Great vibes, courtyard surrounded by greenery and some string lights. Overall good for a pub on a university campus but the experience is more about the company you’re in than the food or drinks themselves, nothing I’ve had here has ever been bad but also not memorable

Not very many food options and fairly slow service. The big bottles of beer are great for groups though.

The food tasted good but had small portions. Not too much variety of menu items either. I ordered a single burger with fries. It tasted great but had a small serving size.

50/10! Seems generous but it is hardly an exaggeration. Great vibes and service with delicious food! Perfect spot for on campus downtime. Would strongly recommend going to the UBC Drag shows that happen here!

We hosted our wedding reception at Koerner’s Pub and everything was perfect magic! The entire team was so helpful, patient, and generous with their time! Many of our guests came up to tell us how much they loved the venue and the food and drinks! We also had about 20 kids at the wedding and they loved the pool table and the outdoor kids area the Koerners team let us set up! A million thanks to everyone at the Pub who made our night so dreamy!

Koerner’s pub is my go to for the BEST vegan tacos in the city! As a tasty side dish, be sure to order their yummy fries smothered in vegan mushroom gravy - truly heavenly! The prices and portions are very fair as well. The staff is always super warm and welcoming, and I greatly enjoy the pub ambience as well as the large patio surrounded by the lush greenery and mature trees. On a side note, be sure to check in advance to see if the pub is open as sometimes they host special events and will close for the day. This place is truly a hidden gem!

On UBC campus pub just across from Museum of Anthropology. Indoor and outdoor seating. Had live music outside but was difficult to hear over the crowd. Tacos was ok not great. Yam fries were very good.

We held our wedding here July 2022. If you are looking for a beautiful tucked away venue in the trees, with a laid-back feel, and delicious food Koerner’s Pub is it.

Ana, the Venue Wedding Coordinator, and the Loafe Catering team do a phenomenal job. Ana and her team set-up the venue beautifully with decor we provided and ensured that we were well taken care of before and throughout the day. We have multiple guests tell us how kind Ana was. She’s amazing!

Our guests continue to discuss all of the delicious food we had all night. Not your typical Koerner’s pub fare as it is catered by the Loafe Catering team and they knock it out of the park. The passed hors d’oeuvres, family style dinner, Earnest ice cream dessert, and late night snack. It all hit the mark. They’re also accommodating to those with dietary restrictions.

Some bonuses are getting to party until 1 AM, and being able to pick-up your things (i.e, decor) the next morning (Thank you, Regina!).

We had the best day and it all went smoothly thanks to everyone at Koerner’s for making it magical.

The staff here did the IMPOSSIBLE. They messed up the tacos so bad it's really difficult and gross to eat.
The staff is polite, hence the two stars instead of one. But the food is unbearable. I bought the beef and chicken tacos. The chicken tacos fell apart when we pick them up to eat. Then the beef were so salty and all of them already had a generous amount of very salty version of ranch so it's double the saltiness. I couldn't finish eating, it had to go to the garbage.

Good drink selection, Staff were nice.
It was also quite lively when we went for a comedy night! I recommend going for one of those if you can find another comedy night time!

We celebrated our wedding at Koerner's last week and it was absolutely magical. Ana and her team went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, from setup to decor and music. As a bride, it was so wonderful and I really could just sit back and enjoy the time with my husband and our loved ones. All of the staff were so friendly and enthusiastic throughout the night and our guests loved the venue and the food! Can't recommend them enough.

The food and beverages were great! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Excellent service and a great time.

Menu very minimal, only one vegetarian/vegan option (not even a veggie burger) though looking at the people who ordered the burger maybe that was a blessing as it did look pretty sad. The vegan taco was ok if that's your kind of thing, sweet potato fries and aioli were disappointing (a little burnt and only a very very small portion of aioli - one of those small ketchup cups half full). Staff are friendly and location is very pretty but food is pretty lack luster.

We booked Koerners for a wedding in Spring 2022. The entire staff was great. The Owner and manager were very nice, transparent and accommodating and the coordinator Ana did an amazing job - especially the day of the wedding - to make sure everything went smoothly and the details taken care of. The venue was great for a wedding and would definitely recommend it.

Love Koerner’s! All of their tacos are so delicious, but the Tai Tai is my favorite. The ambiance is perfect and everyone on the staff is always super friendly. Highly recommend!

They are totally not organized. I ordered fried with burger and they forgot the fries. My wife wanted cheese on her burger and their forgot the cheese. This is making you angry, not making you enjoy eating.

Slow service. We waited 25 minutes for burger and fries while the regular who ordered the same meal after us was served it 5 minutes before us while our food sat getting cold waiting for the girl to bring it out.

Staff were doing the bare minimum. Didn't greet or anything. The two front of house staff (male and female) were texting on their phones the whole time and touching their hair and faces constantly. Was pretty unsanitary. The washrooms were also disgusting. Staff were way too available for it to be that dirty.

Horrible service. I had to wait more than half an hour just to get my food! And it was just two orders.

Awesome selection of beer and they have a lovely outdoor patio! Colin the manager went above and beyond to make our visit special and provided great info about the UBC campus.

Slow service, tacos weren’t good and weren’t worth the price, but the ambiance is great. Probably wouldn’t come back other than to get drinks here.

Although the food taste great, I had to wait over 30min for a cheese burger. If you don’t have enough chiefs to cook food than don’t serve food at all.
