We had scones with cream and jam + tea. It was all very tasty. A unique afternoon tea experience. Recommended for anyone loving a fine high tea or Devonshire tea.

My friend and I came here for tea and we both had a marvelous time. This place opens at 11am which is the time we arrived so it wasn't busy. The tea was lovely and we also had 2 scones each. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying afternoon tea here.

Great place to enjoy your time with your friends and eat cute deserts and drink delicious tea, our server Derek is one of a kind, he is the best. This place is small and the portion size for the food is not very fulfilling, the cost per person is about $60-70. You’re definitely paying for the aesthetic.

There’s free parking downstairs.

Decoration is as seen on social media. It is a bit more worn down but still “IG worthy”.

The food will come before everyone arrives so if you’re planning to do a surprise, have the person come as soon as everyone’s there.

You also won’t get a tea pot per person or to pick what tea you want. We had 9 people and was given 3 pots and never given an option to pick the tea we want. Our bride to be is deathly allergic to mango and one of the tea was mango something.

We had no issues with the time allotted or the food. They didn’t rush us to leave at the 90 mins mark.

The tea was honestly pretty good! We started with the savoury foods at the bottom and made our way up to the sweet and honestly everything that was savoury and the scone was really, really good. The sweet desserts in my opinion were really sub par (too sweet), I ended up skipping two or three of them after one bite.

I don’t think there was AC in the restaurant so it was extremely warm even with the fans on… but they let us stay for a decent amount of time and left us alone for the most part which was nice.

There’s free parking in the lot, but the servers don’t seem to pick up the phone so you’ll have to go in and tell them to open the gate for you.overall, I don’t know if I’d choose this spot over other places in the city.

Not sure why this place has such a high review.
The food was so stale; the red velvet cupcakes were inedible because they were rock hard with brown mold on the inside. We showed the server this and she just said thanks for letting her know (no other concessions were made like offering another dessert or anything).
The other mousse cakes tasted like the freezer or with freezer burn. The one I had the luxury of eating was still frozen in the middle.
Cucumber sandwich bread was so stale and basically all bread with barely any filling. Devonshire cream was way too sweet with icing sugar - not at all even close to clotted cream that’s more traditionally offered for high tea. Also no option given for the type of jam you could get.
Place is run down and sad. Toilet not clean and no paper towels. Dead flowers on a chair in the bathroom.
The server was kind enough and we felt bad because she was all alone and doing everything. The tea was decent. Scones were tiny but good.

For $56 per person you’re better off going to a super fancy hotel downtown for afternoon tea. 10/10 do not recommend this place. Awful.

Amazing! Wonderful service and I couldn’t pick my favorite. They were all amazing. Fresh pastries (which is a rare). Derrick is such a great host and photographer

High tea at $58pp was just ok. The savoury food was better than sweets. The muffins were bad, it was hard as opposed to nice and fluffy.chocolate cake was forgettable. I would even say the desserts taste like something you would get from Safeway. Food is 3* but service is good so overall 4*. Free Parking is a plus! They are hard to get ahold of by phone so better to text them if you need a reservation.

Amazing experience! Will definitely go again! Cocktails were so yummy! Delicious savory and sweet treats with fresh flavors for the high tea menu. The tea flavors were hard to choose just one. Phenomenal customer service! Memorable bday fun!

Super-cute “hidden gem” place for high tea in Mount Pleasant. It has an adorable ambiance and the high tea service was really good. It’d be lovely for a date or with a group of friends. The food was tasty, especially the savouries.

Two other nice perks: reservations by text! And free underground parking!

Some of the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. When I took a look at the restaurant and it’s reviews it looked promising! So I felt that this would be the perfect place to host my baby shower, we called and left a voicemail so that we could book a reservation (nobody called us back) a few days later we made another attempt and then even texted them and finally got a response, the man called and gave us all the information etc and then said he would call us the next day to finalize our booking and get the deposit (never called) after 5 ATTEMPTS of trying to book with this guy and constantly being met with excuses we decided to take our business elsewhere. This place really needs some new management if they have any hopes of being successful, complete disappointment.

This place has a beautiful aesthetic, and that's it. When i arrived, i was told to use a qr code to get the menu, which once loaded wasn't very clear. My tea came in a grubby pot covered in finger prints. The tea itself was ok.the food was mediocre at best. Some of the cakes were very dry. The service was abysmal with our server disappearing until it was time for the bill. $75 dollars per person including an automatic %18 gratuity that was not explained beforehand. There is absolutely NOTHING about this service that is worth $75. The windows are west facing and as we sat in the afternoon sun, we all roasted. There were no fans, no AC, no offers of ice water. Again, just really ridiculous. Would not recommend to anyone.

The energy is serene and calm; the ambience is very French with velvet and Parisian jacquard chairs. Amazing selection of pastries, and customer service is excellent. Our server smiled plenty, and the chef is responsive to requests for diet restrictions. Merci beau coup!

Service needs a lot of work. The place was empty as we were the first customers. We stood at the door for almost 10 mins. We had reservations. Server was friendly but never explained the menu and did not return after we received our food. Food was nothing special or memorable and did not taste fresh. Desserts were just okay. It took us another 30 minutes to call someone from the back so we can pay for our bill. The place is definitely instagrammable but it’s not tasteful or classy. I would not return for the price we paid. Many other options with better food and service.

On the website it said $48 per adult sized tower but in reality it costed $58 per adult
Food was told to be fresh, but when it came it was cold, had a grilled cheese for a kids one and it wasnt close to warm

Definitely very cute and aesthetically pleasing. I had the black lychee tea and it tasted delicious; small hint of lychee that went very well with the sweets.

The reason for 3 stars is that my friend and I only liked 2 items out of everything served. The cakes were very dense and the bread was kind of hard, almost stale tasting. The pastry under the smoked salmon was also hard to bite into. It looked like it was supposed to be flakey.

Very pricy when some of the food wasn't that great in my opinion. A fun one time experience though.

Just the most fabulous little spot came here today for a small baby shower and had the best time? , everything was pretty, delicious, and just simply fun very niche experience and would absolutely recommend it for special occasions

They need a better reservation system. We made a reso but they somehow lost it and there was no way to prove we made it (no confirmation email etc) and they were full so they just shrugged and couldn't seat us. Disappointed, as my sister came from Victoria to have afternoon tea there.: (

Came on a Saturday and after being seated for 15 min, someone in this small venue stopped by to greet us. The website mentions the high tea price of $48 which was acceptable with a kids portion at $38. Tea cup and saucers were cute but the teapots need some major cleaning.
The image shown is for 3 high tea servings- $144. The presentation is quite nice with the bird cage.
When I received the bill, we were suddenly charged $58 per person, the manager apologized because they forgot to update the website as the price increased as of June 1. Then he automatically added 18% gratuity when there was no mention of it anywhere on the website. If the service and experience we received was exceptional, 18% is normal. But when service had left a lot to be desired, they did not earn that. Transparency is key to any business. Really should provide the guest a bill and not just hand the machine over to 'just pay' the bill.
Not impressed. The manager needs to take some courses or lessons on customer service. He was rough and really seemed to be in the wrong industry.
I will not be visiting again. There are many more high tea options in Vancouver that provide better value and better quality.
To the owner- You may want to frequent those competitors to see how you can improve the experience.

I attended for a baby shower and it was a really pretty space! The tea was really good - both caffeinated and non-caffeinated. The pastries were delicious and there were vegetarian and vegan options as well! Highly recommend.

Absolutely love the amazing service, delicious food and awesome drinks! The perfect spot for high tea! Can’t wait to come back!

This place was cute and very IG worthy to say the least. I came here for a retirement tea for one of my colleagues. We were all first timers at this restaurant and it was a great experience for us all. The teas they serve are wonderful and very flavorful (the ones we ordered at least) We ordered the high tea set menu and boy was it delicious. Everything was made in house from the baked goods/desserts, tea sandwiches and wraps all the way down to the spreads and jams.

Our host/server Derek was amazing! It was like a one man show running the whole place. Of course there were other people in the kitchen but for majority of our time there it was all him. Thank you for your hospitality. It was definitely a pleasure and enjoyable to see your enthusiasm during our experience from start to finish.

Hope to be back again soon!

Went to this funky delightful place for high tea. Was not disappointed.the savouries and sweets were delicious and just the right amount of food. The owner who looked after us and our orders was very knowledgeable, witty and charming so he fit in perfectly with the decor. We will be going back again for sure

A delightful place that I did not know existed. It has a European feel which is nice for Vancouver! I highly recommend it for the atmosphere and vibe. Plus it’s good to support local businesses and Entrepreneurs!

This review is for the afternoon tea takeout. I haven't been in person in several years but would have rated that higher. I ordered 4 afternoon tea takeout sets and I had hoped each set would be individually packed but they were not (see my photos for how it came packed - 4 pieces of each item together in a bunch of boxes). It was given to me in a plastic bag with no cardboard at the bottom (like some Chinese takeout places do) so even though i was trying to be very careful about keeping it all level, they all got squished together. The items themselves were pretty good but just the presentation was quite poor. And I think we are paying a lot usually for the experience of the afternoon tea so when it came like this it seemed not worth the money.

If it’s raining out get your tea house on, and we all know how much it pours in Vancouver. Great place great atmosphere great owners ️

We had a wonderful experience here. We made a group reservation and the person who answered the phone was upbeat and friendly. Upon entering, our host was attentive and kind with a bonus of sharp wit. The afternoon tea offerings were beautifully presented and bursting with flavours. We felt relaxed and not rushed at all. They made it their mission to let us enjoy each other’s company and all the tasty treats while ensuring we had absolutely everything we could possibly need. Thank you for making a dear friends special afternoon even more special.

A wonderfully cozy spot for tea and tasty dishes! We just moved recently to the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood and this has quickly become our favourite place to come for brunch!

My daughter and I had a great time with afternoon tea. The tea and pastries were delicious, especially the quiche and chocolate mousse. Will definitely go back again and hope to discover new flavors.
