Great food, some different sushi options from other places and the sushi itself was delicious! The place itself felt a little austere though that might be the ethic they were going for.

Was really looking forward to the Omakase but sadly it wasn’t available for the season. They also ran out of Uni which was a bummer. Nonetheless the meal was delicious and fresh. Would go back again.

Sushis vraiment bon. Produit frais, belle exécution et bon goût. Personnel gentil, accueillant et professionnel. Je suis arrivé sur place et j'ai demandé une commande pour emporter. Ilnont pris ma commande sans problème et elle à été préparé en 15 minutes. Super!
Première fois à Vancouver (Richmond-Stevenson) et je ne suis pas déçu, excellent resto!

Place to go if you want to splurge on upscale Japanese food. I was wowed by the presentation of their special dishes, and the freshness of their seafood. They even serve real wasabi, which is very difficult to find nowadays.

Despite their name, they are no longer doing omakase courses.

Highly recommend if you have the chance to stop by in Richmond. A hidden gem with cozy atmosphere and such great service! Their oshis were so good like butter melt in your mouth. Definitely will be back!

We have been planning to dine at this sushi restaurant for a while as we live near by and frequent the area. Everytime we walk by we never have a reservation and miss our chance. As usual we forgot to make a reso but stopped by anyway luckily they had space for us.
We had a great time, the food was fantastic, some of the best sushi in town. We had the aburi nigiri, assorted sashimi platter and red wave roll combo. Service was excellent and they really accommodated us when we lacked a little table space.
The price point in our opinion was fair, considering the food was fresh, presentation was great and quantity was just right.
Great for a high quality sushi dinner night, the quieter intimate setting was a bonus for us.

All the dishes are on the spot, with the right amount of flavor. Decent in all aspects of the food, quantity, quality and presentation.

I’ve been to this little gem in steveston village several times now and they have been ultra consistent. This time around I went with 3 others and Kuns did not disappoint. Every single dish we ordered was just as good. Their signature zen meal is probably one of the best value in town. The otoro sashimi (pricey but worth it) literally melts in your mouth. Service was great too. Overall the experience was very enjoyable.

Very calming environment. Servers are very attentive. Food tasted great. Wagyu oshi just melts in your mouth. We didn't order alot of food as there were only 2 of us but everything tasted great. Highly recommend reservations as there are not many tables available

Location is a bit tricky to find. Great atmosphere, food, and service. Would go there again and recommend to others.

My first visit to this restaurant was for lunch on Saturday. The space is small but clean and bright. Service is prompt, very welcoming and considerate. The food was INCREDIBLE. Extremely fresh seafood, beautiful presentation, and each dish is carefully crafted before serving. Shout out to Emily, who served us. She's was so patient and explained all the dishes to our elderly parents in both English and Cantonese! Our table of 10 was very pleased with the experience.

Went for my friends birthday. Small group of 3 and we absolutely had an amazing experience. Food was delicious and the staff continued to check up on us to make sure we were ok will be back

High quality sashimi, nice atmosphere, superb service. Particularly enjoyed the bluefin tuna - it was unforgettable. The price was reasonable and I enjoy how the restaurant is slightly hidden from the street, makes for a lovely and quiet experience. Their servers are really helpful and patient - regularly checking in - but never rushing you.

The sushi wasn't amazing, but it also wasn't bad. Other dishes such as the Soba Peperoncinno and Prawn Viavola were a delicacy and everyone loved them. The hygiene and service were also superb, and overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you have a special event or a date, as the prices are expensive. It is certainly worth 5 stars and my time as well.

Delicious ebi and salmon oshi! Fresh sashimi with great presentation. Lovely restaurant with great service. Highly recommend!

Ambiance of the restaurant is very quiet and soothing. Terrific dining experience.

Very good quality of fishes and reasonably priced for the quality!
The house green salad was also delish and good price.

Regretfully, they were out of many fishes we wanted have from their limited fish selection like uni, chutoro and ohtoro. Hence -1star.

But we enjoyed all another fishes available that night!
I’d recommend to call them beforehand if you are looking for particular items from their menu to see if those are available that day.

Note: This is review is based on the fact that the hours show 11am to 3pm, but when I got their at 2pm, it was already after last call so in reality their hours are more like 11 -2pm. The restaurant is very neatly tucked away.the the premise had a very fishy smell.

Definitely one of the best sushi in town! Better to call in and make reservations, and totally worth the wait!
