Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba - Kitsilano

Came in after we couldn’t get in at Danbo. Initially I was hesitant to try fry ramen but I was blown away. It was savoury, saucy and very warming like you’d expect ramen to be. I got the chefs special (XL size) and it was so filling plus you get extra rice for the leftover sauce at the end. The value for the amount of food you get is insane. Definitely not a common thing in Vancouver restaurants nowadays.

Service was excellent and the atmosphere is very cute. Looking forward to coming back!

Multiple times the food was like warm, both the ramen and mazesoba. Slower service than wanted, but the interior is fun and welcoming.

The first time I tried out this spot, I ordered the Spicy Zenbu Mazesoba XXL (free noodle up size) and at the end, to top it off you get a small bowl of rice to mix it in with the remaining sauce. It maybe a bit heavy for some people but was delicious, the noodles was chewy and not soggy. Friendly staff and great service, I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Seats are enough. Service is good. Food tastes good, but I’m shy to say that I have a slight feeling of diarrhea. My child doesn’t have the same feeling. I will try again.
Third time to there, diarrhea again. Won’t go there anymore.

Decided to come to Kokoro's newest location. The atmosphere and decor is much different compared to the other locations as it is not as "aesthetic" but I still very much like the vibe. There was ample seating and did not feel too tight or close to my neighbours.

Ordered the Niku Mazesoba and decided to try the Original ramen. The food quality and taste of the mazesoba was the same as the other locations; overall pretty good and would get it again. The original ramen on the other hand was a bit mediocre and definitely not as good as Danbo’s. I thought the soup base could use a bit more flavoring as it did seem a bit bland. The noodles were cooked well and cha siu was alright.

Service was great and easy to flag down servers who were mighty helpful!

A fantastic mazesoba place with a very consistent taste across all locations! They have a great price for the quality and portion, as well as some amazing milk tea. I highly recommend their chashu bowl as well:)

Food is good, but nothing spectacular. I recommend getting ramen from Danbo next door instead. Probably won’t come back. But great service and very cool atmosphere!

Mazesoba is a noodle dish which is designed to be served without soup. It might be new and different, but try it. You wouldn't go to a burger place and ask for pizza, right? ! Try what they're suggesting and experience something different!
The noodles come almost like a rich sauce based dish, and there's even a little bowl of rice offered at the end to 'mop up' remaining sauce, which is a great idea. Spicy chicken karaage had a good crunch and sauce which wasn't overpowering, the noodles had a choice of size and were very generously portioned

First time eating Mazesoba and loved it. Being a fan of ramen, I had my reservations trying the no-soup noodle dish but it was surprisingly good. Tried Spicy Mazesoba and my brother tried vegan ramen and both of us liked the dishes.

We were tired of waiting at Ramen Danbo, so we decided to check out this place. I got the kokoro ramen. The noodles were really starchy, and the the charshu was just ok, and the broth was not bad. Was kind of disappointed. Not sure how it got such high ratings. If you want ramen, go to Ramen Danbo instead.

Kokoro @Kitsilano is truly a hidden gem! I went to 4 different locations and this particular location offers the best ambience. Their staff members were very attentive and their foods are always top notch!

Originally we aimed for the ramen shop next door but happy we ended up here. The mazesoba (ramen without soup) was a great experience even for a ramen addict like me. Tasty new interpretation of the dish. A bit heavier on the garlic side (if you wanna go somewhere afterwards).
The staff is very friendly and there is a nice japanese wipe decoratiion. Just the music was a bit too much western pop for my liking.

It was surprisingly good! Mazesoba bowl was tasty and the ingredients were well cooked and sauced up. Tea in the plastic container was hip too!
