I’ll stop by there if I have to run into Langley just to see if there is any new tools I need in my life. Excellent store

All staff is very nice and friendly always welcome with a big smile but specially ‘David’ is a very gentle man is always help me and match the price with other competitors.

Very helpful and friendly staff, they had everything I needed and more. I was even able to order something they didn't have in stock, at a better price than I saw elsewhere.

Good selection of tools and one of the better selections around of wood working specialty tools. The montly flyer usually has some good deals.

Bought a heated Milwaukee hoodie 250$ from Kms broke in the first 6 months Kms online policy states they return anything that isn’t over a year old. Old sales rep I dealt with was incredible rude and condescending told me it wasn’t there problem to fix and that I was to take it to Milwaukee store. I’ve been buying tools from KMS for the last 15 years but I will no longer support this company… what a joke.

Cool store with lots of odd tools you might have trouble finding elsewhere. Wish their website could tell you where to find those odds and ends tools in the actual store tho haha.

I am so impressed with the young James (long time employee) of KMS Langley! His knowledge, patience, kindness, and all round customer service is outstanding! An extremely pleasant man! First and foremost, the Coquitlam KMS location has incredible customer service.hands down. Those that know will agree.

My past experience at the Langley store however hasn’t been great. I agree with the other reviewers that the Langley location has frontline staff that seem to be bored/ unhappy to be there. They aren’t very friendly and just want to take your money and have you leave the store ASAP.

However, recent visits have slightly improved at the Langely store. Their store is full of new inventory and staff have been more helpful and more friendlier than before. I welcome the change. Please keep it up.

Not a good store to buy tools better goto summit tools or somewhere else.they have better deals and good customer service, I have a very bad experience, I bought a compressor from them and they sold me saying that we offer you 2 years of warranty if anything happens to it, we'll cover and I dropped my compressor for repair, they put a old motor without my consent I just figured out by myself.they lied to me that we called you and explained you about the motor and all but I never got a call from anyone and moreover ended up paying $$ for old motor bcz they said we cant cover this part its expensive then what was the warranty about. It's kinda misleading i would never goto this store.

I’ve come to this store off and on over the years and have to say the service is so-so. You can tell workers there real don’t like their job. They’re clock watchers. If you want to see good customer service go to their Coquitlam KMS store. I was very impressed by the friendly and helpful staff there. Makes me want to never go back to the Langley store ever.

Usually my go-to for tools as they are a milwaukee dealer. After not seeing what I was looking for, one of the salesmen found one for me. After trying to sell us on two of them, we told the gentleman we didn’t want to wait and we’d just take the one. He DEMANDED I wait so he can find another. He disappeared for another 15 minutes before we left.
Home Depot just made 2 sales and KMS made 0. Shouldn’t be greedy and let the customers get what they want…

I’m very happy with the Dewalt scroll saw I bought here. I spoke with Chris on the phone before arriving, and when I came in for the purchase he helped me load the saw with stand and all into my car and was personable even though he had to be quick for the several other customers waiting for his help.

I will continue to buy tools here.

I went in to purchase jet belt/disc sander approx
$400 I was going to use a visa and master card gift cards as part of the payment, and was told our machines will not accept them? I live just down the street from this store very convient sad to say I will shop somewhere that does take them your loss kms.

Last week, bought a Magnum Drill Press & when unpacked, a Chuck guard was already broken. That can cause accident during operations. Needs to be replaced ASAP.

They advertise best value guaranteed I asked the salesman when I walked in if they price matched. He said yes. Then he spent a long time verifying the sale price at another store, I looked over and could see he was looking at the ad. I suggested he could phone twice he said he probably would all the time looking at this ad. After a while of doing nothing but going back and forth on the ad he told me he couldn't match the price.

Great spot for power tools, owner is very knowledgeable. The sales are great, and their regular prices are good too. If you speak with John he may even give you a discount.

KMS tools is a very good place to buy your tools. The staff there are extremely awesome when it comes to customer service. Let me tell you, I am impressed with the experience today (May 26) at Langley location. This store looks after its customers by their smart anti-Covid set up. Rude staff. Was given flak abou having my kids with me (they were quiet and didnt touch anything) as they were not "paying costumers". They'd rather you shop elsewhere if you're a single parent.

Staff was rude and not overly helpful. Made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them. This has happened on a few occasions and now also to my fiance. I'm sticking with Raider.

Better off buying cheaper products from Princess Auto. At least they warranty their own products. If you buy expensive name brand tools from KMS they will fail just as easily and they will do nothing for you. You would get better customer service buying off ebay or amazon. Hopefully these scam artists aren't around any longer.

Great store and Great Prices. They stand by their customers and help you out as best as they can! If you're looking for tools, skip the big box stores and head straight to KMS tools. All of their locations have left me with a good experience.

Worest customer service. Came for bottle refill and waited for 40 minutes, when I asked someone that why by bottle is taking time to refill, they said its refilled but still in back, they didnt bother to told me that its filled.

Then I asked the counter to return one cap I bought last week. They forgot to return it.

I asked someone Jordon there and he said to me go back in line again.

It has a horrible interaction with Jordon. When I asked him why my bottle was sitting in back and nobody bother to told me. He was like we can't bring bottle to front. I said ok but isn't someone's responsibility to let me know bottle is filled and you can have it. His reply was "it's a store policy".

I had to return it tool and I had to wait a half an hour before I could get any respond whatsoever and the manager didn't even speak to me she just walked past me I felt like I was begging and I spend my hard-working cash very poor return policy

Revised review.
My original review was at 3 stars but I have been forced to downgrade it to one and here are the reasons why.
KMS had advertised online a 2 pack battery from a Makita on sale for $179.99 while big box down the street had the same package Model # 196406-9 for $148.00. I brought it to the attention of John (Manager) and he did his thing on the computer and said for "each battery" the 2 would be at his cost $173.00 and that they could not go below cost. The only problem I have with this is that this is a promotional package from Makita as a twin pack not sold as 2 separate batteries. A quick search online shows at least 3 other vendors selling for less than "KMS cost". I have to say I'm not buying your cost scenario.
The second item that ticks me off a little is lack of greetings from staff.
So overall if you want good service and best pricing shop around as others are providing better than Langley KMS Tools.

First time and last time in that store. On friday i vent to buy table saw fence on sale $149, they told me not in a stock, but website shows 3. Vent home order on line that evening, on monday morning receive call from Langley KMS store to come in and pick my fence up. Obviously they have it on Friday but for some unknown reason i been told not in stock. Frustrated!

The service was top notch. They walked me through exactly what I needed to get the right compressor for my needs and it's been great so far. Prices were good as well.

Good service they are a bit steep for price on some items but great prices on other stuff lots of harder to find tools and worth checking out!

Ever since we bought our first house this has been my go to store. Used to shop at a different one but I really like the feel here. The staff are happy to help you find stuff and the atmosphere is friendly. Definitely my new fave place for discretionary expenditures.

Also, holy hell, the price differences on some things. FIL bought a 6" Milwaukee holesaw at Rona for $100. I check KMS and club price is $33.:

No stock on sale items. What's the point of sending the flyer to my house and then not stocking the items in the flyer? The counter guy acted like it was a big pain to order it in for me. If you don't value the business then stop sending me the flyers.

Good selection of tools from all kinds of trades - welding, metal work, automotive and wood working. Knowledgable staff and always great sales.
