Knead Registered Massage Therapy

I have been going to knead for many years now and I look forward to every visit! Every treatment is professional and the therapist are attentive to your needs. They each have a specific treatment style so whatever your issue I'm sure they can help!

I called to schedule in for RMT and was booked in with Rahim. He was very nice but I was not happy with the massage. When I called back to reschedule with another therapist, the reply I got from the receptionist was “oh, ok so you want a more traditional type of massage”. I told her yes and when originally booked, that is was what I’d expected to get. The response was that Rahim doesn’t give ‘traditional’ types of massages. I told the receptionist that this should have been mentioned when I first booked and that I’d like to be added to the cancellation list for the upcoming week. I received a call this morning at 11am saying they had an opening for 1130 with a more traditional RMT. I was okay with the appointment as long as I wasn’t charged the deductible for the difference my insurance wouldn’t cover because I was not happy with my previous massage. The receptionist, Erin, said she would have to make a call and get back to me. As the time was nearing that I would have to leave for the appointment in order to make it on time, I called back multiple times with no answer and was then told that the appointment had been filled. However, she did speak with both the managers but they were not able to provide me with a response regarding the refund/removing the deductible charge. I was told that a manager would reach out to me. At this point I’m not expecting much from Knead as the experience has already been very disappointing.

Today was my first time at knead and wow what a great experience! Curtis is skilled, professional, and has such a calm and relaxing energy. Best massage I have ever had! I will definitely be back again.

When we moved to Nanaimo, other recommended Knead. After being a regular customer for 2 years, I'd do the same. All of the RMT's that have treated me have been professional, knowledgeable, and skilled.

The front office staff are wonderful too! You can't get in as a new client now, but when you can, this is one of the best in Nanaimo.

I am a regular, albeit inconsistent, client at Knead and I absolutely love my treatments. My regular practitioner is Rahim and his services are life and body changing. I cannot recommend him enough.
I will also see other therapists when I want a more traditional massage and I have only had wonderful experiences each time.
The building and treatment rooms are clean and calming. The atmosphere at reception is professional and friendly.
The COVID protocols are reassuring that our wellness is important.

Amazing local spot for professional massage therapy, with a choice of multiple massage therapists each bringing their unique way of working/practicing, and now even offering acupuncture! Front desk staff are always smiling, friendly, professional and willing to go the extra mile to take of you on the administrative side. Clean washrooms and filtered water available, clean and sanitary waiting area, also offering therapeutic supplies such as heating pads, self massagers, foam rollers etc

I highly recommend Knead Massage to all of my friends and family. Rahim has healed me in ways I can not simply explain. I appreciate this business for caring for their patients, and for their comfortable environment.

Best of the best staff and practitioners. I am amazed at how much of a difference they have made in my crooked joints and muscles. Never a discouraging word from these guys. Bev's the best!

I recommend these massage therapists to literally everyone. I always leave feeling better than when I walked in.

Nice people and decent experience, one thing I didn’t like was the lotion or oils she used kept drying out so there was a lot of friction going on against my skin, and a few days after the massage some points she pressed on were in quite a bit of pain. I’ve been to multiple places looking for a new RMT but I don’t think these guys quite suit my needs.

Its a very good place to get a message and quite accessible as its near the streets. The parking is quite big and easy to park. The place is well kept and maintained. The staff are great and professional in their work. All in all good place to get a message.

I went for my 2nd massage today and have never in my entire life had such a great massage. I can stand taller and have no pain anywhere. I cannot say enough great things about Shelly or any of the staff at Knead!

Great therapists. But cancelling an appointment 2 hrs before due to a little snow. Is not kool. It stoped snowing 25 min before my appointment started and there was only 4 inchs on ground. After spending over 5k at the place last year as i dont have coverage im frustrated. Have cancelled all upcoming appointment and going to another massage therapist i will be
