Very delicious hand-made noodles and they have a special item everyday. Love this restaurant.

Nice hand-made noodles - good broth for the noodle soup, fresh proteins and vegetables. Recommended!

I have visited and ordered delivery from this restaurant several times. I am satisfied with the food they have provided so far.

Très bon Clay Pot noodles et General Tao Chicken! Service très efficace et attentif. Un petit endroit calme et sans prétentieux. Merci:)

The people are really super nice. I didn’t know that I can only accept cash or debit when I came here for the first time. After dinner, I explained to them that I can leave something here to get the money when I go home. They said that there is no need to let me go and they believe that I will come back now. There are also such merchants who really want to give a thumbs up

Best in vancouver! The noodle is really traditional hometown taste! If you wanna try the best Chinese traditional noodle, this is the place!

An excellent place for noodles and other small dishes. The noodles were pristine and delicately made. The beef was also tender to perfection. Definitely recommend.

A great place if you like hand pulled noodles. The noodles were freshly made in house (saw the chef pulling the noodle in the kitchen) and had a nice chewy texture. We also ordered the beef with beans but it was disappointing. It was way too salty. Worth a visit if you like noodles.

I ordered a large plate of chicken and it was cold. It felt like I made a big pot and left it cold. I didn’t heat it up enough, but luckily I didn’t have diarrhea when I got home. It means the hygiene is okay.
It's just not hot enough, which is very disappointing. Next time I will try the noodles again. If the noodles are average, then I will keep this review.

Clay pot rice noodle is a go to, especially the beef brisket in tomato pumpkin soup. There is a good portion of toppings and the broth is flavourful, it comes along with extra pumpkin in it.

Lan Zhou Noodles are so good and shallot pancakes are good to. Everything comes out so fast

I ordered online and picked up- staff was friendly and my order was ready right on time!

I got the build your own soup with spicy broth and pork. Absolutely delicious. They put the noodles on a separate bowl so they don't get soggy. Veggies were tender but not overcooked, and the broth has just a little zip, you can clearly taste the spices used (such as coriander) which is nice.

I also ordered some pork buns but they were cold and not great by the time I got home (my fault). I'd like to try them in store sometime.

Tried the dan dan noodles and it was delicious! Really big portions, good price, and their chili oil is so good. I had leftovers and it tasted even better the next day. Definitely coming back to try more!

A lovely small shop, but pack with flavors. A must try, Lan zhou stretched noodle (hand pull noodle). Its been a while since my last China trip, but I always miss the hand pull noodle. I finally find it at Vancouver. The taste just reminded me back in China.

We went to check out:
Kung Fu Noodles on 5615 Harold St (east from Joyce on the south side of Kingsway)
I know.when I first heard the name I thought it was cheesy too. With a name like KUNG FU noodles I wanted to saunter in their door.to challenge their martial skills of Wok Style Kung Fu.
Parking: Lots beside the restaurant. A big lot that covers the two restaurants and other establishments there.

Food: Great! Northern Chinese specialties. That being said, their sweet and sour pork is the best I've had in the longest time! This is ironically, being a Southern Chinese dish. They did it properly! It was deep fried and then the fresh pineapple flavor sauce went over it! Piping hot when your teeth meets the morsels! The steam from the hot deep fried pork can be felt inside the roofs of your mouth as you carry the meat into it's destiny. Most places in greater Vancouver just a re-fried of the pork if that, slap some sweet n sour sauce on it, ring the bell for pick up and clean the wok. Price: Good not expensive.
Place: Clean. I haven't check the washroom though.
Service: Very good. Quiet guy but attentive.
We did the DAN DAN NOODLES, a Northern specialty. I'm generally not into that peanut sauce thingy but this was fab man! Again we were expecting a thick peanutty sauce like places who serve these type of dishes but this was amazingly balanced! The peanut sauce was a perfect principle actor, and the supporting cucumber couldn't do a better job! The hero noodles slurped up beautifully with perfect texture! It was the perfect text book scene from a food show!
We had the special of the day and it came with a dish of Chinese style gyozas! Saiko being Japanese, said it was like a Japanese style, with the thinner covering.
We dipped these ever so delicately into the dark vinegar that is a must to pair it with. The with our wooden chopsticks we would dab some chill paste on it. The chili paste, typical of the Chinese from the North, had bits of crunchy chili in it so this gives it a nice little crispness to it.
Our OTHER bowl of noodles arrived on time when my stomach was playing the drums to serve the food! The meaty delectables surrounded by lush green vegetables lay atop the noodles that piled generously at the bottom.of the clear hot broth. Looking at the noodles under the clear broth reminds one of a clear blue sea from whence one can see the treasures of life at the bottom.
We also tried the Chive pancakes with no regrets! No you don't eat this with syrup! It's a Northern Chinese treasure and a treasure it is!
It's basically a fried pita pocket stuffed mercilessly with what tasted like "just picked from the garden" chives. When you carry one up to your mouth the fresh smell of that ' pancake' goes ahead and tantalizes your nostrils!
It's akin to the onion pancake you find in most Northern Chinese cuisines. Except those have green onions rolled into the dough and deep fried whilst these are like pita stuffed with Chives. The aroma causes the mouth to water but not overbearing leaving the senses to enjoy the other flavors that cry for attention.
I was told by Saiko that for the longest time this restaurant switched different owners. They were all Japanese ramen places but very, very sorry to say they didn't do well.
Now it's serving Chinese ramen ('Ramen' in Japanese comes historically from the Chinese LAI MEIN)
This restaurant has a nice cozy rustic romantic surrounding!
We always got the small table for two by the window. The walls are covered with ancient pictures that show the history of making noodles in China. Very cool, not antique, just drawn to look like old pictures, but well done. There's also a picture of a wax museum, probably in China, that shows a master making noodles by hand.
This is a must place to try! Out of 10? 12.

After ordering she asked me specifically if I'm ok with green onion and cilantro. I was like thanks for asking that and said no cilantro please. And then guess what I end up getting, a noodle with extra cilantro and no green onions.food there is just the worst but enough to fool a person who never had Chinese food before. Absolutely no idea why these people from comments liked this place so much

Awesome food and prices. Very authentic Chinese noodles. If you are looking for chewy, hardy and filling la mien hand pulled noodles, you can't go wrong here

This was around the 6th time here for lunch and never disappointed. Spicy cold noodle (not spicy) but chilli sauce on the table to heat it up, and a chive/leek pancake. Noodles are always delicious. All in for 2 under $30 with 2 cans of ice tea. Yes there are still deals in Vancouver. Check this place out.

Came here with two of my kids. Thought it would be a nice place to dine in since I got recommended by another mom saying this place is "family friendly"… REALLY? I don't think so. Was told theres only one highchair + booster are available and currently the highchair is being occupied but the family is leaving soon so I can have it afterwards. Finally ordered a bowl of noodle to share between the two kids. Food was okay! Not to the point I will be coming back for the second time. I need to feed two kids during the meal time but when one of the waitress sees two people came in the restaurant and started to line up. She brought me the bill and told me to be hurry because of people are waiting … excuse me? I was shocked when she said that to me although I knew it and asked the box to go. DID I EVEN MENTION ABOUT THE CUSTIMER SERVICE NEEDS TO BE RETRAIN? I guess not! Thst is why I only left 10% of tips! The food was okay but definitely not an "family friendly" place to dine in especially when you have smaller child. I personally don't recommend this place at all due to the lack of customer service and again "the place is being not family friendly"! Thank you!

Kung Fu Noodle Restaurant has three locations (Downtown, Richmond, Vancouver) before. Right now, there are only two locations. The Richmond location has been closed. I have been to the Downtown location on Seymour St street a couple times after I moved back from Calgary. The taste of food was not good as before. The location near Joyce Skytrain Station is on Harold Street, which is 10 minutes away from my home. Since this location is nearby Joyce Skytrain and Kingsway one of the busiest street, it's always busy. But, it's very hard to find a parking spot.

My boyfriend and I have been to Harold Street Location many times. This location is very small. There are only a few tables in the restaurant. I guess that most customers order the take out. We always ordered something again and again. Rice Noodle Bowls, Sweet Sour Pork, and Chinese Donuts.

$9.95 Beef Brisket Noodle Noodle in tomato pumpkin broth. The clay pot was super hot. Lots of meat are in the pot. The large portion of the noodle bowl. It's better to share between two people.

$9.95 Clay Pot Noodle Combo. It includes noodles + Broth + Vegetable based + One Topping in Clay bowl. For this combo, I always pick Rice Noodle, original chicken broth, Lamb slices, and added the vegetable. Lamb is my favorite in this noodle soup. I like to order this Clay Pot in the rainy day. Nice warm. So delicious.

$14.85 Sweet and Sour Pork. It's my boyfriend's favorite dish. The taste of food is very authentic. Sweet and sour pork is arguably one of the most popular Chinese dishes in the North America, but as with most classic dishes, it's difficult to find a go-to recipe. We have tried this dish in so many restaurants. Both of us believe that the most delicious one is from Kung Fu Noodle house. The pork is coated and fried until crispy, with tons of nooks and crannies that catch the sweet and sour sauce.

$3.95 Chinese Doughnut + Soy Milk Chinese Doughnut is Chinese fried dough or Chinese crullers, is a breakfast favorite in China. It always serves with soy milk. Very Tasty and authentic.

The food came out from Kitchen fast in this restaurant. All the food are fresh, hot, and in large portion. All food are tasty, delicious, and authentic. The price of the food was cheap. We have been to this place many times. We enjoy eating at this place. Highly recommend this Chinese Restaurant.

Casual ambience. It is a normal Chinese restaurant (nothing fancy in terms of interior design) specializing the noodles or different types of noodles.

Pricing is reasonable and their daily special is an awesome deal!

We ordered some Sliced Beef & Ox Tongoe In Chili Sauce, fried thick noodles with beef and Lanzhou beef noodles. All of them were delicious. Local people or people from the neighbourhood visit this restaurant the most.

Only the location is on a small street. It is not too obvious that people may not see it unless they walk by and see the sign.

I wouldn’t mind to come back and try other dishes.

Good hand made noodles. Not great. Just good. All dishes were overly salty. My tendon dish was actually a bunch of tripe and end pieces of my meat that were in my soup. Barely had any tendon at all. Misinformation. I like and know tendon. Definately not what I ordered. They probably assumed that I wouldn't know the difference.

This place is located by Joyce and Kingsway, and is close to the Joyce SkyTrain station. It's just along the #19, #26, or #41 bus routes as well. There is parking available on the street or around the area. There wasn't anything that really stood out to me about the food here. It's all quite tasty and delicious. The server was very pleasant and the restaurant was overall quite clean.

This is one of two hand pulled noodle places basically next door to one another. Kung Fu is probably lesser known, but it's really good! Less of a wait, modestly lower in price, but super tasty!

Their hand cut noodles are very fresh and chewy. Their combos are a pretty good deal and there are several to choose from. I got the dan dan noodles and they were delicious! I’d recommend this place and will be returning in the near future to try other dishes!

Tasty food. Shredded potato has a nice vinegary coating although a little chili would be nice, seafood chow mein has fresh chewy noodles although more seafood preferred, and pork dumplings super fresh and soft. Fast and friendly service.
