Un des meilleurs "wine shops" de Vancouver. Un vaste choix, avec la part belle donnée à la France et l'Italie et une sélection soigneuse des producteurs (dont une section spéciale vin nature). Mais surtout un personnel qualifié qui saura vous aiguiller pour trouver LA (les?) bouteille (s) qu'il vous faut!

Was looking for a bottle of champagne that would be enjoyed by everyone, so not too dry or too sweet and Rob selected the perfect bottle. I love shopping here, as the staff really know their stuff

Decent selection, the staff member I spoke with was not very knowledgeable however. Prices are also on the high side.

Some of the best selection in the city. Max was fantastic, with an impressive breadth of wine knowledge that helped us pick two incredible bottles.

I live in Kits and I belong to 2 international wine clubs, and our wine organizations have had fantastic advice and wonderful purchases for our wine events. This is an amazing wine store with an incredible selection of wines and sakes. The staff are exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. Shall I name all of the sommeliers?

There is a price range for every budget and options from BC and Canada; Portland and California; Chile and Argentina; plus Europe (Alba and Douro are my fav wine regions!) ; Australia and New Zealand; South Africa; and the list goes on.

(Extras: There are wine reps most weekends for sampling. Check with the managers.)

The store also sells wine bags, wine glasses, wine glass identifiers; etc.

The older guy working there can't seem to manage the basics of being polite and helpful. Avoid if you want a pleasant experience. Plenty of other options in the area.

Great selection of wines. All the staff have been helpful, but Ron has an especially nice demeanor. He helped recommend some wine pairings based on food and preferences, and everything was delicious and spot-on. He also had some great parenting advice to share. See you soon!

Use to be a great wine shop before it changed owners. Poor selection now with mostly unhelpful staff who know little with the exception of the English gentleman

Called today and extremely rude staff who didn’t want to answer if they carried a certain brand of wine. Sighed and hung up on me. I have never been so confused or taken aback. A friend then went in there and found the wine so they were lying. Whole thing was very strange.

I have wandered into this neighbourhood shop to peruse and purchase in the past, but today I was just so impressed with how caring and awesome the folks in there were. I'll definitely keep going back! (Oh yes, and great selection too:)

I used to be a big fan of this store for it's staff and selection however I recently visited and it seems that everyone quit at once and they had office people with no knowledge or experience running the floor. Tells me something isn't right in the ownership to lose all your staff at once

Good selection of wines and vintages. Has a refrigerated section. Decent prices given the upscale neighbourhood. Store shelving packed full making it difficult to navigate and slightly chaotic.

Too expensive. Everything is marked up. Great knowledgeable staff, great for a quick bottle on your way to a dinner party but it you are stocking your cellar, you will pay too much.

I would agree with the previous poster, customer service here has declined. It cost nothing to be friendly, especially at premium prices.

Given the older age of the staff, you'd expect great customer service. But unfortunately the staff come across as immature and anything but helpful. I asked to see if they carried couple of products and got condescending replies both times. They didn't even try to recommend any similar products. With their noncompetitive pricing and poor customer service, I wish them good luck.

I asked if Kettle Valley Pinot Gris was darker than most Pinot Gris. I get flushed and wheezy if it’s too dark. The man working gave me some long winded explanation about tannins and grape skin. I just wanted to know if it was light when it’s poured because the glass is tinted so you can’t tell. He said no.
I get home and and it’s super smokey and looks like a Rosé. It’s the darkest Pinot Gris I’ve ever seen! It was horrible and I paid too much for it as they jack the price up at their location. I just wanted a pale Pinot Gris from B. C. What a horrible place to buy wine!

Not a good store anymore. It used to be good with previous owners. Came here recently to buy a bottle of wine. Bought it to the cashier and a women started processing it then a rude man came and pushed her aside. He wanted to finished the sale. If that is how the men working here treat the women employees then they deserve no business.

The guys in here are really helpful. It’s got a full range of wines, ciders and champagne on offer that will suit every budget. I especially love their selection of Spanish reds at normal prices. If only the Burgundys were as accessible! They often do weekend sales on major holidays that’s always a good opportunity to try that wine you’ve been meaning to try that’s now a little bit cheaper.

Tempted to not give 5 stars as they no longer employ those two handsome Irish guys. Give the people what they want.

They thought I was shoplifting when I went toward the door to get my dog to stop barking outside. We laughed. Good product selection. Friendly staff.
