Service was not great to be honest. I went there on a busy night and there were only two waitresses and i know that the service will be slow and i didn't mind that because i know how it is when there are so many customers and deliveries. But to the point that it wasn't even busy and the two waitresses was on their phone, chatting with their friends who came and forgot some of the orders that we didn't even receive yet is disappointing. There are several times i had to stare and even put up my hand to get their attention but to no avail it took at least 10min or so for them to come over. Food is good but service and quicker attention from the workers can be improved a little bit more.

Around 8 o'clock on 10/23, I received the worst customer service from two servers. For a long time after we sat down, they didn't look at us at all. I knew it was rude to call him, so I held back and gestured to him to take my order, but he didn't even look at me. Do not look at customers without asking them to wait. Unlike other restaurants, there is no table check at all after ordering. The food was also the worst. The side dishes and rice were so dry that I lost my appetite. They were really hard. I went back there because I remembered the delicious food I had there before, but I have no intention of coming back again, even because of the two people who served me today, and I will also tell my friends not to go there either. Even when paying, I kept waiting and looked at the staff, but they ignored me and just cleaned their spoons. Please, please check the table. The tip was such a waste. Still, I paid 15% as a courtesy. I was so embarrassed by my Japanese friend who went with me. I saw him change his attitude completely without even saying a basic greeting when I gave him a small tip because he was so disappointed. Please first think about why you receive a low tip. Do you think we're asking for great service? Basically, we expect the server to do what it should do. I have no intention of ever going back to a place that doesn't even say hello and ignores customers.

Nice restaurant in downtown Vancouver. Great option for classic Korean dishes, and quiet enough considering how close it is to a busy street.

We had the beef brisket skillet, and it was absolutely amazing, made many lettuce wraps and enjoyed it with rice.
It was all delicious and there's little room for improvement because it was pretty much perfect!
Would go again and would highly recommend this place.

Restaurant doesn't have a sanitizer in this pandemic world and even when asked for it, they are saying sorry we don't have it. Sounds so professional.

Delicious Korean food, but slightly more expensive than a few other Korean restaurants that serve similar food/quality. Also, the portions are a little bit small. Having said that I highly recommend the Pork Belly, and the Military Soup! Two of my favourite dishes. My only feedback is they use cooking onions quite liberally with the pork belly and often times it's a bit excessive. I will make sure to request less onion next time but otherwise it is very delicious. Also, the pork belly has five layers (ogyeopsal), which may be different than what you may be used to 3 layers (samgyeopsal). I prefer the 5 layers (thick pieces with skin) so Kosoo is my go to place for pork belly. The atmosphere is quite busy on peak times and the wait can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour on average. Servers are friendly and the seating area is okay (kind of squished).

Soondae very good, galbi decent, raengmyon terrible. Nice atmosphere and staff were pleasant. A little expensive for what it is.

Ordered the rose tteokbokki, japchae and beef brisket budae jjigae and they were all really good!

Our server was amazing, and made recommendations based on my dietary restrictions. Had a great time, and will definitely be back!

After reading the recent reviews, it seems that the service has been really bad for everyone too.honestly, the food was average and the service was terrible.took so long to get seated and the server was kinda rude and didnt take our order for a very long time.she forgot about my drink and i only ordered a pop, it was sitting meters away in the fridge and i could have gotten it myself.they were also sold out of pork belly rice bowl dish but still had the pork belly with kimchi which didn't really make sense because they had pork belly? So strange.anyways, doesnt do korean cusine justice, service is bad.go some where else

Tips are automatically included with four people. However, service was very bad. She never came to our table. I wouldn't recommend for this restaurant if you are looking for good service.

Fantastic!
Went in and most of the other customers were Korean which is always a good sign. I ordered the Boneless Supreme Fried Chicken and it was absolutely delicious. Fair price, good service.
I would definitely return.

Carbs explosion
Robson st have so many good Korean food. Kosoo has two locations and it has been popular for a while. I visited Kosoo’s old location with my friends and ordered their signature dishes.

Jiajiang Tteok-Bokki
This pot is mind blowing. It has: ramen+gyoza+sticky rice stripes+jiajiang sauce+fish cake. Name it carb
Not too salty, huge portion and have everything you expected.

Beef Tartare Bibimbap
Yummmmm! I love this more that the pot! Rare beef’s natural sweetness and their special bibimbap sauce, yo I am mouthwatering editing this. They have fried eggplant as a topping, love love love

Rice Wine
Low in %, suitable for a refreshing drink. But so overpriced. Understandable though

The reception girl was really impolite and rude. I just simply asked if there was paper menu and she was literally like: whatttt? No! Hey do u really need to react like that? I feel offended so I ended up giving them only 10% tip at check out and she literally looked at the bill and ignored us again.no thank you no goodbye 2 stars only for the food.and not thinking coming back again

Ordered Dduck galbi because on the Ubereats it said, popular menu. When I receive it’s so little petite, small, tiny 7pcs which is valued 18$. Called the restaurant see if this is correct amount they said that’s correct amount. I wish that I can include photo here. Overall, I like to order food here but this dish is just ripping off.

Terrible beef bibimbap.it's not a traditional korean bibimbap which is popular in korea. It's just mixed with low quality beef, carrot, hot sauce. Order other menu, except bibimbop.

I’ve never really gone out for Korean before. The truffle pasta was a bit strange but really tasty. The rice noodles threw me off a bit. The fried chicken was fantastic.

Just went over there for lunch today. Waitress was absolutely lovely. Very copious and tasty. We will be back

Delicious delicious food! Nothing more to say here. Come hungry. Would love to recommend specific dishes but they are all in Korean and it’s hard to remember lol
