Tried the Saturday Pozole, never had it but it was very enjoyable. Will go back to try other things. Seems very authentic.

I have been trying different Mexican restaurants around Victoria for years and finally found the gold mine. Little hole in the wall, the food is amazing and it’s reasonably priced.

A cosy little gem in the heart of Victoria. The food is excellent, and the staff is muy amable and won't laugh if you practice your bad español with them. My wife and I have been going in for an early dinner once a week since friends introduced us to it, and we've been slowly working our way through the menu. So far, we've had Flautas, Quesadillas, Arepas, Burritos and Enchiladas Verdes, and it's really difficult to pick a favorite. Everything is absolutely delicious and, if we close our eyes for a moment during dinner, it feels like we are back in Guadalajara! If you enjoy authentic Mexican food you'll love La Fogata.

Yeah, so friendly and very delicious. Enjoyed our Chilada‘s and this amazing chocolate and custard cake. Loved it.

This has to be the freshest and delicious Mexican food in Victoria. The staff are so nice and happy, the vibe is like family.

This is incredible delicious authentic Mexican Street food. Highly highly highly recommend. They also bring you these chips with like 4 dips omg it’s amazing.

Best real Mexican food in Victoria, BC! Tastes like scrumptious Mexican street food. The staff is very friendly the food is incredibly delicious. I can’t believe someone said that is “tasteless” but they probably don’t have taste buds. Anyways I totally recommend this place 100%! Cant wait to eat here again.

I've been there twice and had green enchiladas and my girlfriend had the empanadas. The food is the most delicious Mexican I've had! The service is always good and it comes with 4 different sauces and a variety of hot sauce. Favorite restaurant right now!

This was really some of the worst food we’ve ever had. It was grainy and tasteless. In fact we ended up throwing most of it out. Maybe they were having a bad day but I wouldn’t try again.
