Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Surrey - White Rock

It was a great decision to send my son to this centre. He is happy here learning to read a lot and making progress quickly. Shanker the instructor and his team members are very friendly, patient and considerate to students and parents. Meanwhile, they are strict with students on academics. Highly recommend!

I studied both Math and English at this centre from grade 6-10. Throughout those years I developed exceptional English and Mathematical abilities, allowing me to excel in school; taking courses up to 2 years above my grade level. Kumon does not only help with academics but instills self-discipline, confidence, and motivation. All qualities I could slowly see build into my day-to-day life. However, both programs require persistence and a positive attitude. The material may be challenging at times but completing the program is easily attainable with practice, perseverance and the supportive and friendly environment at this centre.

One year's experience in Kumon made me feel that learning process was more friendly and humane than I imagined and heard. My kids liked the learning atmosphere there and saw great progress with the patient help of the coacher. Thanks to Kumon for all helping and efforts putting to the kids, it is definitely a trusted learning institution.

This is an excellent centre. The communication is great and the staff is very accomodating. Our son loves doing his Kumon here.

We enrolled our daughter for reading program in this center since last year. We can see her big improvement in her reading skills. Teachers are nice and will give you the feadback about the children's learning. With more continuous practice at home, my daughter made progress in her reading. Highly recommend for children's learning!

My daughter has been a regular student of Kumon centre. She joined Kumon during Nov/December, 2022 and we have seen a significant development in her reading pattern. This is happening all due to excellent supervision and guidance by the centre supervisor (Shanker and his team). They are an amazing team and are helping in grooming each child, basis their level of understanding. I highly recommend this centre!

Very good place for kids. Shanker is super nice and very helpful. Kids love to go there. At the same time they will have to make commitment for doing homework every day at home. We highly recommend kumon for kids who would love to practice daily.

I was a Kumon student at this centre for thirteen years and it has definitely had an undebatable impact on my life. In the early elementary school grades I was moved down in reading groups as I struggled with learning to read. However, through the encouragement of staff at this centre, I put more time and effort into my Kumon work. Soon, I became a straight A student and remained so for the rest of elementary school and high school. I am now studying at McGill University in the Biomedical Life Sciences program where I am finding skills from both the math program and reading program to be helpful on the daily. The management staff at this centre know what they are doing. Trust the process, put in the effort and you will see results! I highly recommend this centre!

Our daughter has been attending the reading program at the South Surrey Kumon location. Within the past 2 months, we have noticed a boost in her confidence with her own reading and writing skills, she enjoys attending, and the best part is that she has the insight to recognize the benefits herself. We enrolled our daughter in the reading program in the summer. We are already seeing a great improvement in her reading skills. We are particularly impressed that Ella is able to write so well. This centre is close to our house and we find it convenient to drop Ella off after school. We will highly recommend Kumon to parents looking to advance their childs education

I have been doing Kumon at this centre for a long time now. It is very organized, and the centre is well laid out for students to do their homework. The math program was especially helpful to me because it made my math classes a lot easier to get a good grade in. I already knew the concepts we were learning because I already did it in my Kumon worksheets. I was able to go above and beyond and get a better marks. The reading program helped me in my early years with my reading and writing skills.

My children have been with this centre for the past 5 months. We were at another Kumon centre in another city previously, and this one is run much more efficiently and much more attention is given to my kids.
The instructor really cares about their well being, their performance and their ability to cope with both Kumon and school work. We like the periodic updates we get from the instructor. I feel like they have a renewed interest to learn, and they already have shown an improvement with both Math and English.

My two children have attended this center for over 2 years now and we absolutely love it. The Staff goes above and beyond to accommodate and provide any support my children need. They are excited every week to go in and see the staff and complete their work! The Kumon Math and Reading is highly recommended!

I've been a student at the South Surrey-White Rock Kumon for many years, and have experienced the difference it has made on my education. Reading and Math skills have of course immeasurably improved, but my work ethic and independent learning skills developed as well. Throughout my years here I have learned to solve problem individually and to persevere through practice.
Cannot recommend enough, great experience for learning.

This is a well run centre and Shanker is a professional instructor to deal with. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to further their childs learning through the Kumon program.
