That was a interesting experience,
Great selection, found some 80s originals, came out with smiles on our faces,
Bob you are a breath of fresh air thank you for the entertainment

This was the most bizarre, uncomfortable simpsons level clown circus shopping experience ive ever had in my life. No need to elaborate on it as every other review here says it all. Truly baffling how a store like this remains open

Bullies his own customers, inappropriate jokes, age discrimination, charges fee for entering store.

Love him and the shop, will definitely be back. Got a mystery wrapped gift with our purchase and it included one of my all-time favourite CDs. Maybe Krazy Bob is also Psychic Bob?

You’ll find more than just LPs and CDs here. It’s full of curios and collectibles, the more you look, the more you find. It’s hard to leave without finding some special treasure and if you don’t, you’re probably not looking hard enough. Go here if you’re interested in an uncommon shopping experience that you’ll not soon forget and will be telling your friends about. If you prefer the mundane, big box, corporate, plastic way of shopping, then it may not work for you. If you want something fun and unusual, then go and tell Bob the proprietor that you’re ready for exactly that and he’ll oblige. It’ll depend on your own attitude and expectations and how open you are to not being overly serious.

Had the greatest time here a few weeks ago! Great selection, well organized and fairly priced. Krazy Bob is a riot and the place is a full experience. We need more fun people and places like this in the world. Can’t wait to go back!
Re: negative reviews, can’t please everybody I guess, especially grumps.

Had an incredible experience at Krazy Bob's. I could understand how his antics might repel some, but if you have an idea of what you're getting into, you'll have an amazing time. I don't think I've ever met anybody like Bob before. He has a vast knowledge of music and art and will happily help you find whatever you're looking for, and even make some recommendations based on that. I spent about an hour and a half in his store and had a smile on my face for the whole duration of my time there. Let Bob joke with you and joke back with him and you'll have a great time! Decently priced records and a mind boggling selection. Wish I lived closer so I could go every week. Thank you for the experience and the laughs, Bob!

Krazy Bob's is an eclectic assortment of records, memorabilia, and other objects from yesteryear coming together in a cacophonous cavalcade that leaves shoppers at best entertained and at worst confused. However - above all else - Bob's has something your big box record store lacks: heart and character, which the staff behind the counter, on the floor and even on the microphone (yes, there's a live show) provide in spades.

This place isn’t just a Record Shop, it’s and experience. From the minute we approached the door it was like stepping into a carnival atmosphere. Bob is a total character, he greets you with such excitement and enthusiasm. You feel like he’s truly happy you’ve entered his little shop of wonders.

We will 100% be making another pilgrimage.

No. I just say no to some angry antifa clown preaching at me for 10 minutes in hopes I'll flip a twoonie his way. If people want this, good for them, enjoy. However this guy spills himself onto the street, plugs in a mic and talks at people trying to visit other merchants. Crossing the line. Very opinionated guy who is clearly sad and pained, seems uncomfortable is his own skin and I dont blame him. All the more reason to keep himself in his hole not forcing others to decide what to do about him. No idea how this store makes money. Tries to charge people $2 to enter his store but only if they first tolerate a speech. The only entertainment is watching their faces turn from "oh this could be fun.to what the.to OMG this guy is crass". Bob checks ID for kids and allow "no minors" without parent. This reeks of court order. Can someone not be around minors? I've heard rumours, be wary.

I went to Krazy Bob’s store to check out the music selection there. I brought my two boys with me. Like most used record stores there was a large selection of music but most of it of little value. There were thousands of records just gathering dust. Regardless, my one boy was looking at his phone while I searched through the store. The short older gentleman who works there told my son to put away his phone. Whether my boy chooses to be on his phone or not is not for him to decide. This was rude & now they have lost three customers. Way to go Kramky Bob.

Highly Eccentric Bob's Music Emporium is an unusual place to visit. It may not have the selection you're looking for - though I did find a stack of early/mid-80s vinyl - but you're not there for the collectibles. Take your Ticket. Don't lose it! Take a ride with Bob. It might be couples therapy; it might be a team building exercise; but it's not just a record store. Now you know.

Krazy Bobs is awesome, excellent atmosphere, Bob will make you laugh, tons of items to buy, totally recommend this place

Lol, there are some VERY and I mean VERY accurate descriptions of what you might experience at Krazy Bob's written here. It may just be me, but it didn't really bother me. I can tune it out. If I had a choice, I wouldn't live through it, but I "get" the shtick and can out Krazy the best of em. Just be equally loud and focus on what you are looking for. I can handle it, I can see how it may be off putting to some, but let it be known, the KRAZY is not a gimmick. A VAST array of CD's and records and tapes. Awesome selection of comics, plus you get freebies after you buy. ALSO an awesome little Dachsund sits behind the counter. He came and visited us and we love him. I found great stuff.

Horrible experience. Staff was extremely unprofessional. I have only went once and that was enough, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Been there a few times, try to get there when it firsts opens in the morning. Nice and quiet until the owner shows up. He is a Krazy Bob for sure. Couple of times I was ready to buy a few comics, but basically ignored at the cash register waiting for the song and dance show to end on some new customers that were just entering the store. Thats ok, I get it. Didn’t realize he was charging people $2 to come in. Its a strange concept. Every time I have gone he either complains that I brought a small flat bag in with me to put my purchases in or that I was in the way. Prices were high. One item I purchased was miss-priced, told me that someone tampered with the sticker. Ok, sure, but seemed to think it was me. Repriced it based on a price guide. Still bought it because even though he did raise the price a bit to suit his arrogance, it was a decent deal. Last time was the final straw. Went in with bag in hand when the store opened, nobody hosting the door, came in. Saw the bag in my hand and then chastised me for not checking in. I left, telling him that he is questioning my integrity and that I wont be back. He handles customers poorly, IMO. If you like this sort of thing, ok, but will no longer be a paying customer.

I've been in this store twice in my lifetime, first time to sell, got pennies on the dollar.whatever, second time, many years later, to buy with my family, worst retail experience ever, you get accosted at the door by a loud-mouthed owner doing card tricks, telling terrible jokes and just after covid, a person who insists in being IN YOUR face with his coffee breath, you finally get into the store, what a mess, items are WAY overpriced, I will not be back, so many other places to see.looking at other reviews, it seems he either gets 1star reviews or 5star.can I have what the 5star reviewers are smoking, as it must be GOOD stuff!

People who don’t like Krazy Bob’s Music Emporium definitely don’t season their food. This place is a lot of fun and has personality. I’ll be coming back for sure!

Krazy bob dropped buncha words to me & cave man, I pondered it for a week and think I finally understood him

Sensory stimulations replace adventures, vanity and stoic indifference override wisdom, humans were once condensed by moralities and arts, now that technology decomposes. Are disintegration, segregation and fragmentation of our entire race irreversible? What about subjectivity and consciousness? Science > technology > subjectivity > existence?

We are programmed to only know the here and now, but we weren’t taught how to be present. From my observation, science can only prove the hard facts that it can prove. There are some things that cannot be explained away by science. We are taught and told we only live one life. I have to negate that, linear time does not exist outside this realm on Earth. Linear time only exists in our linear reality. We live infinite lives, just one at a time. And some humans live more than just one lives in a lifetime. We are here to know through love and to be loved, to find happiness, help others, and evolve. So Krazy bob wanted me to think about the time I came into the world, and into conscious reality. Which is what this is right now.

As soon as I entered the store, I was greeted with a charismatic, eccentric and bewildering introduction by Bob himself. He let myself and the person I had entered with choose a card, as if he was pulling some sort of magic trick before welcoming us to find our way through the store. With an introduction like that, how could we not give him the time of day and look through the vast collection of music before us?

I must say, at first I found it a little difficult to navigate and attempt to find what I was looking for, but I soon came to realize that the store was set up this way in order to allow you to search through the music and maybe come across a hidden (and reasonably priced) gem. I can understand how this experience may not be for everyone, but genius is not always easily understood.

If you're in a rush and can never take the time to stop and appreciate life, this may not be the place for you. But if it is, you'll most likely come out with a very positive and memorable experience thanks to Bob himself. Under his eccentric and comedic personality is someone who is very passionate and knowledgable about what they do. If he likes you, he may even throw in a gift and valuable life advice. You wont find an experience like this in any other music store in the lower mainland. It's a great place for a date as well, as long you aren't afraid that Bob may outshine your own personality.

My friends and I went to Langley this week, we’re from Prince George. And we’re like wowed by all the comic in the shops window so we decided to take a look but as soon as we step foot in the door this dude yells at us for being minors then calls my tattoos ugly. Definitely not a place I would recommend. This dude should be able to read peoples reactions and vibe with the people who enjoy the experience and leave alone the people who just want to take a look around.

Bob makes you pay $2 to go in he’s working. I went in once with a different person who was cool and didn’t make me pay.

Bobs rationale was that it keeps the lights on and the rent being paid. Here’s the thing. If your store is so low on money that you need to make customers PAY to come in, maybe rethink your business. It’s a bit sad to be honest, but hey, justinflation doesn’t discriminate.

The stuff inside is nothing special as well as a bit overpriced. I wouldn’t go in again for free, let alone pay $2 to enter. There are much better record stores that aren’t this bush league. Go somewhere else if you value your time and money.

This is the place! Amazing selection and Bob makes it an experience! Just go and enjoy the ride.

Weird owner who publicly shamed us for not knowing about the $2 per person entrance fee (who charges money to enter a store?). I guess they have the right to do that but it was extremely insulting (and borderline discriminatory) to be ejected from the store. Never felt the need to write a review until now

Wonderful change of pace with a great selection. I couldn’t actually tell if Bob was “Krazy” but I will go again. Meeting Bob was really funny. Lots of vintage music
