The food was amazing. I wasn’t expecting this level of taste and quality. The serving size was also more than I could finish. Overall amazing and definitely the best bang for your buck! Staff was very friendly. Thank you Koya Coquitlam!

The food was delicious, the service was quick and the prices was reasonable. I’d definitely recommend it for casual meal out.

The staff were polite and fast that’s what the 2 stars are for …: the food, I understand inflation but it was a rip off. You pay $18 for a container of rice and cabbage, with 3 small cut up broccoli, very little mushroom, and 1 scoop of sauce. It wasn’t seasoned or anything … but I guess it is mall food so can’t expect too much more … but still left feeling like I got ripped off.

Good portions, good taste. Will come back here if I’m craving for teriyaki. Yummy! I really love their chicken teriyaki.

Friendly enough place.be warned, though, the amount of meat given, even at extra meat, will be lacking.a little skimpy.

I've known Koya Japan in Coquitlam centre for more than 3 years now and its still one of favorite places to eat in Coquitlam Area. Teriyaki beef is always my pick, love the flavor of the grill!
Not to mention people work here are always so nice!

We are a long time customer of Koya and have never once been disappointed with the service or food. Staff is always friendly and food is always fresh and prepared right infront of your eyes. Excellent quality and service and definitely our favourite food stop in the Coquitlam centre food court.

When I work in Coquitlam every time, I must go to Kota to take my lunch because the food is very delicious. Specially I really like Salmon teriyaki.

This is absolutely appalling. My daughter went there with 1.5 year old and had teriyaki chicken. He started having an allergic reaction to the sauce and everywhere it touched his skin turned red. She asked for an ingredients list as she was bringing him straight to the doctor in the mall. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE IT TO HER! Hello? A baby is having an allergic reaction to something in the sauce! What is wrong with you people! Im going to take this further too!

They dont mix the ingredients, they just put it in your plate, the noddles were not cooked enough

I took a napkin for some food and I was asked to not just take its personal property wow, It’s sad to see: (I put it back went to the next food company and said have a nice day here you go thank you.

Zero stars if I could. Terrible staff and food. Short Asian serving up food is unclean and rude. Chicken curry was bland and expensive. This dive shames Japanese cuisine. Avoid.
