I had another amazing lesson with Ruel. He has definitely made an improvement in my game, especially when it comes to consistency. I was almost always shooting high 80s to mid 90s, and now I’m down to consistent 80s. I’ve only seen him 3 times. Looking forward to more lessons with him.

Ruel was amazing! Taught me some neat exercises to improve my swing. Very patient and encouraging gentleman. Would definitely recommend.

This is the second camp my son has done with Lago. He enjoys every bit of it, learns a lot, and likes the instructors. My son was excited to share his stats and areas of improvement with us. A highlight was the golf cart limo.

I’ve been taking golf lessons at Lago Golf Academy over the past year, and the progress I’ve made has been fantastic thanks to my amazing instructor, Shiella Cowan. As a beginner, I appreciate her patience and her approach to educate me on everything from the ground up - rules, etiquette, and skills. She’s an absolute pro with years of experience and she makes it easy and fun. The advanced tools they have available, like the video analysis and launch monitor, help quantify my progress and makes it that much more fun. Highly recommend the Lago team!

Had a private lesson with Tim yesterday. Very informative, started to work the ball left and right. Great results after one lesson.

Shiella Cowan is a fantastic golf instructor. She has been giving me lessons since I started in 2020. She is patient and only gives me what I need to learn at the right time. My game has improved significantly in 3 years due to her expertise. I would highly recommend her!

My 12-year-old son has been taking group lessons here for almost a year and still asks for more. The coaches make sure he is always learning new things in a fun and engaging atmosphere. They are knowledgeable and very supportive. The state of the art equipment help him improve and also make it entertaining. As a parent, I love the small group classes that can cater to their individual needs. I take comfort knowing that my son is in a safe place where they care about him and his progression. Their website is very user-friendly and it is so easy and convenient to book lessons through this site.

They have fantastic facilities and great instructors at Lago. I really enjoyed my putter fitting with Patrick and really appreciate the adjustments he made to my putter to make it more suitable for me and my stroke. If I ever do get back to taking golf lessons again it will definitely be at Lago Golf Academy.

Patrick is an amazing instructor. At first I thought things were going too fast but he put me through a bunch of drills and then it all clicked like magic. An hour later I was hitting the club with so much extra distance and crisp. Can't recommend Patrick enough and will be looking to book more lessons in the future!

We had a private lesson with Alex H.and it was awesome! Can’t recommend Alex enough. He helped so much with both our swings, one beginner golfer and one seasoned. He’s a great coach and took time to break down all the drills and give us queues to work on at the range between lessons. Whether you’re experienced with golf or just starting to get in the game, I recommend booking lessons with Alex!

Friendly, respectful, professional teachers. Great communication with parents, and the thorough progress report was so informative. The facility is pretty and the restaurant food is absolutely amazing. My son had so much fun learning about golf, and he will be back in September for the next level.

A friend and I (Bev) just finished our five classes with Sheila. I am a new golfer and my friend has been golfing for a couple years. We enjoyed our classes with her. We both learned a lot. I had my 1st lesson at Lago Golf Academy with Craig T. He was very helpful and was able to point out 3 or 4 things for me to practice. During the lesson, I immediately noticed the difference those tips were making and he was able to show me on the high-speed camera footage how successfully I was implementing the changes. I have a lot of practice to do, but I wouldn’t hesitate to have more lessons at Lago Golf Academy in the future.

Learned a lot from my lessons with Craig. Time and money well spent. Will return for more help to keep improving my game.

Their summer and spring break camps are well run and organized. Kids have fun and are kept active with kind & patient coaches. Highly recommend!

My 6 year old son has been taking lessons with Craig at Lago Golf Academy for about 9 months progressing from Level 1 to Level 3. He's learned so much from Craig and is dramatically improving his game with every lesson! Craig's a terrific teacher, being very patient, breaks down his instructions into simple concepts, and overall just really works well with kids. Definitely signing up for more lessons in the spring and summer!

Great experience with Patrick. Fixed some inconsistencies in my swing which I wouldn't have figured out myself. I would recommend getting a swing analysis session if you have issues with your swing.

Every golfer should do themselves a favor and get a video swing analysis. Your mind will be blown. Patrick was great and the video lesson that you get sent to watch at you leisure is very helpful.

Patrick is very friendly and encouraging teacher who is able to explain things clearly and make it easy for me to understand. His performance lab is state of the art and although all the information and technology may seem overwhelming, it allowed me to understand what I needed to do and gave me immediate feedback. The video overviews after each lesson are great for referring to when you practice on your own. Highly recommended!

It was so disappointing. The pro worked out on his own during the lesson and didn't teach. And he didn't say a word. I'm a waste of money.

I have returned time and again over the years to take lessons from Sheila Cowan. She is amazing and my game always improves. When I try other instructors it messes up my game. Sheila is straightforward and knowledgeable and guides you easily to overcome your challenges and get your game on track. I highly recommend her.

We did the introductory lessons for couples (4 of us in total) and had Tim W.as our instructor. My sister and I have never been on a course (we’ve been to the driving range here and there) and our husbands were active golfers (playing rounds for a few years). Despite our different levels of skills, Tim was great at giving individual feedback and focusing on one person at a time. We learned things as a group but would also be able to hone in on what each of us needed to work on which I really appreciated. Tim taught us everything you need to be able to play your first round of golf (which we just did!). I had a great experience with Tim and would recommend you to seek him out specifically as the instructor. He makes golf approachable, helps you understand the foundations and most importantly, makes it an enjoyable experience. In terms of the lessons, you learn how to grip and hit correctly with all of your clubs and really learn the foundations so I would recommend this course for complete beginners up to those that have been playing golf without having had previous lessons to lay strong foundations.

My 12 year old learned so much from Michael and Patrick. After the lessons he always remarked that one hour flew by so quickly because he had so much fun:)

Sent kids to only girls summer golf camp with Winnie. Kids first experience with golf and they loved it.

Patrick was great and made changes very understandable. The first few games after I struggled a bit as expected but 3rd game in I shot 3 lower then my personal best.

I have been visiting Lago Golf academy since January of this year and have received great instruction and encouragement from Shiela Cowan. Before investing in my own set of clubs, Shiela recommended a club fitting session. It proved to be an educational and memorable experience with Pro Club fitter, Terry Visosky. Great experience, given the friendliness of the coach and the success of my first lesson I came away with a pretty positive feeling and I will suggest to anyone who's looking for a golf Tec center to go in and give it a try.

Had my second lesson in a package of 5. This lesson took full advantage of the new force plates and data analysis software.

What a difference the new tech makes! Being able to see exactly how different changes in your swing and weight transfer correspond to changes at impact.

The new tech combined with Pat's ability to communicate what you need to change in a clear and easy to understand way, means you start to see instant progress with your swing.

I had already seen Patrick once before so I knew how experienced and good he was at his job. After the upgrades to the facility, seeing the video, numbers and graphs made it a phenomenal learning experience. I highly recommend it!

Highly recommend Lago Golf Academy's golf camps. Both my kids had a great time with Alex. Each of their golf games improved and they were sad when the camp was over because they had so much fun.
