The gelato is sooooo good and the owner is very kind and knowledgable. We always love coming here, it is a very special spot!

Awesome place. We always make a point of stopping by when we're in town. So many flavors - it's almost impossible to pick! The owner is great and has served us a few times. His friendly and outgoing personality only adds to experience. If you like ice cream or gelato this place is a must!

A nice stop for a breakfast or morning snack and coffee.
Staff are so friendly and place has beautiful vibes. We tried Ice cream, pistachio is exceptional and butter scotch is not very sweet which is good.

Always a wonderful, joyful and delicious experience. Whatever time if day, there is something here that works.

We showed up looking for their black currant flavour. Unfortunately they had just finished it up the day before and so we tried strawberry cheesecake and pear ricotta instead. One of the owners told us she would tell her husband that we were after black currant and to call back the next day. To my surprise they made a fresh batch and it did not disappoint (nor did the coconut!). We’re happy to live quite far away from this shop as it would be quite dangerous to have nearby!

From the moment you walk in the door you're treated like a regular, even if it's your first time there. The owner is incredibly friendly, always cracking jokes and never without a smile on his face. The flavours are bold, rich, and out of this world (I'm still drooling over the Mojito flavour). When I'm back in Vernon this will be one of the first places I go back to!

Best gelato anywhere! Fakri remembers me each time & greets me with such enthusiasm… how could I not love it there!? So excited for the warmer & sunnier temps when gelato can/should be a regular indulgence in the Okanagan. You won’t get better service & quality than La Carraia!

We went for gelato, but then stayed for coffee and lunch as well! Their Italian panini was delicious, and the staff friendly and helpful. There are a lot of gelato flavours to choose from, and each one looks amazing! So great to have this place in Vernon!

We only stopped in for a quick coffee (I had the mocha). They service was friendly and fast, the cafe had a nice vibe. Very enjoyable overall.

This is the best ice cream in Vernon 100 percent. The flavors and quality are unbelievable. The owner is always so kind and his customer service skills and warm hospitality make you want to come back all the time. This is truly a jem in Vernon. The best of the best!

Rolled up here with the family while visiting them from Vancouver. We had a mess of wings across the street but had to leave room for this infamous gelato. I had heard about it so much on the Vernon social media I knew I had to try it whole we were in town.

I had one of my best Gelato experiences Today at La Carraia Gelateria Cafe, in Vernon. I tried a waffle cone with 2 scoops of Passion fruit and dark chocolate. Though bit pricy at ~ $8, I was not disappointed. And where lots of restaurants here close at 7 or 8, on a Wednesday night, this place is open till 10 PM. Check it out, if you are in Vernon.

Black currant is must try. Delicioso! That said, all of the gelato flavours at La Carraia are scrumptious. More than worth a stop in Vernon if you’re driving through like we were. With just one taste, we were transported back to Italy. Also, the owner seems like a lovely man, the shop was pristinely clean and there is indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend!

This is one of my best café shop in Vernon, you will always feel welcome with good customer service.

Our family stopped in for gelato and it was awesome. The store is bright and welcoming, and the owner is very friendly.

Best Italian gelato. Such a treat that we have a hidden gem like this in Vernon. The gelato is made fresh on site AND they know how to make excellent coffee. The only difficult thing is CHOOSING which gelatos you want to have that day!

Lucked into this spot during our walk. Amazing Italian Gelato that took us back to our honeymoon in Firenze! The espresso here is really good as well (authentic Italian style). Owner is really friendly as well and let our daughter try a couple of flavors before she settled on her pick.

So taste. The owner provides service beyond expectations. I always feel welcome when I go in. And the icecream. The stuff is just soon good. Makes me sad to eat ice cream elsewhere. So creamy and full of flavor. Just such a wonderfully place.

The gelato here is absolutely incredible. Service is also top notch. AND - our toddler approves, which a big win!

Must try the gelato! Don't be afraid of some of the less common flavors. Ours was really great! A bit expensive, but for an occasional treat/date night, I'd recommend it. - The mocha had a couple small rookie mistakes & was a bit sweet for my preference - but being a dessert place, I should've guessed that.
The manager/owner (working with food) did not wear a mask when I was there, but the other very knowledgeable staff member did - if that's something you keep track of.

Awesome cappuccino and we cannot wait to get this gelato home and try it! Our samples we tried were? Delish.

If there is any lower rating than this I would have given that. Guy in shop was very rude never had such bad customer experience anywhere in this whole world.
I bought ice cream there and asked for a empty cup employee on the till gave me 1 empty cup but the owner of shop came and said very rudely that don't take that cup and took it back and smashed on his counter as if we were stealing it. Watching all this happening we left our paid ice cream there and those people did not even asked for refund at least never ever going to visit this place.
Nor do I recommend anyone to visit this place.

Pathetic experience.

Terrific lunch, lovely ambiance, and the gelato (made in-store with a multitude of flavours) was amazing. We will go back.
