Kisokoma Japanese Restaurant

First time eating here and it's pretty good! I like how the takoyaki is crispy on the outside and soft inside.

The chicken teriyaki was delicious as well and I am happy that there's a brown rice option! The first time I came here the brown rice was a tiny amount (this was during covid) and so I wasn't too impressed. But since then, the portion of the rice is much larger and much better!

The salmon sashimi was nice and fresh. The avocado salad dressing was creamy and veggies were crispy.

Service was great and covid protocols all in place. They offer a few tables and chairs outside so you are able to eat your food there.

So fast and efficient. Great service, place actually is staffed. Good food 5/5 for rolls and pricing is very on par and reasonable.

My favorite lunchtime spot during work! I always get vegetarian sushi and it's well-priced, good portions, and quick.

Love this spot! Food tastes delicious every time and the prices are always good; I work in the building and eat here a lot and always leave satisfied.

We decided to stop in for a quick bite before visiting the dentist. I have walked by here many many times and this is the first time we have actually eaten here. The space is small-ish but the tables are well separated and it is very clean inside. The service is prompt, courteous and the food arrives from the kitchen very quickly. You can sit and look inside if you’d like. I had the beef special fried rice and it was excellent. My wife had the sushi special and it was also very delicious. The price point was very reasonable (under $30 for lunch for two people). As an added bonus Michael Buble and his wife were eating for their first time as well. He was very friendly and congenial.

Sticky tables. Witnessed that a table was not wiped between customers. Rude service from young male staff (with face acne) : slow response time, as if he doesn't speak or understand English, but actually; no thank you even when you are paying. Very unpleasant experience; looks miserable and behaves like he'd never be fired - likely family member. Food was ok, but it was swift.
