Kumsheen Rafting Resort

We had Hannah guide us down the rapids, she did a 10/10 job! I got an unexpected souvenir! What a rush!

Went to Kumsheen Rafting as a work event.
We had the best time! Our guides Conner and Taija were super knowledgeable and friendly. They ensured everyone was feeling safe and excited the whole time. They were both very familiar with the river and even gave us a little history lesson while traveling down.
Couldnt stop smiling the whole time, need to go again. Would recommend this place to everyone.

The power rafting was so much fun, and our guide Mary told us lots of cool details along the way. The food tasted great, especially the desserts! Because they are canvas cabins, there are lots of bugs inside and it gets freezing cold in the mornings. However, each cabin has a bit of electricity from the solar panels to charge devices (but not enough to for example power a kettle), and the string of lights inside the cabin makes it super cozy in the evenings!

Stayed three nights during a wedding. Was truly an unparalleled experience. Awe-inspiring. We stayed in teepee 4, arguably has the best view on the grounds.

We went power rafting with the wedding party and it was a unreal. Such a unique perspective seeing the Thompson from the water up. Cannot recommend enough. Would love to come back and try my hand with a paddle.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The teepees have all you need, towels, extra bedding, ear plugs if needed. Etc.be aware the teepees don’t have outlets, where the canvas cabins do.

Lots of games on the grounds like disc golf, volleyball, horse shoes, and cornhole. The hot tub was huge and could accommodate lots of people.

Anyways all round was a great spot for a wedding. And for a fun vacation with gorgeous scenery and lots to do.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Kumsheen Rafting Resort in Lytton, BC for a bachelorette party, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an enchanting atmosphere.

The yurt cabins we stayed in were not only adorable but also provided a cozy and comfortable retreat. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail from the resort's staff. They even supplied earplugs for the passing trains!

Our rafting adventure along the stunning Thompson River was an absolute highlight. Our guide, Hannah, was an absolute gem. Her infectious enthusiasm and knowledge of the area made the experience even more memorable. She skillfully navigated the rapids, ensuring our safety while also encouraging us to have a blast. Hannah's friendly and personable nature added an extra touch of joy to our trip.

The Thompson River itself was breathtakingly beautiful. The pristine waters, with a view of the Thompson river you’ll only get from a raft. I have often driven the canyon but never got to experience the beauty this up close.

Kumsheen Rafting Resort deserves nothing less than a five-star rating. It is a haven of adventure, tranquility, and unforgettable memories. If you're looking for an idyllic getaway where nature meets luxury, this resort should be at the top of your list. I can't wait to return for another incredible experience!

I had a blast! Spent the weekend at the resort. Did both paddle and motorboat. They let us bring my giant waterproof boom box onto the motorboat which was awesome I highly recommend music for the ride down. All the staff were helpful and fun. Absolutely no complaints. You won't regret this experience. I can't wait to go again.

Rafting adventure - exciting and yet saftey conscious. But the best part of our stay - by far, the staff. They were friendly, courteous, thoughtful, hard working and always kind. Go to here. Absolutely amazing! I went with some friends to do rafting at the Thompson River and we had a great time. Our guide Anne was really attentive and funny. We will definitely come back!

Had a great time rafting with Kumsheen, Connor and Taija were awesome guides, knowledgeable and lots of fun. Everyone at the resort was super helpful and friendly to accommodate our bachelor party, the live music was a nice bonus. Would highly recommend, especially paddle rafting!

Great trip for our family of 4. Stayed two nights in the cabins and did a full day power rafting trip. Thomas kept us laughing and screaming on the river, and everyone else was very customer focused ensuring we had a great, relaxing time.

Quick tip for those with a CPAP machine for sleeping. Ask for a cabin with power - the solar charged battery lasted all night, even with the heated tube

Kumsheen I hope we get to come back again! We rolled up after ten days on our motorcycles, hot and hangry, sorry Lou. Our tent cabin was charming and perfect. Pool, hot tub, shower house also perfect. And the place is so welcoming and ready for folks to have fun. Giant chess board, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes all stocked and ready for fun. They even have roasting sticks, and everything you need to start a fire in the fire pits ready and waiting. Pretty unique and welcoming place. And the food in the restaurant was excellent! Hope you allow us back, I promise I won’t show up hangry next time.

The rafting experience is absolutely exceptional! Seeing as how that is entirely separate from the accommodations I won't let the following affect any stars given - unfortunately with no available food for literal miles, there is very poor communication about meal reservations etc. Not to be overly dramatic, but, had I not packed an overload of crackers (meant to last me my entire weekend trip) we would have starved and gone rafting hungry in the baking hot sun.please bring your own food or plan ahead generally! The rafting itself is beyond excellent!

The people make this place! Some of the outstanding staff we had the pleasure of interacting with were Lizzy, Lou and Cassidy. There were some communication gaps but would definitely go back. Fantastic place!

Great little getaway weekend at Kumsheen this weekend with family. We did the powerboat tour of the Thompson and it was amazing. Great staff and food in a great location!

Been twice here so far. The staff are very personable and knowledgeable. Always a good time with friendly banter and team building.

Had a church camp out there and really enjoyed the venue. Beautiful trees, grass and mtns. Friendly staff. Recommend!

Just did a day trip to kumsheen on the weekend and it's a must do. I did not like peddle Boat but did love motor in the afternoon. Thomas was the guide who made my day. Lunch was yummy staff were great. Overall great experience.

It was so much fun! Everyone was so nice their was so much exciting moment that I will never forget and want to do it again

Absolutely beautiful place, $57 for two adults and a pet, it’s but at the pricy point for camping, BUt totally worthy!

Very friendly staff. Very affordable meals at the restaurant. Lots of space. Superb accommodations and views.

I had a wonderful time rafting! The guide Connor was very knowledgable and made me feel very safe. Thanks to Megan the manager too! Cant wait to go again.

The resort, cutting board cabin.all so so splendid.my dog passed and i was heart broken.they took me on a 2 day rafting trip.heart hurts still but am smiling after our adventure more.

We will be booking yearly now.and checking out hells gate.

Stayed at Kumsheen in the Canvas Tent and then did the full day Thompson Power the next Day.

Resort was clean and organized, canvas tent was clean and ready to go, staff were all super friendly and helpful, restaurant food was good and reasonably priced, can't say enough good things.

Our raft guide was Annie and the glowing reviews continue. Never felt anything but safe, even though the ride is crazy fun. She was entertaining and educational with a super fun personality.

Will be back for sure.

100% amazing wonderful experience at Kumsheen! Could not recommend it more highly. Great fun rafting experience. Wonderful staff. Great food. Rustic but good accommodation. Nice pool & hot tub. Great food.

The team at Kumsheen Rafting is second to none. Did a six hour power rafting work trip that had all the potential to be less than perfect. Weather was rainy, water freezing but none of that mattered.

We had an amazing time, more fun that anticipated. Taija and the safety crew were great, Bethany took incredible pictures and even our bus driver was an awesome guy. Would recommend rafting with

Kumsheen to anyone. The resort itself was picturesque with mountains, tee pee’. The Cutting Board restaurants stayed open for us as we arrived later than anticipated.

Food was good and breakfast is exactly what you need before a long day on the rapids.

Kumsheen became my annual go to spot since years! The staff are super nice and the teepees are well maintained! I highly recommend for all level of campers from beginners to fancy glamorous campers! Must try the white water river rafting!

Loved the experience here. And the staff is so nice. With our request they kept open the cafeteria on Sunday too. Thank you for your amazing service.
