Liam was great – he knew just what questions to ask to help me find the right pair. The store has a wide selection of quality shoes and other items. I'll definitely be returning. Thanks to Liam for the great service!

My consultation with Jessica was very helpful.she patiently spent time with me doing the gait analysis, etc, and discussing what might be going on with my foot, and then found me the right pair of shoes. Kind, courteous professional five-star service!

Tom was professional, knowledgeable, and personable as he conducted my orthotic fitting. They fit like a dream, and my feet have never been happier!

Talk about a win! My 14 year old son plays rep baseball, it’s an 11 month program that runs 5-6 days a week. To say he logs some time on his feet is an understatement. Lately he has been growing like crazy and having some foot and knee pain causing him to have to sit out and miss training. On advice of a coach we stopped into Kintec in Langley to see if they could help us out. Joseph absolutely blew my mind. Took the time to do an assessment, fully explained with visuals what potentially could be happening, then offered suggestions and let him try multiple sets of the over the counter orthotics to see what one’s felt best. Without hesitation he even touched my sons absolutely disgusting cleats. We purchased some insoles with the assurance that we had 60 days to make the decision if it’s what he needs, if not we can return them and try again. Unbelievable. This experience absolutely exceeded any expectations I had walking in the door.

Great store, competitive prices, great staff! Kelsie was terrific. She spent a lot of time with me to help me get a perfect fit. I will definitely be back for my next pair of shoes. Thanks Kelsie!

Went in for an appointment due to foot pain, and was assisted by Jessica.the whole process was quick, simple, and very effective! Within 30min i was out the door with a set of insoles that were appropriate for myself, and already within a few days im already feeling positive results.thank you!

Recently My wife and I stopped by Kintec to see about getting some Hoka running shoes. I knew what I wanted but my wife did not. Jessica helped us tremendously explaining to my wife the features of different shoes and what might work best for her. Jessica was very patient and professional as I think my wife ended up trying on just about every Hoka shoe style in the store but in the end we both got the shoes that worked for us. Kintec has a great selection of shoes and quite knowledgeable staff, I highly recommend them.

Kyle and Megan were very professional. Cannot believe how technological advanced the devices were, being able to measure the structure of my feet, and to video record my walking movements. I have used the orthotics for more than two months now and my gait has improved, and I feel less pain. Thank you so much! Although, I thought Megan looked familiar, but she had a mask on, so I do not know for sure if I saw her someplace else.

Just received excellent service from Quintan from Kintec Footlabs in Langley. Quintan was very helpful in my quest looking for orthotic slippers. We appreciated his knowledge and experience to find the right orthotic slipper. I thank him and my feet thank Quintan.

Quinten helped me out today and I generally struggle with sales people because I always feel like I don’t know what I am talking about so I’m worried about being talked down to (yes it’s happened lots of times). But not today! Quinten helped me and made me feel comfortable while I was there and we ended up finding a running shoe that works for my specific foot! I can’t wait to get outside with these:)

Kyle was very courteous, thorough and knowledgeable during my fitting and when picking up my orthotics. They fit perfectly. And the information I needed for my insurance company was provided in a timely manner.

I've purchased about 5 pairs of orthotics from Kintec over the years, and they are great! Long-lasting, and they make every pair of shoes comfortable (shoe shopping is much easier now). Joseph is very helpful and fun to talk to!

Went in on a referral for plantar fasciitis a week before my wedding, unable to walk without a cane. To say I was beyond irritated and on sensory overload was an understatement. When I walked in I was greeted by Liam right away, even though he was helping someone else. And Megan was the employee who helped me out. She was patient and answered all my questions, there was a lot! I can't speak kindly enough of their professional and friendly attitude! It was my first time going to this location and I must say the experience was awesome. I had Kyle and I must say he was so professional in addressing my concerns with my feet. I've always had flat feet and the pain from them has affected me since I was in my teens. I just received my orthotics on the 17th and I'm already feeling a big difference. I will recommend this location to my friends and family. A big shout out to Kyle he did a fantastic job.

As soon as I walked with some greeted me and asked what I was looking for. He helped me find the ankle brace I needed. He measured my ankle made sure it’s the right fit. I was going to get a large size but turns out I needed a medium.

What made this experience great for me is the fact that he adapted to my energy level. I’m having a really hard day because of PTSD so I deeply appreciated that he adjusted to my low energy level without any awkwardness.

Recently visited Kintec Langley for custom orthotics. It was a great experience as Kyle was very kind, thorough and knowledgeable - he was very patient with the many questions I had. I'd highly recommend Kyle if custom orthotics are in your future.

I've been dealing with minor foot pain for almost 3 decades due to an ankle replacement, but in the last few months things got significantly worse, so I went to see Kyle at Kintec Langley, and after everything was said and done, if it wouldn't have been for the ongoing pandemic, I would have hugged him. Kyle took the time and was very patient throughout my appointment. I asked him his opinion on which route I should pursue (over the counter vs custom orthotics) and we decided to start with over the counter, and then I will go further if needed. For more than a year now I have had a number of falls caused by drop foot.

My family doctor sent me to Kintec and I was impressed with the various aids available.

I had visions of a very uncomfortable brace but much to my delight the apparatus that was shown me is effective but almost invisible and I love the confidence it has given me.

With terribly aligned feet I went to Kintec for a recommendation. I work long hours on my feet and needed some orthotics to avoid prolonged pain and Joseph was very accommodating! Very knowledgeable, and top-notch customer service. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family.

I came in today wanted to get a pair of sandals as my heels have been getting quite fatigue from walking. My dad got 3 pairs with kintec’s orthotic adjustment and those helped him a lot.

I got so disappointed from how I was treated by the staff today. Honestly I didn’t need her help as they looked busy and I didn’t need a custom product. Her impatience made us felt we needed to make a decision within a minute. Her questions were asked in a very aggressive way.

At the checkout I told her about an organization discount I could get from them, she didn’t know where to find the details from the store so she started to question us again with the crazy attitude.

Finally at the end of it, I wondered if I could still bring my sandals back for future orthotic adjustments. She didn’t want to answer nor understand my question. She even said Kintec would never adjust those sandals (SOLE) while my dad has got three pairs from the past. She walked away before I finished my sentence…

Not sure what her day was like, but her attitude was terrible, and I didn’t really mean to BOTHER her life

I was well taken care of by Megan for a over the counter orthotics and 1 week later my feet are still happy. Your feet will thank you. Ask for Megan!

Popped into Langley location, without an appointment to purchase new shoes and Alex was AWESOME! He was cheerful, kind, and attentive. He made time for me and helped me get a shoe I love love love! Had a great experience. I was assisted by Megan who was very thoughtful, patient and thorough. Seeing the results of the scan as well as being able to watch my own gait from a treadmill run as Megan explained her thoughts left me and my feet feeling well educated and well supported ;).

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Kelsie! She is amazing! She took the time to help me find a pair of runners that fit me correctly and are so comfy. I had given up on being able to find a pair of runners that didn't hurt my feet. She went above and beyond as she also helped my dad and my spouse.

Excellent staff with great knowledge and customer service. Came in due to flat foot, and Joseph provided everything I needed to feel comfortable and assured with my running. Answered all questions, was very polite, and the assessment was simple, yet thorough. Joseph did a 3D scan for my future self to save time, which was something small, yet appreciated. Walked out with a pair of off the shelf orthotics to try, a plan of recovery, and a backup plan (custom) just in case. Very satisfied.

Made an online reservation, they called me to schedule the appointment for a week and a half in the future instead. Showed up to my new appointment date and got told that I didn't have an appointment for today, and it wouldn't be possible to fit me in today.

Always a great experience at Kintec Langley! The staff are truly foot experts and spend the necessary time to help find the right footwear and orthotics. They have the newest models of footwear including sandals and trail running shoes. I've been shopping here for years and my feet thank me for it!

Came in today looking for a pair of orthotics for my boots. I had the pleasure of working with Joseph once again. His service is consistently good. Just in today to buy walker/runners. Regarding concerns over Covid and the store. They prefer to take phone reservations so that the store is not crowded. There is a sanitation station right where you come in. I was asked to take off shoes and socks at the door before I put on the rubber gloves provided. They give you a new pair of socks to keep when you try on the shoes. You are advised not to touch anything. I was the only client in the store. I had absolutely no concerns about the virus! I thought I knew my measurements going in but boy was I wrong! They have a state of the art measurement machine that measures every aspect of your foot. Believe me I had some surprises! Kelsie gave me excellent service, no high pressure selling and showed great concern about fit. I highly recommend this store and Kelsie.

Knowledgeable, professional and kind are the adjectives I can use to describe my experience at the Langley Kintec store. Jake did a great and detailed assessment using impressive technology for orthotics and to determine best shoe size for my feet. My orthotics felt amazing from the time I tried them on. He went out of his way to help me find the perfect fitting shoes. The whole process of adjusting to the idea of needing orthotics was difficult for me. Jake was a great help in patiently walking me through it. In addition, I must add that while I was there the entire Langley team created a welcoming and kind atmosphere, ensuring that everyone was helped promptly and effectively.

Kendra was awesome! She approached me as soon as I walked in and fit me with the Genutrain knee brace. I've been able to work out stress free ever since, I love it!
