Good food, beyond comfort food level - the beef burrito and chicken burrito were tasty and worthy of repeat visits. The only problem was the noise in the restaurant. Not many other customers at that time of day (11: 30am) but the loud noise from a drinks machine or blender stopped our conversation. Otherwise, I'd recommend this place.

Prices was unnecessarily high, service was great, David was the best of hype men, I'll definitely come back for a more lively weekend and go out on the town after this spot

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had in Vancouver, the atmosphere and the service is amazing and the birria tacos are just the best! My server was really friendly and his recommendations were on point. Thank you to the whole team, amazing management of the place!

I had a highly disappointing experience with their service today. I was really craving tacos and chose to come to this restaurant for lunch. We were promptly seated, and after waiting for about 5 minutes, I was ready to place my order. However, we waited and waited without any attention from the server. After 15 minutes, I had to wave my hand to get the host's attention and request assistance. He assured me that he would fetch my server, but another 10 minutes passed without any service. Frustrated and hungry, we decided to leave. I am extremely disappointed with the experience and have no intention of visiting this restaurant again.

I like the margarita it was delicious and smooth. I really like the chicken tacos also. Nachos was okay

If you are looking for a free meal than look no further, my family and I ordered take out, I picked the order up took it home and found out that the order was almost completely wrong and two of the burritos we ordered were wrong. My bad though, I should have checked the order but I figured they would get it right since all they have to do is look at the order and put food in a bag. Anyways, I called them and they said they would remake the order. They offered me a gift card (like they think I'm coming back hahaha) I refused and demanded a refund for the entire order, which they did. After getting back home, the entire family was disappointed with the meal. My burrito had no flavor and was quite dry, everyone pretty much said the same. Way over priced for the quality, if you want a good burrito than you're better off at Mucho Burrito.

Edit: the manager reached out and offered to make things right a few days later. Further they explained that they were understaffed and working on training, so I upgraded my review. ////

The hostess charged me regular price during happy hour (I wasn't aware it was happy hour). I only realized because she told a customer ordering after me that he could get happy hour pricing if he put in his order in the next few minutes. I went home, checked my receipt and realized she had overcharged me. I reached out to them via their customer feedback qr code and was asked to send them a copy of the receipt. I did as asked and didn't hear back. I followed up the next day and still did not hear back. I regret tipping and visiting this location. The North Van and downtown locations are much friendlier and more honest.

Got to go of a quesadilla and taco combo.not impressed at all.the quesadilla was the wrong one and the cheese was all lumped in on spot inside it.the tacos were luke warm and soggy with little love added. Wont order again.: (

I came during happy hr to get a few drinks. Had change drinks my first drink didnt taste good staff was nice about it changed it. Food was good i just wish the portions were alil bigger.

Really good food. I never went to the old location because the limited seating was always full. This location is quite comfortable.

We found this place by accident as we were planning on going somewhere else for lunch. Fortunately, the construction forced us to cross paths with La Taqueria.

We both got burritos. Although, it took longer than expected for us to get our order even though the place had a max of 4 groups; the burritos were delicious.

The food here is always so good! I love the cauliflower baja; my boyfriend’s favourite is the al pastor.we got the to-go margaritas today which are fantastic but strong! Definitely best to bring home and drink over ice. We got a quick beer while we waited for our order and the bartender was efficient and friendly:)

This place is awesome. It has really good authentic Mexican food and it has a really good atmosphere great for stopping by and eating. The nachos were delicious and full of flavor. The tacos are always amazing. I would definitely recommend!

Found this restaurant in thatmap.com and was pleasantly surprised. A sit-down restaurant with small taco shop flavors. Prices are reasonable given that tacos are larger than average and have very high quality ingredients. My favorite is the hand washing station inside, great idea.

Try their Baja tacos if nothing else. You can't go wrong with this place whether a full meal and hang out with friends or like me for a quick noon hour delicious and quick lunch!

The Tuna taco salsa was not prepared in the same day and tasted like nothing.
Had a lazy host who wanted me to stay 2 meters away from my girlfriend.
The food was runny, and not in a good way.
I was given 1oz of meat on a taco.

My boyfriend and I came in and we were greeted by such a rude host. He mumbled some words and was not very welcoming. We were trying to scan the bar code for the menu and we were obviously having some trouble scanning it, but the host did not care and just left to lead us to our seats.
When we finally sat down my boyfriend and I wanted to sit next to each other in the booth so we moved the table in an angle so we can eat comfortably together, and the host forcibly moved it back while my boyfriends arms are still around the table and mumbled some more words again. We would have been okay to sit across each other if he asked us nicely but he was just so passive aggressive. After that we ordered our food - the server did not come to ask us how our food was until my boyfriend finished eating.

The food was okay. We ordered from the happy hour menu. The pico de gallo and coleslaw was very watery. The atun could have been better. But I think a bit over priced for what it is.

The lack of customer service especially from the host honestly ruined the atmosphere of the restaurant for us and we don’t think we would be going back because of this. I hope they hire better staff in the future.

Came here for my bday dinner, recieved the worst non existent service i have had in a very long time.we where seated and immediately forgotten about.finally takes order and forgets to ask about sauces, so we wait about 15 mins for that, food is now cold.our server switched at this point and the new one literally never came to the table for the rest of the evening.on that note the Coba taco was unreal good.

Nice patio and very spacious inside. A much better location than the previous one on Cambie. We had the crispy chicken burrito. It was full of raw cabbage and carrots which we didn’t like very much. Overall it was just okay.

Incredibly rude waiter, this place needs to review their hiring practices. The only reason this place is open is because of how close it is to the hospital and other offices. Do not recommend

Me and my work crew had dinner here the other night and the food was excellent authentic Mexican food which was combined with a GR8 atmosphere and with excellent staff. I highly recommend this place for good times and great food!

So far one of the best tacos I've tried in Vancity but they are pricey $6.50 for each taco.
I ordered one pastor (8/10) one carnitas (8/10) one asada (8/10) one special (9/10) some nachos with pastor $16.00 and a Jamaica drink $3.00 (6/10)
The environment is so good and their patio is really nice.
The day I got to lunch there was a group of people sitting behind me who was screaming too much but apart from that that place is very nice to share with friends

I usually go during happy hour as it's a deal. My first experience was the greatest with La Taqueria, felt like it was a bit pricy and didn't find the tacos were that great, but I went back 2 weeks ago with a friend and I was really impressed. I guess I was just ordering the wrong tacos. I would highly reccoment their seafood tacos, especially the Ahi tuna - definitely my fav. Nachos were amazing as well.

Ordered through doordash for a work lunch, setup a group order so everyone could pick what they wanted and keep things separate. Unfortunately all the food was packed together, resulting in people having to search through multiple boxes to find what they ordered. Definitely not COVID friendly.

Definitely a dine in place in my experience, tacos can get a bit soggy on takeout orders. Still delicious none the less!

Literally the best nachos I've ever had. Tacos were decent, margarita was good too, but man those nachos.

Service was kinda slow but it was pretty busy during happy hour so w/e.

This place has good tacos and a nice decoration, but they have gone too greedy with prices. Like, 7 dollars for one Taco is crazy. And it's just the taco, no sides. The service is also a hit and miss with servers forgetting the orders and so on.

I've been to many of the Mexican restaurants in the city - and La Taqueria has become one of my favorites! The music always good, food is great, and the servers are super helpful. Last night I went in around 6: 30pm during a rush and the staff tried their best to be super efficient and accommodating. It was totally worth the wait, the service was great and nachos where amazing we had a great time, thanks to Malcolm and Paola for helping us with drinks while we waited on the bench to be seated.
I would definitely go back!

I really enjoyed the time when I was at the bar with my friends, loved the cocktails, the service, the food, loved the place!

They spent the budget on a really nice looking restaurant but no real service. You order and pay up front but I waited at an empty counter for a couple minutes. Prices are too high for what you get and how. The carnitas and Al Pastor tacos are good but it's all so soggy and portions are very small like a teaspoon of filling. The atmosphere isn't warm and friendly. The The staff seem irritated at having to interact with anyone. The dark haired server with a ponytail didn't make eye contact or smile at any customers the entire time we were there last, which seems to always be the case with that one staffer we see the most. We've been here a few times coz of the food but found less and less reason for returning here. I can see from the reviews that the vibe from the staff has been noticed. Hope it improves, I know restaurant Industry is brutal and Vancouver closes half its restaurants every year, crossing fingers they get better

The taco menu is extensive and tasty, the ingredients taste fresh. Margaritas ain't half bad either

Great tasting tacos but sadly it felt way overpriced. Got a side if beans and it was tiny, and the mole tasted too much like chocolate.

This used to be my favorite restaurant in Vancouver (back at the Cambie location), but they have made many changes since expanding, mostly for the worse. Smaller portions, higher prices. The tiny taco shells which fall apart easily, especially if you have a wet filling like tinga de pollo. Instead of pineapple salsa on the pastor it is just a single thin sliver of pineapple. These kind of shortcuts allow them to mass produce. On top of this, they will expect a large tip (programmed into their atm) when you have to stand in line to order your own food and get your own water.

Had lunch at this Mexican restaurant and I'd say this is pretty authentic.from the Mexican soda they offer to the salt shakers! The corn tortillas are very good and really enjoyed the tinga de pollo and the asada tacos. Great and fast service and very clean environment. Would definitely go back for lunch!

Wanted to try this place out as my partner and I were craving tacos after work, would not go back. Service felt like they were irritated with customers and wanted to just close up and go home. No smiles here. Placed an order Togo and sad to say that we were not satisfied.

To start the guacamole and chips were disappointing. You could tell that there were a significant amount of tomatoes over avocados. Did not taste like guac, it tasted like tomatoes. The chips that were included had an oily residue that tasted like it was fried in old oil.

We ordered 3 of the same tacos each, so 6 in total. I specifically asked for no onions on one of my tacos and I open the box up to onions on my taco. Took a bite of my first taco and noticed the lack of flavour and the tortilla was soggy. My partners tacos fell apart as she took it out of the box, the oil from the meat had seeped through the tortilla and it broke through. We ate the tacos within 10 mins of picking up my order and bringing back home and nothing was hot, not even warm. Paid $30 for nothing, not worth the price for the amount that you’re getting.

Would not recommend, tacofino is 5 mins away and 10x better than here. Tacobell does better.

I’m Mexican, and this are BY FAR the best tacos in Vancouver. Not to mention the Greatful Community Bowl.

I was born in Mexico so i know what Mexican food should taste like

I try to stop here whenever I am in Van. Their vegetarian food is great; the cauliflower ones are my fave. Just had the nachos for the first time and THEY ARE AMAZING. Please put a location in South Surrey:)
