If you’re looking for a relaxing time - skip out in this one! The room is crammed full of people, and everyone’s basically sitting on top of eachother. Actual job of the nail tech was okay. They were 20 minutes late for my appointment, and seemed like a few others after me were also waiting awhile to receive service when they had booked appointments as well.

Today was my first time getting my nails done at Koko nails and I am sooo glad I was recommended here. Multiple coworkers of mine told me how great it was so I thought I’d try it out and I am so happy I did! My tech was Queenie and she was so great. She did exactly what I wanted and when the colour I wanted wasn’t available she was able to find a perfect replacement. I 100% will be coming back and I recommend this salon to anyone! My nails feel and look amazing.

All the staff here are very experienced no matter who does your nails I have always left with perfect nails and exactly what I wanted if not better. They are also friendly and polite which is not easy to find with nail salons. I’ve been coming here for the last 2 years and it hasn’t let me down once.

Been here a few times and depending on which nail tech you get, the result ranges from terrible to mediocre at best. Got acrylic nails the last time I came here and the nail tech was extremely rushed, rough and did a terrible job. I had to refile my nails when I got home and had to get them redone at another nail salon thereafter. Definitely do not recommend and will not be going back.

While my nails looked nice and all, the whole experience made me feel like I was on an assembly line. The place was packed, everyone pretty much sitting on top of one another. It was not relaxing or enjoyable. I won't be back.

This is the worst manicure experience I’ve had. The technician who did my nail did not have a good attitude and was very rushed. She nicked my cuticles, caused some bleeding but didn’t even apologize. It’s probably a hit and miss with what kind of service you’ll get, I do see other technician who are really thorough and good at what they do. Only go if you know who to book with.

I don't recommend the place, the staff are in rush, don't have patience to talk with you or wait for you literally even 2 minutes to decide about your nail design. The chellac is all chipped off after two days, while I haven't done any heavy works with my hands in these 2 days (haven't even wash the dishes, just attending 2 wedding parties). Also, my cuticles started bleeding. My nail technician was Rose. Not recommended at all.

First time at this place, and it was probably by far the worst experience I’ve had getting a pedicure. I scheduled a 1 hour deluxe pedicure for my friend and I for my friends birthday. We walked in, barely got greeted, and had no one confirm if we had an appointment or what my name was. Once we were sitting getting our feet done, there was no conversation, not even a hello or how are you. Half way through painting my friends toes, they realized they did the wrong service and instead of doing the correct service, they let us know that they are unable to do the deluxe pedicure. This is also after 2 customers walked in. During the service while they were taking the dead skin off of my friends feet they were very rough and missed a lot of it. We started our service at 12pm and finished at 12: 30, again it was a 1 hour service. We got half our service, and instead of accommodating the customers who booked an appointment, they decided to take walk in clients and rush our service. Honestly I’ve never had such poor customer service at a nail salon, from start to finish. I would just recommend going somewhere else.

I'm sad to say that our experience at KOKO Nail&Lash Bar was less than ideal. My colleagues and I had manicures. Our appointments were booked for 10am, when they open. The salon was dirty, dusty, nail clippings under my feet. I would have thought a thorough clean from the day before would have been completed.
The service staff didn't seem to know what they were doing - I picked a colour, which was in fact a chrome, and my service person didn't know how to apply it. There were at least four staff members gathered around me pulling my hands in all different directions. My colleague was cut quite badly - and they did not apologize. They also didn't discount the service, and she was left in considerable pain. Blood was dripping so badly, they had to finally offer a bandaid once we made a bit of a fuss. Not impressed. Won't be going here again.

Love each of the nail techs, they are all friendly and it's great to see familiar faces every time I go in.

Had a manicure at KoKo. The technician was super miserable and unfriendly. She didn’t even finish doing my nails before she moved on to the next person. Not even 24hrs later and almost all my nails have chipped. She also drilled my cuticles which ruined them further.

I did not have a great experience with my gel manicure. The nail tech did not listen to what shape I wanted, and also left me with very red and sore cuticles. I won't be going back. The salon was dirty and the staff were rude.

First time coming here today to get a new acrylic set, and I'm really impressed at how fast Rose got my nails done. I had acrylics nails on before, but the removal was swift and efficient and I also appreciate how careful my cuticles were trimmed. Definitely would recommend this place. I'm very happy with how my nails look. Big thanks to Rose!

Best nail salon in Brentwood and possibly Vancouver in general. Lots of new colors.
The owner of the salon is very easy to communicate with and helped make the schedule.

I come here often and they are always lovely! All the staff is super friendly, patient and helpful, with an excellent eye for detail. They always have fun new trends to try, I had glow in the dark nails last time and this time Rose gave me the most festive holiday nails with some sparkle and beautiful snowflake design. The quality of their work is always excellent. Highly recommend. They do except walk-ins but I recommend calling to make an appointment or calling ahead because they are always quite busy. Thank you so much for always helping me to leave with pretty nails that bring me so much joy.

I went to this place on October 17th to get manicure. When I sit down to get my nails done the nail tech tried to use tools from a box that was filled with clipped nails. Then I asked her if she could use a different (cleaner!) tool box she seemed bothered. I should have just left after seeing that toolbox full with clipped nails. Never going there again. I don’t recommend anyone to risk their health by going here.

Worse pedicure we ever got. Came in with a few friends for a pedicure. The technicians were rushing to get us out the door. We finished in 20 mins…. No foot scrub. No cuticle oil afterwards… I noticed my toe was hurting for some reason at home…the technician cut off my skin really deep. Never coming back…

The ladies at KOKO are efficient and very skilled at gel manicures! I have been here twice for gel polish removal, broken nail repair and new gel polish application. All done within one hour and for an extremely reasonable price! You can usually get a same-day appointment and they also serve walk-ins.

I have been to other nail salons where my cuticles were trimmed so far back that they started to hurt or bleed, or my nails were unevenly shaped, or the gel polish was applied sloppily so it started to peel from the base while it grew out. None of that has happened with my manicures from KOKO. Will definitely be back!

I had a pedicure here for the 1st time. The lady who did my pedicure cut very deep to the corner of my toe nail. My big toe nail was swollen and has been in pain for 3 days.

KOKO is amazing. They are quick, efficient and my nails did not chip after 2 weeks before I got them redone. It is also so clean in there. Highly recommend!

Came here for a manicure and pedicure the other day and walked away very happy. The woman I had did a wonderful job and will love to come back some day!

Booked an appointment for pedicure at 1pm. They were very busy but I was not a walk I. I had booked the day before. Kept getting told 5 more minutes but after waiting 25 minutes with no sign of anyone being near completed I left. I rushed to get there on time because I value and respect their time. They obviously don’t feel the same about my time.

I can't even put into words how much I dislike my manicure. I showed a very simple nail look with a neutral chrome color and my nails literally came out looking blue and dead. Looks nothing like the reference photo I showed. I won't be coming back.

I came here for manicure, pedicure twice and lash lift once. The manicure and pedicure were okay and I can give it a 4. But the very last time I went, they did a very bad job and 3 of my acrylics fell within a week. I also got my lash lift done here and they completely burnt them. You can see for yourself based on the pictures. I naturally have very long full lashes and wanted to get them lifted before my vacation to avoid putting on mascara but instead I was left with burnt lashes.

I followed Dina here from her old place even though it’s not as close by me. She is very talented and when I get dip or shellac mani it lasts. Never chips off.

Had nails done here about 1.5 weeks ago, the color already came off almost completely from a few nails. Quality of work was so so.

The location is very small and crowded. Upon entering you are not greeted but shouted from across the room to wash your hands. The pedicure chair I was placed in was put so far up against the wall that I had to sit in the chair at a 90 degree angle. So uncomfortable and not an enjoying relaxing experience. The nail technician was extremely soft and quick with the massage. I could barely feel her touch my leg. I asked if I could have a design on my big toe (takes like 2 minutes or less to paint on, I get pedicures on a regular basis) response was, no sorry other people are waiting. Rushed, uncomfortable and not a good experience. Only thing I liked was the convenience of the location.

This place has been my steady nail place for the last while, the location is very convenient and its very easy to make a booking. Though the area is getting busier and busier, it's not too much a chore to find parking in the area. Pricing I believe is fair for the area, I don't personally have a set person I go to but of the 3 different people I've had 2 were excellent and 1 was passable. It is note worthy that whatever issues I had they were easy and very willing to make right, even if it wasnt to my liking the first time around.

Koko Nail & Lash Bar is hands down the best place in Burnaby! The salon is clean and safe, and the staff are all incredibly professional, kind and talented at what they do. They really do care about giving you the very best service and it shows. Cannot recommend enough!

They did an awesome job on my nails, a bit pricey but worth it.

I have been to Koko Nails over 5 times now, and I have always had a wonderful experience. Everyone is so kind, and so helpful when I need guidance on wanting my nails to look good. They never rush and they take their time to make sure everything looks good. Koko Nails became my regular place for anything with nails, and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I had Mia do my nails today, I got a full acrylic set. When I showed up I was a little early but she got me started right away anyways. I showed her a photo of what i wanted done and she did exactlyy what I wanted. Couldn't be happier with my nails today. Highly recommend her

I started going to Koko when I moved to Brentwood and I haven’t looked back (unless they were booked up hehe). My favourite nail tech is Henry, he is so detailed and patient and I like funky nails and he does a great job (see photo - unreal!). Dina is awesome too but I don’t get to see her as much since she does lashes more often! Definitely recommend!:)

My gf booked two reservations for the koko manicure which is the basic manicure that we said we wanted. When we got there we AGAIN, confirmed we just wanted the basic manicure. I also made my nails super short, which made me pretty said when when told her I just wanted them file just a bit. *sigh, *, lots of regrets as we were deciding on another place as well. But what this place extra shady was it ended up being $55 and they said it's because they used gel polish. UMMM I've been to other places that did THE EXACT SAME THING the EXACT same process and it's only $25-30 with tip. Not worth it and pretty sad they want to charge $55 for same services that charge 20 else where.and a tip for the company, if you book guests for something and want to change it and charge them for something else, you should let them know and give them a heads up. It's super rude. My gfs cuticles were bleeding. Ah it was just lame in so many ways. She kept apologizing to me as we left since she choosed this place. I felt bad as I know she expected more. I told her there is a less bougie place with better service, better quality and half the price. Me and friend won't be coming back here again and will probably tell our gfs in Brentwood to avoid. Mind you the people were nice, and it was just ok, it's just the pricy is super shady, and lack of communication and understanding of what the client wants. If you charge double the price, we expect better.

I would definitely recommend this place. Easy appointments and everyone is so nice and understanding. Being a first timer, Dina, Mia and Cindy made me so comfortable and guided me about what would be the best option for me and at the end it turned out so well! I got full set acrylic nail extensions and I am glad I took their advice and it turned out to be so cute. I never felt I would get such nice nails. Thank you so much Mia. Also if you want to get best pedicure, Cindy is your girl.she gives the best massage and you can actually take a nap and feel relaxed while your feet are getting all nice and beautiful. It’s been almost a year that I’ve been going there to get my nails done,
Every time they acted like they’ve never seen me there (specifically the owner) but nothing was wrong with me I always paid a lot of tips for them even if they didn’t do a good job on my nails.
Last time viki ruined my long pretty nails it’s okay Because maybe she was in rush
I also didn’t bother her anymore because I felt she is in rush there was a hair under my gel nails and some other mess I also wanted some Christmasy things but I did a simple French and after 5 days 3 of my nails broke and my thumb fingers gel polish came off completely like a dead skin
And I was working so hard for Christmas and new year so I didn’t have time and the days I was free it was holiday and they were closed, I finally found a free time to go there I tried to call them and explain what happened but they said they’re fully booked and they don’t have time today to fix my nails

I went there in the morning before I go to work and they charged me 40$ because they cut my long pretty nails and put a base colour instead of my French nails
And now after 3 days my nails are broken again because they didn’t even fixed it they just cut it and put base colour
I’m not going to go back there again They made me feel so bad specially the owner

Got pedicures today with my sister. The lady I had was really nice. They turned out okay but I felt uncomfortable there. The salon itself is very small and not very clean. I didn’t see any sanitization solution, and the tools used were put back into a tray. The regular pedicure says 37 minutes but we were there for over an hour. I also noticed after my nails were dry that half of my pinky toe wasn’t painted. I got it fixed but I’m not sure how that would be missed? A few of my toes are also kind of sore/sensitive. It also seems like they don’t give themselves enough time between clients and jump to the next one quickly. Overall since it wasn’t very clean overall, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I can’t say enough the best things about Koko nails. I couldn't believe the amount of nail art talent that was in this place. Its was amazing jobs. Me and my bf always come here. I usually come with Dina. She was so nice, listened and kindness. Salon was busy with so many customer and so many color for Christmas. All the staff here are very friendly, and I’ve gotten to know most of them over the years. In the off chance I’ve had to go somewhere else, it’s never the same and I can’t wait to come back

My girlfriend asked me to give a feedback for her visit.
She was happy with her late visit before a wedding. She got lashes and nails done and couldn't be happier. Place has a nice waiting area for me to sit done and wait so I guess it's also a bonus.

I’ve really tried to like this nail salon, but am disappointed every time I go and will not be going back or recommending.

They are a higher price point than comparable nail places in the area.

They do a poor job with basic gel mani / reg pedi.

The customer service is awful.

My manicurist applied one color to some nails and two in others and scoffed at me when I told her. Which obviously resulted in uneven shades. She also over files my nails. I wanted square and kept rounding the edges when I asked her to stop.

The hand massage was pathetic and she abruptly stopped and said done and walked away. She did not apply cuticle oil, even though I could everyone else getting it.

She did such a bad job that now, three days after getting them done, the top coat is coming off and the nails look like dull and like they are 14 days old.

Waste of money.

I tried to call them to fix my broken nails but they just hung up my phone call.and they said I have to pay extra 7 for each nails since it has passed 10 days from the day I got service. They said they will offer me free for one nail if I get another service there. But other nail shop do fix your nails with no changes if you done it at there place. I don't like their service manner. It made me not wanting to go there again

Went in for a drop-in appointment and they were able to take me in right away. Got a basic shellac manicure and the technician, Rose, was super quick and thorough. Also super good value at $36. I would definitely come again.

I’m from Richmond, but I will only go to this place for my nails and lashes - the 40 minute drive will always be worth it. Dina, the manager of the salon, is the most kindest, caring, and hard working woman I’ve ever seen in all that I’ve been to! She’s so skilled and does both nails and lashes. And the rest of the team are all skilled and very good as well - it’s insanely impressive how they operate and can do the most gorgeous, blinged out nails, to simple looking ones. And for the lashes, they are perfect every time.

The prices are super reasonable too! For the quality and care you receive at this salon, it’s just perfect!

The interior is stunning also - very clean, well kept, and their supplies are always well stocked.

Needless to say, I’m VERY grateful to have a place that can do both my aesthetics! Not many are skilled at nails AND lashes! And the staff being so friendly and fun to talk to, is the icing on top!

I have been getting my nails done by the owner for over 10 years now and she is truly the best! Her and the rest of the staff always go above and beyond for all of their customers and make sure you are happy and satisfied when you leave. She has done a couple events for me and my family/friends and made it a truly special experience. The salon is also extremely clean and covid safe. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

I was so worried that I haven't done my eyelash extensions before my trip. Luckily, I found out this beautiful place. Dina was really professional, she tried to help me.she was so patient to figure out what I would like to refill my eyelash extensions. After around 2 hours, I was so happy with my new look and I was so excited ready for new trip. This salon is amazing and I highly recommend this one.

My gf had her eyelashes done at a different place and she wasnt happy with them we called few places and they told us since it wasnt done there they couldnt do it untill we called Koko nail and lash bar
They were very nice and they let us in pretty much the last minute she did a very a good job my gf was very happy and pleased she was very professional and friendly deft reccomend this place.

Lady who did my mani pedi was very rude and had a bad attitude. Scolded me for only giving her the number on the palette and not bringing the palette or colour to her directly. Also, she charged extra for ombré nails but delivered this instead (see photos). Even though I live nearby, I will not go back there again.

They have given me the best dip manicure on my natural nails. The polish is thin and smooth and last a solid month without lifting.always hooks me up with a fresh look and is super meticulous on the shape and filling. Love this place!

I have had mani's and pedi's done here and every time I've had a great experience. The owner Elly is a total sweetheart, very friendly. The girls who did my nails were very sweet. Great job and I asked for a longer foot massage (pregnant at the time) and it was no problem. Yes, their prices may be hiring then some place but you get what you pay for! I've gone to place in metrotown mall that are cheap and the service was horrible along with my nails!

Just walked in and got a great, quick gel manicure. Very reasonably priced and Dina, the new owner, is so sweet! It's a nice, clean place as well. I don't get my nails done often but I will be going back for sure!

Just moved into the area and this was the best nail place I found. Nice relaxed vibe and convenient location. Cindy does a great gel mani and pedi. She’s very meticulous. I love that the gel polish is all vegan & cruelty free! Sometimes the colors aren’t an exact match to the samples so check them first. The owner also does lash perm/lift and tint. So glad I asked as it wasn’t advertised on website. Now I can do everything in one place!

Came for a lash removal and it was pretty pricey. I didn’t see it at the time since the room was dark but there was still a lash still left on and glue residue as well! Not going to bother getting lash extensions here when they can’t get even get a removal done right.

Got the gel mani and pedi for summer - perfectly applied and gorgeous sheen. They lasted over a month without chipping until removal.

The women are so polite and friendly and they do such high quality work, whether it's eyelash extentions, manicure, or pedicure. They are all extremely well trained, which is why I come from Port Coquitlam to get my eyelash extentions done by Yumi the owner. I love this place!

OVER CHARGED! My friend and i went in to get our nails done separately with similar style. I then realized that hey charged one of us with $80 the other one $110. I regret giving them tips! MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT RIPPING UR WALLET WHEN YOU GO THERE.

I got lashes for the first time and was really impressed. Very meticulous and perfect job, you can tell they take pride in their work. They even had a second girl do my nails at the same time so I could save time. I swear they put like 8 coats on my nails so I’m sure they will last a long time, I’m a week in and they look as fresh as they did the first day.
