KWENCH

I did a trial day at Kwench and it was good, but I didn't love the vibe. I just don't think I'm the target demographic! I think it's aimed at more of a high-end professional audience. It was well-resourced and sleek, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, but it didn't feel didn't feel a really strong sense of community. As long as that's what you're after, Kwench is a great space!

Best workspace I’ve been to, anywhere, hands down. Staff is amazing, members are friendly, decor is exquisite, coffee is bottomless, every detail is thought through. Highly recommend.

Do yourself a favour and buy one of these stainless steel bottles with a very dope design! My 1 litre bottle and brush cleaner was delivered the next day and looked better than the pictures! I’m happy to support local and will more than happy to recommend this local family business.

A great space but upped their prices by a ridiculous amount this year. A boardroom going for $450 a day is now $700.

What a great entrepreneurial/business community and co-working space! I visited KWENCH without much advanced planning to accommodate last minute work obligations that arose on vacation. The staff is super great and warm, ditto the people who come to plug in there for work, and the cuddle loving dogs. Awesome, well-designed facility in a great location. Highly recommend.

I am new to Kwench and can’t believe how much of an impact it has made on me and my business already. Everyone is incredibly kind and happy to provide support and guidance for new business owners. It’s clean, has the best staff in the entire world and is gorgeous. There is nowhere better to work! I could not suggest it more if you’re looking for a community-vibe where you can work hard, focus and also have some fun.

I've been a Kwench member for nearly a year and love it. The staff, owners, and community are so friendly and welcoming. Even through COVID they've managed to create a vibrant community and follow the guidelines. The space is beautiful and relaxed - a perfect co-working space.

Basically my second home as I spend every day here. I’ve incorporated Kwench into my entire daily routine: gym and cycling in, showers that are way better than I have at home, Fantastico coffee, then I’m ready to start my workday. The space is huge and colourful. Great for social distancing and yet getting out of the house. A positive and motivating environment. Thank you so much!

I've been a member here for a year now and it's been a saving grace through the pandemic. Not only is the space absolutely STUNNING, the team of staff are incredible. There's a true sense of community here that is inclusive and welcoming, and it makes going to work something I enjoy even on the dull days. Skylights - woah. I 100% recommend this co-working space. I bet you will find yourself more productive and motivated simply because it feels good to be in this space and around people who are seeking the same.

Kwench is where you go when you need to be inspired and uplifted. While I am unable to work there as often as I wish, every single time I am there I am blown away by the care, attention to detail, and kindness of the team. They are exceptional at picking people for the job who go above and beyond to make their member’s experiences awesome from sweet chats with the team to keeping the space clean and orderly. They genuinely listen to member feedback and make improvements regularly. It’s more than just an office/co-working space; you really get that community feeling which can be so valuable when your work for yourself. There is always someone cool to chat with on lunch breaks. I am proud to bring clients to kwench for meetings - they have made the space a work of art.

Disco Innovation Studio came to Kwench last year looking for connection and community, in addition to a quiet place to focus and get our work done. I can happily say that Kwench manages to strike a balance between both! We absolutely love the space here, and feel like the staff have done an incredible job at listening to the needs of members. I've visited coworking spaces around the world, and this one takes the cake. The design is warm and comfortable, the vibe is productive and the group of people it brings together is something special.

In other co-working spaces, they offer the first day as a trial so you try the place and see how you feel, then you can subscribe but not this place. I had to pay for my first time visiting.

When I arrived the lady at the front desk was on the phone the whole time, also mentioned that I have to sign up for a tour which is not on the same day!

I had to pay $35 for a drop-in, although I did not like the place. The horrible attitude from a front desk worker who is supposed to be helpful, nice and with good vibes. I come to the island often, and I will never go to this place ever again.

Stay away

Kwench is the ultimate workspace to escape the dull, be inspired, wow your clients, and feel supported as an entrepreneur. Enjoy the friendliest of greetings, the most delicious offerings of endless coffee, tea, and sparkling or still water. Their kitchen and public areas bring me such peace and are cleaner and tidier than my home will ever be. The Kwench staff are the friendliest and most helpful individuals and I'm so grateful for their support. Kwench is like a little beehive of inspiring people doing incredible things and if you're not a part of the magic, you are missing out.

In order to enter the space, yes you must initially book a tour. The staff serve the members so it must be scheduled in order for them to arrange front desk coverage. This tour is essential in educating newbies on how to be respectful of current members. You definitely want to learn how to be a good roomie. By booking a tour, you are welcomed and shown around. I was lucky enough to get to meet and chat with Tessa for my tour. After your tour, you are given the opportunity to have your first day FREE.

WHY: After a year working from home, the isolation and breach of work-life separation drove me to seek a COVID-safe yet energetic work environment. I missed the creativity that comes with being surrounded by energetic people and smiling faces. I missed the comforts of office and, lets face it, the aesthetic appeal of the spare bedroom was wearing thin.

WHAT: After checking out the Victoria co-working landscape, I chose KWENCH. I found a welcoming, friendly and professional staff, an well thought-out suite of workspaces and a stimulating environment. Workspaces range from desks, to couches, to a quiet lounge area and include numerous private conference and "phone booth" spaces for meetings and calls. There is a complete, open-concept Kitchen, afternoon bar and fitness studio with several weekly fitness classes included in regular plans. Finally, there is a built-in cafe and bodega serving a tasty range of breakfast and lunch meals and snacks.

COVID: KWENCH impressed me with it's adherence to COVID protocols including increasing the amount of space available for hot-desking, regular sanitation, a solid mask policy, vaccination requirement and adherence to the measures by staff and members. I felt safe there.

After 7 months at KWENCH I was called back to my pre-COVID workplace. I miss KWENCH and would return in a heart-beat.

Kwench is a gorgeous space to work. The staff are amongst the kindest, most helpful people I have ever met, and I so appreciate their warm smiles and positive energy whenever I come into the club. The club itself is a work of art - with every room having its own unique and beautiful vibe. It's an incredibly motivating environment to be in, and it's a great way to connect with other likeminded people who are working and creating in this space.

I have a private office at Kwench and spend most of my work week there. What first amazed me was the creative, colourful and thoughtful design in every corner of the space. After working there, I am consistently warmed by the wonderful staff who make it their mission to ensure every person who enters their doors is welcomed, safe, and part of something. I've worked in a lot of co-working spaces around the world and none hold a candle to KWENCH. From day one I have felt welcomed. The space is beautiful, everyone on staff is amazingly friendly and ready to help when I need something.

Whether you want to be left alone to focus or to take part in a cross-breeding inclusive and rich community, KWENCH is the place. The exceptional staff and the Founder's work hard and well to instil a zeitgeist based on professionalism, fun and curiosity. I'm a tech Startup founder and have benefited from expert advice by fellow members as well as simple curiosity and genuine interest. Also, my canine companion loves this place!

We recently held a weekend course at Kwench and it was such a beautiful space. The building speaks for itself and clearly was intentional with its design and layout. We were designated to our specific large room, but it is hard not to walk around and take it all in! Worth checking out if you need a space to work or be creative! Bathroom soap and toilet paper ran out so had to find a solution for that.but the llamma wallpaper helped me look past that:)
