Kushi Mura Izakaya / Wok and Sushi

Staff so so kind and welcoming! I got the kimchi bokkeup bab and they left me a cute little message! The food itself was also really good! They dont skimp of the kimchi. Yum. Will be coming back to try some other dishes:)

Excellent! All food I have ordered in several visits has been fresh and very tasty! Recommend the Salmon Tataki and Tuna Tataki. Staff very polite.

This place is almost comically terrible. Been there twice and both times the staff have been inattentive to the point of ignoring us, and the food has been deeply mediocre. Last time I had an uninspired sushi roll, and this time we did the wok dishes, which, although they tasted okay-ish for flavour, boasted what was clearly frozen mix veg as their only vegetable and the chicken dish was all fat, but, like, not chicken fat? It was big and chunky, like pork fat. None of the dishes we got was worth the $20+/per price tag. They also didn’t feel that clean, as a restaurant, as their washrooms were a bit squicky, and there was no hand soap.

짬뽕 진짜 맛있어요! Really good Korean-Chinese food. Happy to have a good Korean-Chinese place in New West.

I got the Spicy Chicken Karage Donburi bowl. I asked them to drizzle mayo on top as well. I always get this and it's always delicious. They even gave me miso soup and hot tea on the side.

Great meal last night with our family. Great service, great food, and we were fed very quickly. They were good at spreading out the shared plate deliveries so it felt like every few minutes there was something new to eat.

Very good prices and a so many options.
The best part is at 10 pm they do still serving with the same enthusiasm.

Wok & Sushi (formerly Kushimura) has the best sashimi in New Westminster. My salmon tataki was easily the best I have ever had. Even the spicy mayo is better than everywhere else. There was a mix up with my tataki at first and there was avocado put on it (when I have a severe allergy to it) but they made it right and again, the sashimi is just the best. We will be back time and time again. How this place doesn’t have line ups out the door is beyond me.

My boyfriend and i recently tried this place last week, and we came back again tonight.not only is the food amazing, but the woman who serves us is so sweet and funny. We enjoy the atmosphere. We will always come
back here!

Great and tasty food! Located at a convenient place in NW SkyTrain stn mall. However, they should change the menu description for "짜장밥" to "White Rice with Black Bean Sauce, " and not make it stay as "Fried Rice with Black Bean Sauce. " The rice I got was plain rice. It was not fried. The black bean sauce typically should also include some pork, but there were very few small pieces of pork and rest were veggies.

Absolutely delicious. The croquets and deep fried dumplings were stellar. And they deep fry some of their special rolls which is simply inspired.

Their Jja jang myeon is so delicious, I was pleasantly surprised. I went a few days later to try their Jjampong and that was really good too! Will be visiting more often:)

The experience was disappointing. I ordered the Korean-style chinese menu. The food was dated. I felt like I entered a time machine into 2008.

The restaurant is beautiful in some ways but dilapidated in others. The table/chairs were old and uncomfortable. The chopsticks were.old and gross. I tried to draw attention to the chopsticks but the staff seemed busy so I didn't bother.

I honestly don't get the concept as well. I want to see small businesses succeed. But, juggling korean-style Chinese food and Japanese cuisine in a high-rent location that needs quick turnaround is a bad idea: maintaining quality control is almost impossible. They have a bar that is heavily underutilized.

This is New West station area with Landmark positioned right there. It would make more sense to focus on drinks and just Japanese cuisine or just Korean-style Chinese food and do it really well. As someone who transits to the movie theater, I would love a place like this to quickly drop by with friends, order 3 drinks before the movie + some light food.

The portions are super small since the new management took over (Chinese owned). Paid $23 for super skinny slices of sashimi. Not worth the money. It was more reasonable when the restaurant was Korean owned.

I do not recommend going to this place.

Close to skytrain, nice interior, delicious food, friendly staff. I ate Korean style jajang noodle including pork and it was delicious. I recommend here.
