Absolutely horrible experience. I wish I could delve into all the problems I experienced with this.repair shop. Alas, I do not have enough time in my week.

Please save yourself from:
7. A series of headaches

I used this smart start subcontractor. He cancelled my install appointment just as I arrived so that he could take a more profitable auto mechanic client. He blamed smart start for the cancellation however he didn't inform me of any cancellation when I arrived until after he tried to over charge me saying my vehicle was a "specialty vehicle". When I asked smart start ahead of time and they confirmed it was not. I called smart start once he said the appointment was cancelled and they said he had cancelled. He was very rude and became angry when I couldn't understand his very broken English as I was trying to get answers as to what happened with my appointment. In the end I was forced to make a new appointment elsewhere.
This shop is very very unreliable, shady and doesn't deserve any business.

Completely ignorant. Have waited multiple times for over half an hour for appointments that were scheduled. Nobody even had the common courtesy to even say they would be a minute or even hello or anything. They don’t care. Do not use this shop for smart start service. They also couldn’t bother to record my kilometres properly, when I went to Cory in Chiliwack (who was fantastic) he pointed out that the kilometres they had recorded were higher than my actual Ks. They just don’t care. Pretty sure they overcharged me for my install as well, saying my 2002 Acura was a “special vehicle”

Absolutly brutal customer service and manner in which they talk to customers. I wouldn't recommend this place to a single soul!

Update: . To clarify I have no issue with smart start, I have found them to be helpful and professional. However this specific auto repair shop is so bad I was REFUSED service unless I went online and apologized for my negative review and took it all back. The mechanic was blackmailing me not to share the truth of my opinion with anyone. Saying my bad review negatively effects his business. I said "no, your bad attitude is! ". Can't believe that he thinks bullying customers to stay quiet will work.
I'll drive however far I have to in order not to go here ever again!

Thank you for the response which appears to be copy and pasted from everyone else who got treated unfairly here. I DID contact smart start and my issue has never been with them but the way in which you treat customers of smart start who have the unfortunate struggle of dealing with you and your shop. I also don't appreciate being bullied into apologizing by you telling me I write an apology or go elsewhere. You make it an easy choice with blackmail and attempted intimidation. I've never been so dissapointed in a lack of professionalism and fairness until I got this guy trying to get away with terrible behavior and bullying customers to keep quiet. Nice try but not going to be made to keep quiet.

Staff are friendly, waiting area is clean with a few amenities to keep you comfortable while you wait but wait is what you will be doing! I found them to be very slow.

Told me the job would take 2 hours to complete yet it took 6 hours to complete. They LOVE their breaks!

All in all a decent shop if your not in a rush,

Best and reliable service in town. I was on vacation and as a tourist I didn't know where to go when my car broke down and I happened to go to k and s auto, owner of this shop Garry is best person and mechanic. I would say best auto repair shop to go.

LIFE SAVORS! - My car died on my way to work and would not re-start. I had no idea what to do. I called K&S Auto and they took care of everything! They had my car towed in, diagnosed and called around for the best deal on parts. Turns out my Transmission kicked the bucket and had to be replaced. They had me back in my car 48 hours after it died. Also being a WOMAN with little vehicle jargon - they explained everything and answered all my 100's of questions. Best experience in the worst situation. 100% referring everyone to them!
